So it would seem that 3×13 is called “Witch Hunt” and could introduce the Wicked Witch of the West! Also, there are set photos floating around of SB again, suggesting a third curse gets enacted by the WWW! Maybe Rumple got the dark curse originally from the dark fairy (aka WWW) and maybe Rumple is alive but being held prisoner by her! Hmmmmm.

Didn’t Regina say it will be as if the first dark curse never happened, which is why SB disappears? Well, if that is the case, is that the same thing as rewriting history? Yet, if it’s as if the curse didn’t happen, how is Emma in our world still and how did she meet Neal to then conceive Henry? Or is it just the case that Emma thinks the curse didn’t happen (though it did), and that SB itself will actually reappear again when Emma believes? Confusing!

So who knows, within the logic of the show why NYC, but it was a choice of the writers. They could have put her down in Pittsburgh–baseball fans like Adam know they’re the Pittsburg Pirates right? New Haven, Connecticut –just like the safe Haven was the curse survivor bubble. They picked something that ties to Neal.
Exactly. Home is where the heart is. Emma’s heart led her to NYC where Neal’s home was prior to returning to EF. (NYC is also the home of the Yankees, which is Adam’s favorite baseball team if I’m not mistaken).
So the more symbolically important thing to me is that Neal and Emma both like that song. This is not background music that the characters don’t hear–it is something they are playing themselves indicating something about their taste in mus

Judging by the promo for 3×12, I think that the Wicked Witch of the West might be the Black Fairy. Although her skin is green, she dresses in all black.

Anyway, they…they wouldn’t spend half an ep hammering in the Hope and then destroy everything without some glimmer of hope, would they? Poor Belle. Poor Neal.
I have faith that Rumple will live. Where/how/in what form are a different set of questions. My own thinking is that Rumple’s “undoing” is not his final death, but rather, the undoing of his dark one cure. The next time we see Rumple, he’ll be a normal man again.
Also, I get the “the boy will be your undoing” was established in the prophesy, and the boy was Peter Pan, not Henry. Yet, WHY is that the case? How does Rumple stabbing his father with his dagger mean his undoing? Is it blood magic?
