    1) How does Tamara know anything about the DARK ONE. (because she’s RH and Marian’s daughter OBVIOUSLY!)

YES! She’s heard the quirky fairytale stories from someone. While I don’t want Robin Hood and Marian’s daughter to be all dark and crazy, I think Tamara is operating out of something tragic having happened to them as the result of dark magic. ETA: Though it’s possible Tamara just knew about the Dark One from reading Henry’s book, which Neal showed her.

    2) “Did that last job…” Does that sound like Tamara and Owen sent Hook after Rumple to anyone else?

Hmmm, I think Hook just meant he’s not going to do anymore jobs, since he’s finished his life’s mission of revenge.

    3) Lacey and Rumple. Feelings.

So that’s what that BTS photo was!

    4) Greg is not innocent at all.

Nope. Poor boy lost his marbles when Regina so horribly made him a de facto orphan, whom society probably dubbed crazy for believing in a vanishing town.

Captian Hook: “Actually I prefer it with the light on.”

Haha! Why does that sound so dirty? 😉

Urg, Hook needs to give up.

While I’ve grown tired of Hook’s revenge plot, I’m really excited to see Colin’s beautiful face on my screen again! 😀

Well, she had no need for magic during the Curse years. She had won. Plus, magic didn’t completely disappear. She didn’t bring much with her but there was some, and I’ve often wondered if she used it occasionally for something.
If she finds some way to get her magic back in S3, would she take it? If she still thinks the CharmingStiltskins provide a threat to her happiness and Henry, I can see her trying to get her magic back because her rationale is that she needs it to protect Henry, never mind the fact that it’s only insuring that the wedge between them continues to grow.

Even Regina realized she hadn’t truly “won” because in Welcome to Stroybrooke, she was frustrated that everyone simply did as she said. She wasn’t truly satisfied, because of the giant hole in her heart. As I wrote above, even without magic, Mayor Mills was still full-on crazy with her scheming and manipulating, especially when Emma arrived. Regina separated Owen from Kurt, she lied to Henry and made him feel like he was crazy, she locked Belle and Sidney away in the hospital basement, she put Jefferson under house-arrest, she set Mary Margaret up for a fake murder, she cursed John Doe with fake memories as David Nolan, she killed Sheriff Graham, she tried to get Emma arrested, and she tried to send Ava, Nicolas, and Kathryn over the town boarder, knowing something tragic would happen to them. Eventually, I think you’re right that Regina had some magical trinkets, which she used to retrieve a poison apple to try and curse Emma but instead cursed Henry. While we don’t know how much magic she actually had, but I’m going to estimate not very much. She had to rely on her wits and evil calculating mind to get what she wanted. So, I’m starting to doubt that even without magic, Regina would regain her sanity; magic may fuel her madness, but I think it’s mostly in her head.

Well, she certainly can live without it, since she did for 28 years in SB before Mr. Gold brought magic there. Hmmm, that makes me question whether she’d actually become saner. Even as “magic-less: Mayor Mills, she managed to be pretty full-on crazy. She separated Kurt Flynn and murdered Graham. Yet, I think what you’re getting at is would she be content to live without magic? She may not have a choice though if she’s “zapped’ of her magical ability by GOAT.

During those 28 years nobody else had magic either. Her jones for it would be heightened by seeing others use magic. I think Regina would love to be the only one with magic, just like she wants to be the only one with a happy ending. And yeah, she still did some full-on crazy as Mayor Mills. If she were to get saner it would probably be due more to Henry than not having magic. She got her crap together briefly when he fell under the sleeping curse last year and again when she was first trying to stop Cora from coming to SB. The question is for how long would she keep it together this time?

I’m more inclined to agree. Mayor Mills was just as crazy as Queen Regina. Magic fuels the madness, but the madness doesn’t just go away when the magic does. Perhaps the difference is that Regina had a hole in heart, even when she adopted Henry, so long as the curse was in play. I think when Emma broke the curse, the hole was filled, and Regina was able to love Henry. Maybe without magic, and with Henry’s love, she could regain sanity. It’s a big question mark for me though. I keep wavering back and forth on this one.

😯 Just had a thought! 💡 Maybe GOAT actually manages to steal Regina’s powers without killing her, so she is brought back into balance since she would then be powerless and “normal” again. I think magic is what fuels Regina’s madness, and without it, she might just regain some sanity

Agree. She was a completely normal girl until she got her first taste of magic and realized how much she loved it. She kept at thinking she could not become her mother, but then gave in to it because magic and revenge were so powerful. If they take away her magic AND Henry has been kidnapped this could be the start of her mellowing out. The question then becomes, will she eventually try to get her magic back. Can she really live without it?

