    Here’s some more spoiler information:

Once Upon a Time | ‘Manhattan” — IMO, it’s the best hour of the season and one of the strongest since the pilot. And while some of you believe to have the mystery of Rumplestiltskin’s son all figured out, I shall relate a lesson Bae’s dad is about to learn from a sneaky seer: Just because you know what’s going to happen doesn’t mean you know what’s going to happen. I relayed a couple scooplets in Ask Ausiello, but here are more: Hook proves adept at translating treasure maps but less so at fending off witchy women; David and Mary Margaret have a rather hilarious conversation about their family tree and what Thanksgiving dinner might look like this year; a three-month-old mystery is solved; Cora, sporting a modern-day Maine makeover, has a tender talk with Regina; and a grim fate is surprisingly revealed for a major character. Also: There’s some terrific work by both Robert Carlyle and Jennifer Morrison. http://tvline.com/2013/02/14/once-upon-time-svu-teen-wolf-community-spoilers/

New pictures confirm that August does indeed become a little boy again.

I like the idea that this is the ONLY way to save August and that it’s specific to him. A lot of people on tumblr are freaking out that now it can be done to any and all of the characters, but let’s keep in mind that this is probably August’s wish. Baelfire and/or Emma won’t take this same option. I think it’s actually a very intriguing plot development which raises all sorts of questions like, if you could start your life all over again, would you? Sure, Emma and Bae have had a lot of pain to deal with, but they also found love with each other and had Henry. There are lots of very interesting thoughts that come from this.

many would think that Geppetto doesn’t deserve to get those years back with Pinocchio either. Geppetto caught a fair bit of hate for the business with putting Pinocchio through the tree, so I can see all of those fans being very annoyed if he gets to go back to the start and have the life he always wanted with his son.

Despite the Charmings’ pain over having missed out on Emma’s childhood, they’re not the types to hold it against Geppetto and would still want him to have his happiness with Pinocchio.

The Charmings might not hold a grudge against Geppetto, but I daresay a lot of fans do, judging by comments I read after that ep aired. Poor guy copped a decent amount of hate. So I can see all of those fans being none too pleased if Geppetto gets his 2nd chance with his son. So the people who love August will hate that he’s not around any more, and the people who don’t love Geppetto will hate the plot point too. That’s a whole lotta fanbase they could potentially get offside if they make Pinocchio a kid again. I’ll reserve final judgement until I see what actually happens and how it’s done, but as of right now, I’m somehwat apprehensive.

I know a lot of fans may not like this development, but I can’t hold it against Geppetto for wanting to save his son the way the Charmings wanted to save Emma. And a lot of fans who love Robert Carlyle and Lana Parilla don’t hate Rumple for destroying almost all of the EF so he could find Baelfire or Regina for gaslighting Henry so she could keep the dark curse in tact. If fans can forgive these villains for their horrible, earth-shattering deeds, I’d hope the fan base could forgive Geppetto for telling a lie protect his son.

The first season’s rating were good but not extraordinary. Now were in the second season and it does not seem to improve, in fact it’s getting worst and worst every episode. 7 million viewers is not enough to keep the show afloat. could we be watching the last season of Once Upon a Time?

I don’t think so. Last Sunday was the Grammys, and the week before was the Superbowl. “Tiny” wasn’t the most compelling storyline, but I think the series will pick up a lot of viewers in this week’s “Manhattan.”

Excellent point. Perhaps the EF was going to be destroyed ANYWAY, so the only way that the BF saw to save everyone’s life was to bring them to another land en masse.

I love how one cryptic spoiler about a “chilling flashback” sends us all reeling with tangental, off-the-wall theories about the BF. It’d actually be hilarious if by the end of the series, the BF is actually blameless.

Unfortunately I questioned whether Neal was her end game romance when they did not make MRJ a regular. Which really bites since they went out of their way to make it such a wonderful romance in Tallahassee but then they are going to make Milah and Rumple’s seem good as well. Well at least I’m prepared for disappointment…that’s why I check out spoilers…to brace myself.

The actress that plays Tamara is also on The Walking Dead…maybe I’ll get lucky and see her eaten by a zombie 😈 lol or I’ll just imagine that every time I see her on screen with Neal.

I’m trying so hard to not hate this lady we know almost nothing about. lol.
Well on the SwanFire front: I think having Henry be such a major character means they are going to try to keep SwanFire together. No moral judgement here, but on a show that is trying to be “family friendly” I think they happily ever after for Henry is to have his parents together, in FTL, having adventures.

Yeah, all of that is Henry’s Happily Ever After (HEA), which I think will align with Emma’s and Neal’s HEA. Plus, as has been pointed out in other threads, Emma is the product of true love, as were her parents. As we’ve seen from 2×6, Henry is the product of true love. I think that has always been the end game for the savior of the curse to end up with the reason for the curse. It’s just such a nice parallel and a beautiful narrative arch.

