Yeah, Emma’s bug isn’t Herbie. The executive-producers were most likely just joking, as you said, hjbau. Jennifer Morrison recently clarified this for us, so we can be pretty sure her bug being in the title sequence is just an indicator that 2×6 is Emma’s backstory (the way that the motorcycle in The Return was an indicator for August).
Are we going to see any Emma flashbacks or looks into her past the way we saw with the fairytale characters last year?
Jennifer Morrison: Yes, and actually it was so funny because at Comic-Con, we teased those opening sequences with those characters in the mist, and we showed a yellow bug and people thought that meant that the bug was a character, but it was actually that they were implying that we were going to flash back to Emmaâs life. It was their way of symbolizing that. Itâs been really exciting and itâs really fun because weâve now done an episode where we really do get to see Emma 10 years ago and see the differences between what was going on in her life then and whatâs going on in her life now and whatâs changed for her physically and emotionally. We sort of see the roots of where this all came from for her.

Evil fairy dust can only come from an evil fairy, whom I think could be Maleficent. In the Disney version of Sleeping Beauty, that was what she was referred to as, so that’s my best guest.

Screen-cap is just short for screen-capture. I didn’t create these screen-caps, since the website I got them from isn’t mine. I literally just cut and pasted the image links into this forum. I have no idea how to get images directly from a youtube video. However, if you really want to know how to take an image of what’s on your screen, and you have a mac, the keyboard command is: command+shift+3 and if you want to select a particular image, it’s: command+shift+4. It’s okay for taking images of still pictures on your screen, but not great for capturing images from a video. You have to pause the video where you want it and then do the command.
