I could potentially see Rumple killing his dad in the name self-defense, but just as PP reverts back to Malcolm, he says something similar to what Cora said to Regina as she lay dying: “This would’ve been enough.” Yet, it’ll be too late, and Malcolm will die in Rumple’s arms, just as Cora died in Regina’s arms.

After seeing the sneak peek, I’m sorta hoping for a no. I’m ready for Peter Pan to die now that he’s threatened Rumple and Rumple’s loved ones.

Well there goes my idea that the green smoke is something to do with WWW coming to town. So if that green smoke IS the NewCurse…what’s with the purple smoke we also see in the promo? Does that come from Regina and her lightening hands somehow?

I think the purple smoke scene in the promo was actually reused footage from 1×22 when Rumple brought magic to SB. The difference in coloration is meant to distinguish the dark curse (green) from true love magic (purple).

Papa Rumple will sacrifice himself to save his boy and Belle. For the first time, he’ll do the selfless thing and it’ll be his undoing. Rumple is prepared to die this time, only I think undoing might not mean what Rumple thinks it means.

Peter Pan is the ultimate villain (with the possible exception of Cora without her heart). PP would really kiss his own great-grandson, grandson and son just to have perpetual youth and power? That’s so twisted!

Genie Will was an interesting twist, though I’m not sure I’m in favor to it. It seems like the second part of S1 will be mission to find Will just as the first par of S1 was a mission to save Cyrus. As for where he ends up, I’m thinking he’ll be in SB.

Favorite moments: All of Alice and Cyrus’ interactions! I love those two together!

Least-favorite moment: The instant I realized Will was the genie.

Personally I think Emma will make her decision before the end of season three

Oh, I agree, only I think Emma won’t be ready for Neal until close to the end of S3. I think S1 started off in a very similar way, with Emma not being ready to believe in fairytales, and it ended with Emma fulfilling her destiny as the savior. Now we have Emma once again saying she’s not sure she’s ready to explore her relationship with Neal, but if S3 parallels S1, then by 3×22 , I’m thinking Emma will catch up to Neal in being ready for their happy ending. And then S4 will be about Neal and Emma finding their Tallahassee together. Here is a GIF set which shows this parallel between the pilot and 3×10.

We all know that in the end, Emma has a way of getting to where she needs to be. When S1 started she was no where near ready to being the Savior, but by season’s end she was. Likewise, S2 started with Emma having a lot of trust issues, both from having been abandoned by her parents, but also Neal. Yet, S2 ended with Emma saying she loves Neal, that she realized it the instant she ran into Neal. Tamara was just a wall which could be moved, just as I believe Hook will only be a temporary obstacle. S3 started with Neal awakening from a near-death experience with renewed clarity and with him fighting to get back to Emma and Henry, because they’re all he has. Neal’s goal is to be there for them. Yet, there is the new curse coming, much like there was this curse that Emma had to break in S1. While Emma isn’t sure she ready, I’m all but certain that by the end of S3, Emma will have caught up emotionally to where Neal is at. Part of being right for one another means being ready at the same time, and both of them will then be ready to explore their relationship going forward.

This second part of the season will be very painfull for SF, and from what adam and eddie said before about emma not being prepared to make a choice yet, i see them maybe put CS in the remain on the season and as  in more seasons of the show, and in that case neal could even find another person and would be then that emma would see that she wants neal and not hook(  I do believe that sf is endgame), but will be very painfull to watch, specially with Cs partying about this. I believe emma will only make a choice in the last season of the show and even on the last episode.

According to Adam, we still have NO idea what is going on in the second part of S3, and Emma not making a choice means not choosing Hook over Neal. It means choosing to be alone. So, there could still be a million reasons why Emma and Hook are filming scenes together. He might be helping her with detective work if Charming is for some reason unavailable (e.g he is cursed with amnesia or is in another realm). Even if Emma has chosen to date Hook for the present, I doubt it would last beyond S3. I also don’t think the writers would keep Emma and Neal apart until the final episode ever. They have too much to work through, talk about, and history to explore. Part of seeing Emma and Neal work through their issues is part of the story that Adam and Eddy want to explore. They said so in the 2×21 official podcast: “How do two people who love each other, but who have so much hurt, come together?” (paraphrase). I believe we’ll see Adam an Eddy give us the answer over the next few seasons. It may take awhile, but I think our wait won’t be in vain. And when it does happen, it’ll be that much more satisfying because then Emma will actually be ready, just as Neal is already ready and waiting for her.