Even without magic, Mayor Mills managed to be pretty full-on crazy; she separated Owen Flynn from his dad, Kurt Flynn, she tried to send Ava and Nicolas to Boston, made David Nolan into a yutz, and murdered Graham. Yet, I think what you’re getting at is would she be content to live without magic? She may not have a choice though if she’s “zapped’ of her magical ability by GOAT.

I have to wonder if what finally brings Regina around besides Henry being kidnaped by GOAT is in part the torture Hook (?) administers. Thus far, no one has been able to really hurt her, she always bounces back but if the torture takes her powers then maybe it lessens her evilness.

I do wonder whether they’re going to extend an invitation to Rumple, since he’s not exactly a safe person either, though I think he was more dangerous in FTL for reasons.

He is family now. He’s Henry’s other grandfather, so I don’t think they’ll exclude him. But they may offer him some sort of deal. Or maybe Charming’s favor comes into play: “you can return to us, but you have to protect our family.”

I think that favor will come into play later, and I agree Prince Charming might use it to save his family. Of course, I think by the end, Regina will realize on her own that she can’t kill Henry’s family, because she would forever sever her relationship with Henry. (Even just having that conversation with Henry crossed a dark line). Yet, I think Regina might be willing to lay her differences aside with Emma and the rest of the clan if Henry’s life is at stake and that Tamara is the real danger. We know it is when Tamara and Greg kidnaps Henry to another realm in the finale. Plus, I think Rumple will be prompted to go after Neal, since something tragic happens to him in 2×21.

That’s an interesting debate. The closer Regina got to casting the dark curse, the more Rumple also seemed to descend into madness in his jail cell. Would Rumple even want to go back to the EF? From his perspective, he probably wouldn’t want to go back if Neal and Belle remained in SB. Of course, if SB disappears off the map from Regina triggering the “fail-safe” then Rumple may not have a choice in the matter. Also, from spoiler pictures in the finale, we know Regina and Rumple do in fact end up on Hook's ship, which presumably goes to NL.

Why can’t they just bring her back to the EF where she CAN’T harm them ?

Regina can’t hurt David or Snow there, but she might be able to hurt Emma or even Henry.

    @RumplesGirl wrote:

In regards to Sneak Peek # 4: She just keeps getting worse. It’s almost like Regina has deluded herself into thinking that Snow actually killed King Leopold. Those poor poor poor villagers.

Not only is Snow White’s family paying the price for something Cora did to Regina, but Regina has ordered the massacre of entire villages just because a little girl was once duped by a witch who had murdered her own mother and made poor Snow worried Regina would lose her mother. Regina is seriously pathologically deranged and dangerous. She is a female Stalin, who was responsible for the death of millions of his own citizens.

One more thing about clip 2. Why, oh why, would David and Snow have such a top secret conversation about magic beans, returning to the EF, and leaving behind Regina out in the open instead of at home? I love them, but they really can be really thick. First they let Regina just waltz back into the mayor’s office instead of locking her away, and now they fail at secrecy! For Pete’s sake! Heads-desk

    3) Emma needs to let Mr. Gold know about Tamara asap! He is so on team Swanfire! 😉

Agreed. But I’m wondering if–given where Rumple is mentally—would he care? He would probably say something like “I can take care of myself” like he did in In The Name of the Brother where he “didn’t gave a…”

I think Mr. Gold would care if he thought Neal were in any kind of danger.

So what is she holding in her hands ❓

    some beans, i believe

    1) I don’t think she’s holding beans. Based on a short clip of her in the Evil Queen music video posted on another thread, I think Regina’s holding her mother’s spell book and she’s going to cast a spell on Henry to try and make him go with her. She doesn’t deserve Henry! If she had her own way, she’d murder an entire town (which she does in the flashback parallel, too). She made her own self evil. 👿

ETA: Also, based on this spoiler, I don’t think this is a dream. Regina actually tells Henry that she wants to kill his family.

    2) Does David really believe Regina would willing choose to live out her days in Rumple’s jail cell? That may be where she ultimately would end up if she tried to murder them all, but she would never choose that path, even if the only way to see Henry were from behind bars.

    3) Emma needs to let Mr. Gold know about Tamara asap! He is so on team Swanfire! 😉
