ParticipantMorgana is a good theory.

ParticipantI wonder what that family dynamic will be like. I imagine that the father favors Gerhardt and will be grief-stricken over the loss of his younger son, in which case Dr. Whale will feel the need to bring his younger brother back to life to win his father’s approval.

Yeah, something like that would certainly fit given that it’s gonna be about Victor’s family. Makes you wonder a bit about Victor’s relationship with his father, if they’ve switch up that quote for the title and put “brother” where you’d usually see “father”.
Interesting. Gerhardt is Dr. Whale’s younger brother. Perhaps they had a very close bond, in which Gerhardt revered his older brother, Victor, as a father-figure. Perhaps Dr. Whale’s brother died in battle, and Dr. Whale mourned him so much that he dedicated his professional life to finding a way to bring him back to life. We’re also supposed to meet Dr. Whale’s father, so it’d be interesting to see that interaction to know what kind of father-son dynamic they have.

ParticipantThere's a new spoiler that Hook will be targeting Belle to get the attention of Mr. Gold, which supports the notion of Belle being Rumple's weakness.
You may think that once he drops anchor in Storybrooke, Hook might not have any friends in town. But thing again. Remember, the henchman Belle’s florist father hired was no less than Smee (played by Eureka‘s Christopher Gauthier), who is due to return after the holiday hiatus. “Smee will definitely play a part in Hook’s plans,” Colin O’Donoghue assured me. Speaking of the sidekick’s previous target, could Belle land in Hook’s hooks, as a way of getting back at his mortal foe Rumplestiltskin? “Belle is such a huge part of Rumple’s life…,” O’Donoghue agreed. “She might figure into the equation.”http://tvline.com/2012/12/06/supernatural-once-upon-time-spoilers/

Now if we only had some indication about where he’ll be filming…usually he’ll tweet when he’s on his way to Vancouver. 😆
I really want to know if he’ll make it to Storybrooke on his own, or if someone has to drag him there.
Unless Emma has to travel outside SB to find a certain someone. 🙂 Since we saw a clip for the promo for 2×10 of Mr. Gold calling upon that favor Emma owes him to find his son, I wonder how she’s going to do that. Maybe she’ll use the “tracking spell” we saw David use to find Jefferson. She sprinkles the potion on Baelfire’s ball we saw Mr. Gold has in his shop, she gets in her car to follow it, and pulls up outside of Neal’s building in NYC! Emma’s bottom jaw hits the ground as she wonders why on earth Bae’s ball led her to Neal. *Cue dramatic, emotional stringed instruments*
slurpeez108: And on what may or may note be a related note, I also hope we’ll get to see more of Dylan. Not necessarily in FTL, but post-portal. I know this show is packed as it is (and getting more crowded!) but I really want them to flesh out the Bae storyline. But that’s just me.
Yes! I would love to see a flash-back to what happened to young Baelfire in the same episode we see Emma meet up with Neal. 🙂

There are behind-the-scenes photos of Colin dressed in normal clothes, without the eyeliner, on set in Storybrooke. I think he just washes his face and puts on normal clothes to fall in with the Charmings & Co. I’d consider that group of people righteous.
Yeah, that scenario could definitely be the case; it’d certainly be the most obvious. I was just going for a bit of a more outlandish theory that fits the second part of the description as “shocking,” “exciting” and “not what you’d expect” when I suggested that Hook impersonates a nun. But certainly, Colin could just be wearing normal, modern duds and playing Mr. Nice with Emma. I just have my doubts that Emma would fall for Killian acting all repentant for leaving her in the cell unless she allows her emotions to cloud her judgement (in which case I think Charming might try and act all fatherly to protect his daughter). However, Colin said, “Hook hasn’t had a huge interaction with many of the other characters,” which could mean Hook is laying low in a convent for awhile until he finds that dagger to try and kill Rumple.
Of course, Rumple may find Hook first, in which case Hook will have to defend himself. Colin also said that Hook’s ship is enchanted so that it can’t be seen or doesn’t appear as a pirate ship. Yet, maybe as the dark one, Mr. Gold is impervious to that sort of magic trick and so can easily spy Hook’s ship. There was that brief clip of Mr. Gold confronting and then beating Hook aboard his ship in the SB harbor, but the clip could be from a future episode other than 2×10.

Going back to this…
When I spoke to Colin O’Donoghue last week, he said that through episodes filmed to date, “Hook hasn’t had a huge interaction with many of the other characters” — possibly because he falls in with the wrong (meaning a righteous) crowd upon setting boot in the Maine burg.
There’s a post in the main forum that mentions a tweet between Colin and the hair/makeup people that said something like “the pirate has left the building.” In that thread, bec mentioned…
@bec wrote:Maybe that means that Hook is no longer a pirate since he is now in SB. Maybe now he has changed to fit in- as in changing his clothes etc.
…which led me back to wondering about this spoiler about him falling in with a certain bunch of people, and our speculation about him looking different to fit in.
Interesting tweet. Maybe Colin will have to blend in, but I assumed they’d hire a different actress to fill-in for him if that theory came true. Maybe we won’t see Colin again for an episode or two.

I don’t think Colin is going anywhere anytime soon since he was promoted to series regular for last 9 episodes of S2. http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/10/03/colin-odonoghue-hook/"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. Oh he definitely let her win and this episode was just filled with hints..I think our ship is sailing better than ever
He called her magical and full of hope (yes he said he was done with her but that means there was something there to begin with and honestly the bean came back to life, so basically his feelings for Emma? so not done!)
He looked really hurt at the whole Emma leaving him on the beanstalk (and emma looked guilty)
He let her win that swordfight (and i’m sorry but that just filled with innuendo and flirting)
He told her he wouldn’t have betrayed her
there's also eddy's comment's from the official podcast
dont forget we've been told she'll be a distraction for his revenge, and jennifer's comments about emma being aggressively pursued, plus meghan's comment about captain swanWe have to have faith, they won’t happen quickly they will be slowly built up (and that’s the best part)
What was the spoiler from Meghan Ory about Captain Swan?
I think there’s always going to be great chemistry between Emma and Killian, as evidenced by that sword play. Maybe Hook even threw that fight so Emma could escape. However, I must admit I’m less enthusiastic about him as a real prospect for Emma now. He seemed to leave Emma high and dry to rot in that cell, despite her pleas for her son, all for his code of revenge. The fact that he hit Belle and would’ve killed her for being useless to him is just unacceptable. It shows a tendency towards violence against women, which I never condone. (Neither do I condone when Rumple threw Belle in the dungeon). Emma deserves someone who is going to treat her like the princess she is. As much as I love the clear chemistry between Hook and Emma, Neal is probably the best choice for Emma. Neal and Emma shared true love and he’s the father of her child. Neal only left Emma reluctantly so she could fulfill her destiny, and I think he never would’ve if he’d known there were a baby on the way. I bet he’s going to really love Henry when he finds out he’s a dad."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it."
