ParticipantThere was a sign that said asylum in the opening scene of 5×12 underneath the revelation marquee.
It did get me wondering if the sign asylum is a clue or hint of something to come. We’ve seen Regina keep her prisoners like Belle and Zelena in the basement of the hospital.
We also saw Alice put in an asylum in OUAT in WL when her father tried to convince her that she was mad for believing in Wonderland. She was on the verge of undergoing therapy to forget Cyrus when Will came and busted her out.
As to what “REVELATION” and “asylum” mean in the greater context, I’m not so sure (unless Emma is really trapped in an asylum the way Alice was). I think that would be too repetitive though.

ParticipantIt looks like the same door but with the cornices removed. I wonder if it still leads to the EF.

ParticipantWe’ve heard mention of the gods since season one. Does anyone else think that the gods in question are indeed the gods of Ancient Greece? It would seem so to me, especially with this half season’s arc of Hades being god of the UW and his brother Zeus being head god of Mount Olympus.

ParticipantPeople will probably have differing opinions for various reasons, but I think they filmed on Powell St. in Vancouver specifically because that is the street they used to film the outside of Neal’s apartment in 2×14.

ParticipantFrom the article:
According to sources, the actor/actress in question has not yet been officially released from his/her contract, which has led some to speculate that the show could be setting up a Buffy-style bait and switch. A well-placed insider, however, maintains, “As it stands now, [redacted] is not returning next season.”
The fact that the actor in question hadn’t been let out of his or her contract when this blind item was written indicates a few things. Assuming the blind item is even about OUAT, the actor might still technically be contracted to ABC/Disney but could return at a later date. However, if the actor has gotten out of the contract since the blind item was written, things don’t look so great and the death could be permanent. Also worth considering is that the blind item might not be about OUAT, since the article specifically said the show was killing off its star. Robin is certainly not the star of OUAT in the way Regina and Emma are, so that doesn’t really make sense. That being said, this is an assemble cast, so I guess any of the main characters could be considered a “star.”

ParticipantYou can spot the front of Neal’s apartment in one of the BTS photos. I think the building on the right with the fire escape is the same building we saw in 2×14.

And this photos below is the wedge building that was in the background when Emma chased Neal.

ParticipantIt’s undoubtably a big oversight. Then again, this is the show that brought us the Marian-is-really-Zelena mother of all retcons.

ParticipantI know. Didn’t they specifically say that the pen couldn’t write dead people back alive and now that is what Cruella is suggesting? Stupid show.
It is confusing. Basically, Cruella said the apprentice lied to Henry.
In 4×22, the apprentice said,
“Not even an author can bring back the dead, no matter how much he might wish it…Your father, Baelfire, died in the real world, and that sadly can never be undone.”
Cruella and Henry then had this convo in 5×13,
Henry: You’re already dead. No one can change that.
Cruella: Actually, one person can: the author. Oh yes, that’s you now.
Henry: No, the apprentice told me it’s impossible.
Creulla: Because he didn’t want you to! But Henry, you can. The author’s power if far greater than that bearded old man wanted you to believe. So either Cruella is lying about the apprentice lying to Henry, or she is telling the truth. As mad as she is, I’m inclined to believe her. What does she gain by lying about it? Nothing. What does she gain by being honest? Potentially everything.

ParticipantI keep wondering if Henry is going to write into the book and these portal doors are going to appear different places and bunch of evil people are going to escape into the real world.
Could be. Henry being the author gives him a lot of power, potentially as much, even arguably more than the sorcerer and apprentice. All he would do is write something into existence, and out it pops.

ParticipantThis street where Henry/Violet are is the same street where Neal, Emma, Henry and Rumple were in 2×14 and 2×15. It’s also decorated as Soho, which is the same neighborhood.
