ParticipantEwwwwww! I dreaded seeing Regina hitting on Owen, the boy whom she wanted to adopt as her son, and that’s exactly what she did! It just sent shivers of disgust down my spine.

Well as Gypsy and TheGoldenKey (I think it’s both of them, sorry if there are more!) have pointed out: Jefferson, Pinocchio, and Peter Pan (Nealfire) are all connected in Disney because the opening of Pinocchio shows three books altogether which are those three stories. So, I would totally buy that Tamara knows of Jefferson if only through a connection with August and Bae.
Yeah, Tamara could very well know Jefferson. There could be a whole slew of realm-jumpers!
I wonder how the Robin Hood story play out with Rumple. Does Rumple kill him for trying to steal his magic? If so, Tamara/Marian/HER could be a path of revenge by finishing what Robin started.
I’d hate to be the one to double cross Rumplestiltskin. Yet, I doubt Robin Hood would be killed off, seeing as he’s such an iconic figure. Perhaps, Robin is entrapped, or maybe he (or she) gets away scott free.
OR there could be no connection but instead their showing two separate stories that have similarities. So while Robin Hood tries to steal magic from Rumple in the EF, a thief tries to steal Belle from Rumple in SB AND Tamara is trying to steal magic in general for some nefarious purpose.
That could simply be the case, seeing as OUAT likes to draw lots of parallels between the modern day and the FTL flashbacks. Yet, I kinda hope Robin Hood and Tamara have a cool connection.
If she’s not a realm jumper like Jefferson, I’ve often wondered if the fairies could move between realms. In my head it doesn’t make sense to have fairies in FTL and fairies in NL (like Tink) without them being connected somehow.
If it turns out Tamara isn’t connected to Robin Hood, then I hope she is a vindictive Tinker Bell who wants to avenge the death of Cinderella’s fairy god-mother.

You’re right, the casting call was put out but we haven’t heard who took that role, nor have we seen any BTS pics of the thief/Robin Hood. Robin Hood didn’t work alone. He had an entire forest of merry men. He also had a lady Marian. But how significant is Robin supposed to be to the overall story? I thought he was just going to be introduced and then never heard from again outside of this interaction with Rumple. {just dawned on me that Robin is also a girls name…but then how did she escape the curse?}
Yeah, I could so see Tamara as a kick-but Maid Marian, a merry woman, or even as a female version of Robin (which is a unisex name). I don’t know how strongly that story would continue to feature, but there is a reason that character is being introduced. Perhaps Tamara somehow made it out of the EF before the curse hit. I’ve long wondered if Tamara is some sort of realm-jumper herself with her own portal. Surely, Jefferson can’t be the only one with a magical hat. We know Dorothy had the ruby slippers that worked as a portal between Oz and our land.

We do hear August’s voiceover ask if (someone) is planning to steal the magic of SB.
And we’re all assuming he’s talking to Tamara because she appears to be talking to him in the scene in the woods, but let’s not forget that Snow finds him too, so she may be taking her grandson’s idea and trying to find a way to get rid of magic herself. I still think Tamara is dodgy, but she’s not necessarily the one wanting to steal the magic.
I just had an idea, which may or may not be correct. Assuming that August IS talking to Tamara in the promo, then her agenda is in fact to steal SB’s magic. Well, remember the casting call for 2×19 Lacey for a thief who steals magic from Rumplestiltskin? What if Tamara and that thief are partners in crime? Or, in a typical OUAT twist, what if Tamara is Robin Hood? So far, I don’t think any actor has been announced for that role yet!

when I said transport, I was thinking like teleporting or something but even, hopping on a train to make sure the phone says she’s in PA vs. NY, sounds silly. Unless she carried two phones – one NY area code and the other, PA.
She wouldn’t have to carry two phones. She would only have one cell phone with PA area code that remains the same when she travels to a different state. She wouldn’t have to make a special trip back to PA just to make it seem like she’s calling from there. No matter where she goes in the US, it will look like she’s calling from PA on her cell phone, even though she makes the call from NY. The cell phone area code doesn’t change to match the city where a call is made; the outgoing cell phone area code is set when it is registered with a plan.

ParticipantUnless Tamara can transport quickly between NY and PA (highly doubtful 🙄 🙄 ) she cannot be HER.
Tamara wouldn’t have to transport quickly between PA and NYC for her area code to remain unchanged. She could have a portable cell phone with a PA area code which she still uses in NY. So even though she was calling from NY, the cell phone area code would still appear like a PA area code. When I moved states, I didn’t bother to change my old cell phone number, so my area code was the same as my old address, rather than my new address. I’m not saying this is or has to be the case for Tamara or HER. But we can’t rule out the possibility of the two being the same woman just because of different area codes.
And Tamara is completely normal. As a video editor, you can make anything look more dramatic than it really is. I’m calling it now they’re totally misleading us
Maybe, but maybe not. The latest post on OUAT’s official FB page makes Tamara seem pretty suspicious.
