ParticipantI think this could be a Belle-centric episode. The title “Quiet Minds” could refer to Belle being bookish and preferring the solitude of her library to the company of others. In that way, she is a lot like Rumple, who prefers to sit at his spinning wheel alone than to socialize. Also, I think she will feature in the present-day with flashbacks to FTL-past that include Rumple.

ParticipantI’ve been busy with holiday events, but I hope everyone is enjoying the break. Here is a lovely SF fan video which I came upon. This one is from Neal’s perspective about how he looks at Emma with regret because he knows he’ll never find anyone else like her. He decides to do the brave thing by facing his past mistakes, and he humbly apologizes for them.

A real man of honor does what Neal does by admitting his faults, seeking forgiveness and also forgiving his own father. Neal is now trying to offer hope to Henry and Emma by saying he will see them again. I’m keeping the faith that Emma will give Neal a second chance, because they love they have is the kind that endures even when it seems like all hope is gone.

ParticipantOh yes, the past can hurt. But you can either run from it, or learn from it.”
Oh perfect quote for SwanFire. Tonight some of us rewatched 301. One of my favorite moments and it fits with Slurpeez’s quote
I think that if anyone has learned from his past mistakes, it’s Neal. He’s already admitted that he let his fear of rejection stand in the way of his love for Emma. He apologized to Emma for everything, and stated his regrets. He’s told her he’s fighting for her, yet still leaving it up to her to decide what she wants. She said to Neal that it would be easier for her not to face all the pain she went through before. Yet, as Rafiki has said, you can run or learn from the past. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing Emma deciding to do the very real thing of facing her past head-on and for Neal to be telling Emma how much he loves her. She’s currently cursed, but I think her losing her true memories will make it that much more poignant when Emma discovers her true memories. And I think it’s her and Neal’s dreamcatcher which will be her wake-up call.
