After thinking about it, I don’t really see how the hem-length of Belle’s skirt indicates she’s suddenly become rebellious. Sure, her dress is really short here, and a tad immodest, but pre-amnesia Belle wore several above-the knee skirts and dresses. It’s not completley left-field for Belle to display her sex appeal in front of Rumple and when simply out and about town. In fact, we’ve really only seen her in short skirts/dresses in SB before her accident. Maybe she is simply out on a date with Rumple.

I agree there is a lot of potential for great story-telling. While I’m not a fan of love triangles in general, I could see a lot of interesting dynamics between Emma, Hook and Bae (especially if he’s Peter Pan).

Well, since Keith is appearing in this episode and the character description of him is a woman chaser, maybe he is taking Belle on a date and it goes terribly cause he’s not a nice man and for some mysterious reason, Belle’s first instinct is to call Mr. Gold for help.

Do you think Keith could be Gaston? I think Gold happens to be there and she runs into him, probably thinking, there’s that creepy old guy stalking me again.

I don’t think he’s Gaston because Rumple turned Gaston into a rose in Skin Deep.

Yeah, my heart says she’s Wendy, but my head says Alice.

There’s absolutely no way they’d turn Belle into a prostitute, I mean, c’mon, this is Disney. She was just out partying at The Rabbit Hole, that’s all.

Her alternate SB persona was locked in a mental ward cell for 28 years. She doesn’t remember her Belle persona. She’s got no idea who she is, or who she’s supposed to be, she’s gotta start from scratch and totally redefine herself. And she’s been through hell lately. Taking all of that into consideration, it makes sense to me that she’s getting all done up and going out to party at the bar, because real life is a tad overwhelming right now.

It’s a bummer that the pics weren’t of Rumbelle out on the town on a date. The tweet said the scene was “intense”. Looks like Rumple will happen by all, “Belle, what the eff are you wearing? This isn’t you!” and she’ll be all, “Don’t tell me who I am, you creepy old man!” And we’ll all scream, “Belle, why can’t you remember that you love him already, OMG FEELS!!”

Maybe Belle is acting out her delayed adolescence after all those years of confinement. Rumple finds her and has to act as concerned fatherly figure, because that would actually be hilarious IMO.

I’ll guess he’s Robin Hood. I saw some spoiler tweets that seem to confirm Robin was filming.

Here is a filming picture of Regina and Emma. I think filming for 2×19 is currently under way, so I’ll post it here:

So many thoughts about this clip!
    1. Henry tries to call Mr. Gold grandpa, but gets rejected. 😕
    2. Neal said he has more going on in NYC than Emma thought and “it’s complicated.” He’s engaged! Ahhhh!
    3. Killian just dug his hook into Rumple!
    4. Emma just knocked Hook unconscious with an umbrella holder.
    5. Neal knows Hook!
    6. Neal called Mr. Gold “Papa’! 😥

Hopefully, this won’t be too controversial, but I wonder where Regina fits it into SwanFire’s happy ending, if it’s endgame, because I’ve read a lot of endgame stories that just ignore her or have her written off somehow. Just because I can already read all the hate that a SwanFire ending plus Regina’s death ending would cause, I’d rather have an ending where they can all get along with each other, but at the same time I really want Regina to redeem herself and not have the writers do some kind of cop out where she really doesn’t and have her still get a happy ending.

While I risk angering Regina fans, I think she has had numerous chances to earn Henry’s love. She first lost it when she gaslighted Henry by making him believe he was delusional, when all along, he was right about her being the Evil Queen. Though Regina realized how much she loves Henry when she nearly killed him with her poisoned apple and tried to reform when she saved Emma and Snow, I think Cora being back spells as sad ending for Regina. She may reform at the last minute to save Henry from her mother, but it could come at a great personal sacrifice for Regina. If she doesn’t pay with her own life, she may pay by losing Henry forever. What makes it so tragic is that it wasn’t so long ago that she really wanted to reform for Henry’s sake.

Also, I don’t think Regina has any real legal claim to Henry. When Mr. Gold procured Henry for her, I think it was done on the black market of child trafficking. In 1×8 when Regina said Emma had no legal claim to Henry, Mr. Gold tauntingly said, “Now who’s triffling with technicalities?” all the while having a knowing smirk on his face. As a lawyer, Mr. Gold knows that Regina couldn’t keep Henry if there were to be a custody hearing, especially in a town where Regina cursed everyone. Good luck finding a jury of her peers who would be unbiased against her. Everyone in that town, with perhaps the exception of King George and Nurse Ratchet, would have a personal vendetta against Regina. That is why Regina is giving into temptation to use magic to get Henry, which is ironic, because she very astutely said early in episode 2×2 We Are Both that you can’t force someone to love you.

I don’t know how to love very well. I wasn’t capable of it for a very long time, but I know I remember… If you hold onto someone too hard, that doesn’t make them love you. I’m sorry I lied to you. And that I made you feel like I didn’t know who you are. But I want you to be here, because you want to be here. Not because I forced you, and not because of magic. I want to redeem myself. Go get your things.

Now all I see is Regina backpedaling and undoing all of the wonderful things she learned after Emma broke the curse. Of course, it is Cora who is tempting her to resort to evilness, but surely, I thought Regina would be able to see through her mother’s deceit after what Cora did to Daniel. Yet, we see Regina tragically giving into pure evil by plotting mass murder. Mary Margaret was right all along when she said making others miserable won’t make Regina happy and would only leave a huge hole in her heart. I see Regina is miserable, but the solution is not to plot to kill all of Henry’s relatives by controlling the Dark One. If there is anything Regina should’ve realized it’s that Henry is very smart and can see through Regina’s web of lies. He saw through the dark curse and figured out how to break it; Henry’s going to realize it was Regina who put Mr. Gold up to killing everyone. Does Regina truly think she can have Henry by plotting the mass murder of his family? Henry would rather die to protect his loved ones from Regina than see any of them harmed.

Perhaps Regina’s “price” for all of the evil she has done is that she can never have Henry back exclusively, and there is no happy ending for her and Henry. In the end, she may act heroically to protect Henry from Cora, but really, it will have all been her fault in the first place for partnering with a snake like Cora. Though evil isn’t born, it’s made, Regina still had the choice to listen to Cora, again. Maybe if Regina could just learn to let Henry go, which would be an act of great maternal love and sacrifice, Regina could eventually find love again with another man like Killian Jones (he’s just like her) and start a family of her own. But as long as Regina selfishly clings to Henry by plotting to murder his parents/grandparents, she is a lost cause, IMO.
