ParticipantWho’s gonna be under that executioner’s hood, coz I doubt it’s actually the executioner. Unless that’s the moment when Regina comes striding in to interrupt proceedings at the last moment?
It occurs to me that perhaps Snow White disguised herself as the executioner. At the last moment, she’ll pop out and defend her man as her companions storm the castle.

ParticipantI agree that the likeliest candidate is Maleficent, since the actress who plays her is listed in the credits for the season finale. Also, Maleficient has unfinished business with Regina, since she tried to dissuade Regina from enacting the dark curse in the first place. Another major show-down would be awesome.

ParticipantPresumably, Regina kept Belle as a hostage in FTL (episode 12) before she made a deal with Rumpelstiltskin about the dark curse (episode 2). She didn’t realize that he would keep his memories of FTL when he came to SB. So, she thought the “please clause” would pretty much be null and void. Regina wasn’t banking on Rumpel actually remembering his FTL identity or that he’d be able to get whatever he wants just by saying the magic word “please.” That is Mr. Gold’s trump card. I think that if Mr. Gold ever finds out that Regina has Belle in SB, he could very well use the please clause. He would have to be very careful in his wording to specify that Regina hand over Belle unharmed and alive. Another possibility is that Mr. Gold could call upon Emma to retrieve Belle as the favor that she owes him.

ParticipantI agree that Emma is the “biggest skeptic who becomes a true believer.” She has been showing signs that she is starting to believe, but is resisting that belief because she doesn’t want the responsibility of saving everyone in SB. Also, based on another spoiler, we know that MM and David are going to remember their true fairy-tale identities by the finale. I think they will play an important role in convincing Emma that she is their daughter and the “savior” of FTL. Also, since it appears like Emma is going to believe in the curse this season, I like the theory that she will visit FTL next season. I think she will have to learn how to beat the curse. Even if Regina dies by the end of this season, there could be deeper issues that perpetuate the curse. That would be a huge “game-changer” that has been hinted out by the OUAT creators, writers, and actors.
I also agree that Henry won’t really be dead. I think that he is going to intentionally eat one of Regina’s poisoned apples meant for Emma in order for her to save him and believe. That will send him into a sleep resembling death until true love’s kiss awakens him, only in this case it will be Emma’s true-love kiss as a mother that awakens him. We know that Regina traded the dark curse for Maleficent’s sleeping curse, which I think Regina will use on Snow White when she bites into the poisoned apple. Snow White doesn’t really die either, but simply falls under a sleeping spell from which she will be awakened by Prince Charming. I think that there will be a nice parallel between SB and FTL in the remaining two episodes.

ParticipantI'm calling that Regina will try to poison Snow White in FTL and Emma in SB. I'm also calling that Henry will intercept the apple before Emma can eat it and fall into a sleep that appears like death.

ParticipantActually, it was Prince Charming who threw the sword at Regina on his and Snow’s wedding day.

Participantcooldudette wrote:Either ways, what is the point of Emma believing in the FTL book? What does he gain by that? Is it Regina’s destruction? But it doesn’t fit in with his scheme of things??
Rumpel/Mr. Gold has plenty of reasons to desire Regina’s ultimate destruction. It was hinted in episode 18 that Regina’s mother, Cora, is the miller’s daughter from the original Rumpelstiltskin fairy-tale. If that’s true, then presumably Regina is the baby that got away. The miller’s daughter was able to keep her child by guessing Rumpel’s name. So, perhaps Rumpel is taking his revenge on Cora out on her daughter, Regina. Also, Rumpel/Mr. Gold thinks that Regina is to blame for Belle’s supposed death in FTL. He doesn’t realize that Belle is still alive in SB, and when he finds out Belle is being kept in a mental ward, Mr. Gold is going to have serious rage against Regina. So, Mr. Gold has plenty of reason to hate Regina if he thinks she is responsible for Belle dying.

ParticipantSo, it appears like Regina does commission Jefferson to return to FTL to retrieve a poisoned apple to use against Emma. Seems like Regina uses his daughter as leverage over Jefferson, although it’s hard to believe that Jefferson would fall for Regina’s trickery again. I suppose love of his child is enough motivation to make even a sane person, let alone a mad one, go to extremes.
Also, I found the scene of the fairies in their tutus conducting an air raid to be hilarious! 😆

Participant“Um, Red, you have someone on your cheek.” Not sure whether or not to laugh at something so morbid but that was a well delivered line.