Unless Tamara is Tinkerbell and Neal is Peter Pan, then that might explain their closeness. Or maybe not even Tinkerbell, because I think that might be the BF, but another fairy dispatched by the BF to keep an eye on NealFire Pan. If Emma and Neal aren’t supposed to be together as a True Love couple…then WHO is she supposed to be with?? Forgive me CaptainSwaners, but I really don’t see her with Hook. I think they can flirt and there are similarities, but she is clearly supposed to be with Neal.

I’m gonna join that Nealfire prayer circle with hopes that Tamara is just NealFire Pans’ good fairy friend, and nothing more.

As for Neal running…might not be her voice that tipped him…like Gold tells Henry later…his son is adept at running…as much as Emma knows how to spot someone who is hiding…Neal probably knows how to recognize when he’s being tracked.

Based on this spoiler tweet, I’d say Baelfire has been on the run long before Emma ever buzzed his intercom. He is running not from her but from his father. Also, Baelfire is a thief and on the wrong side of the law. He always has to watch his back and be hyper vigilant. If someone shows up unannounced at his door, he’s not going to stick around for very long. I posted a theory here about my thoughts on the matter: https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=84&t=2806&start=10#p38542

Then again he stayed away from Emma and Storybrook for some reason or another…I guess it could be Emma just as well as Gold. I think I am dreading this episode as much as looking forward to it…really still haven’t recovered from the events in The Outsider and In the Name of the Brother and now another emotional nail biter…I’ll probably be looking for that funny line from Charming as much as anything else just so I can make it through

I think the reason Neal stayed away from SB isn’t so much because of Emma. I think it’s because he wanted to avoid a run-in with his dear papa.

Ever since the blue fairy made this look while Baelfire looked down after being given the bean

I’ve been suspicious of her true motives. I think it would be interesting for Rumple to realize that he himself was a pawn too. Good theories!

The BF does have a devious look on her face when she gives Baelfire “the last bean” in the EF. I have wondered in the back of my mind ever since The Return, exactly what her intentions are. She and August seem to have a pretty tight bond, so maybe he’s been her lackey on this side of SB ever since. Yet, I’m also inclined to believe Eddy and Adam would never outright lie to us about her being a protagonist. She may have a very utilitarian view of things (e.g. keeping Nova and Grumpy apart for the “great good” of the EF), but I don’t think that makes her evil. Perhaps, as Phee suggested, however, her good intentions have led her to justify her manipulations as being for a greater cause, which we interpret as being outlandish now, but we’ve yet to see how they play out further down the road. Maybe she feared for the future of the EF and she needed a way to save everyone by bringing them to another realm. Eddy and Adam are certainly setting the story up to have a longer running time than just 2 seasons. I think the “chilling reveal” could be that the BF disguised herself as the seer and then gave Rumplestiltskin a cryptic prophesy which ultimately led him to becoming the dark one, to lose his son, and to create the dark curse to bring everyone from the EF to SB.

Looks like Tamara and Neal (Sonequa Martin-Green & Michael Raymond-James, respectively) are standing together in SB. Maybe they’re an item after all. 😮

So Neal isn’t even aware that his father is there yet, he just heard Emma’s voice and that made him run. Oh, my heart!

If you’re gonna make a treasure map, even if it’s not an obvious one, why keep it in such a public place?

Yep, I’m thinking it’s a trap (perhaps set by Cora herself for Hook). I mean pirate = treasure map, is way too obvious.

Why on earth would Rumple leave a map, even a cryptic one, concerning the location of his dagger in such an obvious place as Belle’s library? Why does he even need a map? Surely, it must be some kind of trap to mislead anyone.

Nealfire is on the run. I cannot help but think there is more than meets the eye to his character. Sure, he’s Neal and Henry’s dad, but there is something more to that story.

I completely agree with your first point. We all know Rumple has trouble trusting people. He couldn’t event tell Belle how Milah died event though she said that he could tell her anything. That just seems far to unlikely.

Yeah, I think Cora and Regina are playing Hook. Why on earth would Rumple have a map in an obvious spot leading someone right to his dagger? I mean, that was WAY too easy for Cora to just conveniently find a treasure map of all things. She knows Hook can’t resist going after Rumple and he’s a pirate! He knows just how to read maps, like he said.

Did Neal recognize Emma’s voice? Or did he see them from his window?

I have a feeling he might’ve been running from someone else before Emma, Gold and Henry ever even showed up, and he wasn’t going to wait around to find out who it’d be. Emma was able to identify his apartment, because he was someone who obviously didn’t want to be found, which was even more obvious then if he’d used a fake name plate on the apartment buzzer.
