If she really thought her son would suffer more by having a coward for a father than being fatherless, why didn’t she take Bae with her on Hook’s ship?
Excellent question!
Yes, that is the same question Rumple asked his wife just before he killed her. She said she was miserable being latched to the town coward. She abandoned Baelfire, because he is the reason she was stuck in a miserable marriage. If it hadn’t been for Baelfire, Milha probably wouldn’t have stuck around for as long as she did, but would have left the minute she what Rumple had done to injure himself. She did the minimal job as a mother by making sure her child was raised until the age where he no longer needed full-time childcare. As soon as she met Hook, however, she didn’t blink twice about abandoning her husband and son.

ParticipantYou never know with this show or these writers. I agree the little girl’s voice sounded a lot more digitally augmented than the older seer’s voice did, but I don’t know if it sounded like Keegan’s voice or not. Maybe they blended the little girl’s voice with the older actresses to reveal the future and the present simultaneously. However, if the BF did disguise herself as the seer, then it’d be really a great ploy. I didn’t know they had digitally edited the White Wizard’s voice in LOTR. That’s a really cool piece of movie trivia.

ParticipantHow did August know Neal is Baelfire? It must’ve been a little fairy who told him. 😉

I’m losing my mind right now that one of my fave crackpot theories might actually turn out to be true. God help them if they’re misleading us! Ever since the moment Bae went through the beanhole, I thought he’d gone to Neverland. If this actually happens, I’ll be beside myself. 😆
Hands over a paper bag. Breath deeply.
Seriously, I know! How much can we take (in a good way)? First, Neal IS Bae and now could be Peter Pan!

I still don’t think Bae’s “Peter”. I think he might know Peter, though. K&H said we won’t see Peter this season. Maybe Bae leads us to seeing Peter next season.
Well, we may not see Peter Pan in S2, but that doesn’t man we haven’t already met him (aka Baelfire = grown-up Peter Pan). After all, Baelfire said it’s a long story, which I’m thinking Eddy and Adam want to tell in a big reveal style next season. 😀

What if it’s NOT Henry. The seer wasn’t specific, just like she was vague on the details the first time around. It’s possible that it’s not Henry.
Well, the seer did say it was the boy who would lead Rumple back to Baelfire. From what we’ve seen so far, it was Henry who lead Emma back to SB, and she eventually lead Rumple back to his son. However, it would be an interesting twist if it were August who would lead to Rumple’s undoing, since he could be the one to have brought baby Henry to SB in the first place, which set in motion Emma coming 10 years later to break the dark curse. Plus, there're spoiler images of August turning back into a boy in 2×19.

ParticipantMRJ as Baelfire was rocking those blue cotton socks off of Rumple! I cannot wait for more of the father-son dynamic!

It may not be literal. I think it means the boy(henry) will be responsible for the undoing of his curse as the dark one, or something along those lines…. I think that’s what the “separate from what can be to what will be” line may have meant.
Excellent point! If Rumple learned anything from the seer, hopefully it’s to separate the “will-be’s” from the “can-be’s.” When he heard that his son would be fatherless, Rumple assumed it’d be from his own death on the battlefield and so injured himself, which as we known set into motion Rumple becoming the Dark One and him losing Baelfire. The wording “undoing” could be a happy fate, rather than a sad fate, if like you theorized, Henry could lead to the undoing of the Dark One’s curse, rather than Rumple’s death.
