ParticipantI for one would be very disappointed if we never see Neverland on this show. Yet, I think we’ll at least catch a glimpse of it sometime in S2, since Peter Pan is Edward Kitsis’ favorite fairytale.

ParticipantSince magic always comes with a price, I think being stranded in SB will be the price that Rumpel has to pay for bringing magic to SB. I also think the only way anyone who was cursed will be able to leave SB is if/when Rumpel is no longer the Dark One, and as a result, no longer can do magic. If he no longer can do magic, maybe he’ll be released from paying a high price.

ParticipantThere’s a chance Mr. Gold/Rumpel would still win, despite his limp, since he can still wield powerful magic (as demonstrated when he rescued Belle in 2×4). I think magic was the main reason the Dark Rumpel won in the EF, and since magic is back, Mr. Gold could probably win if Hook came to SB. However, if Hook has figured out he can control the Dark One by stealing his dagger, than Rumpel is going to be in serious danger.

ParticipantI completely second the motion to impeach D.A. Decker/King George!
Even though Charming/David is a humble shepherd by birth, he married a royal princess, which makes him a prince regent. Regina had no real claim to throne except by marriage, and she is a traitor for organizing the murder of her husband, King Leopold. So, since Charming is in fact a regent king/prince by marrying Snow, the rightful heiress to King Leopold’s kingdom, he certainly has a claim to rule. Plus, as said above, SB is located in US, where it doesn’t matter one iota what class you come from, so long as you’re a good leader. If anything, I predict DA Decker will be deposed and Charming will be elected as acting sheriff. He is beloved by all and would win by a land-slide.

ParticipantHere is the general outline – Some point in the future the book is written. Each story will be written by those characters in those particular stories. The stories will be bound together into a book (with the help of August), and then the book will be transported into StoryBrook’s past (with the help of Jefferson, or by some other form of magic), to be received by Mary Margret in the past.
That’s really creative. One question remains though. Does the book show what happens AFTER Emma comes to Storybrooke? If the residents of SB wrote down their stories and then transported the book to the past, one would expect adult Emma’s story as fulfilling Rumpel’s prophesy to be recorded on the pages of the book. It would have been a lot easier for Emma to believe if she’d read what happens in the book. Also, now that the curse is broken and Rumpel has brought magic to SB, one would expect there to be a solution about how to leave the town recorded in the book, like a log of the town’s history, and not just their previous lives in the EF.

It isn’t made explicitly clear whether Rumpel’s full backstory is in the book, but it’s safe to assume he’s at least mentioned as a character. As said above, there is a scene in the pilot (and it’s most definitely in Henry’s book) in which Snow White and Prince Charming go to Rumpelstiltkin, who says their unborn child will return on her 28th birthday, break the curse, and the final battle will begin."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. ParticipantI have the same nagging hunch that Cora and Hook are indeed in cahoots and plotting to get to SB to enact their revenge against Rumpel and Regina. It’s epic but very scary stuff.

ParticipantAt the end of 2×4, we saw Hook looking ominously through his telescope at the “safe haven” in present-day EF, where Cora joins him. In the synopsis for 2×5, it says Emma questions the identity of a lone survivor of the so-called “Ogre massacre,” who is Hook in the episode stills. After watching the Canadian promo, I have a very horrible feeling about the so-called “Ogre massacre.” There is a dialog in which Snow White says the bodies of the victims on the island have had their hearts torn out, and that the evil magic is Cora’s doing! Evil Cora and Hook must be collecting hearts to control some kind of army! 👿 Spoilers for 2×8 indicate we may see zombies of some kind, who could be Cora's heartless victims. Yikes!

ParticipantI like the dreams theory. Mr. Gold said to Graham in 2×7: “They say that dreams are memories, memories of another life.”
Regarding Henry’s book in particular, I think it’s most probable that the Blue Fairy is its author. She’d be in a very unique position to observe all the fairy-tales since she doesn’t age, and she sees things from the sky. She knows the wishes of all the EF characters. She knows all about portals to other worlds, since she knew about magical beans and enchanted trees. I also have a strong feeling that August/Pinocchio knows the author of the book quite well, since we saw he knew how to add his story to Henry’s book in a very precise, technical way. August and the Blue Fairy know each other quite well. (And I think they may have collaborated to bring baby Henry to SB).
Another possibility is that a realm-jumping author collected the stories and then brought the collection of stories to our realm. While I’m not sure if Jefferson could be the book’s author, he did know a lot about stories. There’s that little dialog he had with Emma in 1×17:
Jefferson: What’s a story? When you were in high school, did you learn about the Civil War?
Emma: Yeah, of course.
Jefferson: How? Did you read it per chance in a book? How is that any less real than any other book?
Emma: History books are based on history.
Jefferson: And story books are based on what? Imagination? Where does that comes from? It has to come from somewhere. You know what the issue is with this world? Everyone wants some magical solution to their problem, and everyone refuses to believe in magic. He knew about about all the different words, because he’s actually been there via his hat. Also, since he kept his true identity the entire time, Jefferson may even have given the book to Mary Margaret, in the hope that she’d give it to Henry, who in turn would contact Emma, the savior mentioned in the book. I also think that Jefferson and August are connected, since there were episode still from 1×17 of them outside Jefferson’s house. Unfortunately, that scene got cut. Jefferson and August were sort of confronting each other, which makes me think they know each other.
