Just throwing this out there but does anybody else think Lacey set that whole thing up? Like she made out with Keith to get Rumple mad and see if that would bring out that dark side she kept hearing about?

Hmmm, interesting. I don’t know enough about Lacey yet, but she does seem a bit like a thrill seeker. She initially found Keith boring and unappealing, and she only went out with Rumple because she’d heard about his dark reputation. Maybe she did just want to draw that out of him by making out with another man. I’m not going to lie. Lacey just seems like party girl who doesn’t care about anything except having a good time, and at other people’s expense.

But is Dr. Whale so vastly different from Victor Frankenstein? Even after the curse lifted, Victor immediately wanted to know whether the nuns could date again. It seems like even when cursed, there is a bit of one’s true self that remains. He was always a bit of a hound dog. So, there is a definite, but not exact, parallel between Dr. Whale and Mary Margaret on the one hand, and Keith and Lacey on the other. That certainly doesn’t mean Keith is right to seduce Lacey, who is cursed, but she is still responsible for her own actions. She doesn’t have to sleep with someone if she doesn’t want to, just as Mary Margaret didn’t have to have a one-night stand with Dr. Whale. Lacey may not be Belle, but she still can decide whether or not to do something.

Belle has an amazing amount of goodness in her heart, much like Snow White had a pure heart. Even after 30 years being locked away, Belle still didn’t want Rumple to retaliate against Regina, which I thought was profoundly good, but perhaps a tad unbelievably so. It reminded me of when Snow White simply banished Regina from the EF rather than having her executed for her reign of terror. Eventually, when Cora and Regina threatened to kill Emma and Prince Charming, Snow White saw it as the last straw and took matters into her own hands to protect her family and herself. Goodness doesn’t have to mean playing meek or letting evil preside. Good people must take a stand against evil and fight for justice to prevail. There is such a thing as righteous justice. In the end, there can really only be two outcomes for Regina and Rumple: either true reform or justice will overcome their darkness, because this is a story about hope and happy endings.

If Lacey ends up spending the night with Keith, it would mirror Mary Margaret sleeping with Dr. Whale. She can always just chalk it up to, “I was cursed!” since she wasn’t her true self. However, I don’t think Lacey will go for Keith after Mr. Gold beat him up. Lacy looked pretty turned on the that disgustingly violent display. 😕

Those events happened after the events of this upcoming episode.

But her plan revolves around a fail-safe that was planted within the curse, which if triggered could wipe Storybrooke off the map

Are you serious? What dark magic is this?

Perhaps the fail-safe is that if Regina deserts SB without any intention of returning there, the town will cease to be.

the Evil Queen asks Rumplestiltskin to transform her into an unrecognizable peasant in order to kill an unsuspecting Snow White,

Hmm. Interesting. Rumple does it knowing Regina will fail to kill SW becuase I’m betting SW will see through it eventually.

Yeah, Rumple is always one step ahead of the game.

No Robin Hood or Maid Marian? I was under the impression they (or at least Robin) would be appearing for the rest of the season.

I think Robin Hood and Maid Marian will come into play the more we find out about Tamara and what drives her — perhaps in the last two episodes and leading into season 3.

As Belle begged Rumple to spare the life of Robin Hood she said, “You are not the kind of man to leave a child fatherless.” IF that child is Robin’s, and that child is Tamara, then she and Neal are connected in more than one way. Besides being engaged in our world, Rumple’s actions would have left Tamara fatherless just as Baelfire was left fatherless by Rumple’s actions. It was Belle’s plea which evoked Rumple’s sense of grief over losing Baelfire that caused him to spare Robin Hood’s life and prevented Tamara from being without a dad (if the baby in question is Tamara). Given the writers’ love of inter-connections between characters, I’m 90% sure the baby is Tamara.

During that scene between Regina and Rumple where they were talking about how his son could not even bring out the good in him. She asked him who will?

Could this be foreshadowing? I always thought that his undoing would be the shedding of his power. Now I think so more than ever.

Now that we know Henry is Rumple’s grandson. Maybe he is able to get through to Rumple because he has no reason to be the dark one. He became the dark one to save his son. He used his powers to find him. Now their together again and Bae is safe. Henry may be able to help him realize that he does need to be the dark one anymore.

Love this idea! Hope it comes true!

Nah it couldn’t be. I think Tamara is just Tamara and wouldn’t the baby be much younger than what she is

Not if Tamara was born in our world. Robin Hood and Marian could be realm-jumpers. It’s been 29 years, and Tamara was not living in a cursed in a town where time was frozen. You’d expect the baby to be the age that Tamara is, which is around 30.

    Another quote from someone

Hey so my parents live in Vancouver and their neighbour was at a dog park where they’ve done Once filming before (I’ve seen pictures of dogs around a ‘Leaving Storybrooke’ sign) and he noticed they were putting in some weird looking plants and when he commented on them the guy told him that the evil queen was going to steal some of the beans, presumably in 2×20.

Interesting. That ties in with my idea that Regina wants to whisk Henry off to another land, just the two of them.
