ParticipantI’m really intrigued by the theory of the apple tree being Regina’s love interest (aka the Stable Boy, Daniel). I had always assumed the apple tree was just a metaphor for Regina herself. I have no idea if the tree really is or not, but it’s food for thought. Maybe Regina's mom cursed the Stable Boy when she found out he and young Regina were romantically involved. I also don’t know why it couldn’t be restored, if it really is her long lost love. Perhaps because trees don’t have lips? I’m reminded of the scene from Enchanted when cartoon Giselle says her prince must have lips because they’re the only things that touch for true love’s kiss. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Vr8wU4aUsM It’s a bit of a silly theory, but still…

Participant@hjbau: Didn’t the Mad Hatter say he lived alone to Emma in one of the spoilers? She remarked on the size of his house and how he must have a huge family. But, he said it was just him living there. That makes me question where his daughter would be in SB. In an orphanage? But then, we know there isn’t a foster care system in SB, based on what we know from ep. 9. Could Jefferson’s daughter be living with other relatives? Could it be she was trapped in Wonderland the entire time, but will be free to come to SB by the end of the episode?
@sjm: I still don’t think Regina would put Jefferson up to the kidnappings, simply because she wouldn’t want to risk him talking about FTL being real, especially to Emma. I think Regina suspects who Emma is based on her questioning Mr. Gold in episode 4 when he said “I think you know who she is” or something similar. Based on the episode description, Regina also seems to know all about the Mad Hatter being a powerful man of magic who can travel between Wonderland and FTL. I don’t think Regina would want someone as powerful as that interacting with Emma too much."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. ParticipantNot only are Belle and the Huntsman making an appearance, but it seems like so is the elusive Dr. Whale. The actor who plays him posted that he had wrapped up filming on the same day when the finale was filmed.
Perhaps Dr. Whale is going to be a sinister doctor in charge of treating Belle in SB. Yet, we still have to wait until season 2 to find out his FTL identity."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

Again this is fourm post in another site.. that has a possible picture of Pinocchio in storybrooke eliminating the pinochio theoryI believe that is a behind-the-sceens photo of Pinocchio in FTL. The only reason he’s wearing a modern-day coat is because it was cold outside the day of filming. If you look at his hat and clothes underneath though, it seems like those are part of the Pinocchio costume in FTL. Click to see images:
Also, the actor is dressed in the same Pinocchio costume that the puppet is wearing when Geppetto finds it, which is certainly placing it in the FTL back-story."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. ParticipantI wonder if the fairies take Bae from Rumple as the price Rumple pays for becoming the Dark One. I’d be really sad if Rumple kills Bae. 🙁

ParticipantEmma Swan = Alice in Wonderland
Perhaps Emma is a metaphoric Alice in the sense that she is a character from another realm stuck in this unfamiliar world. There is a decal of a white rabbit on the rear window of Emma’s yellow bug. Perhaps that is meant to symbolize her going “down the rabbit hole” as she arrives in SB.
Emma’s car decal is a white rabbit.
As Emma is about to leave Storybrooke, she crashes her car and we see the book flip to a page with a catterpillar and Alice.
There is a white rabbit logo in the bar scene of Cinders, Ruby, & MM
The same white rabbit logo appears on the outside of the bar."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

Participant@rumplegoldfan: I like that idea of Emma being the exception to the rule.

I don’t recall Rumple ever saying anything about Emma’s superpowers. What I recall is both Jennifer Morrison (who plays Emma) and the show’s creators commenting that Emma couldn’t tell Sidney Glass was lying because her emotions clouded her judgement.
Based on that, it’s possible that Rumple allowed his foresight to be clouded by his emotions. We just don’t know enough about his powers though to be certain. For example, how did both Rumple and Snow White know she was expecting a baby girl? Was there sonogram technology in FTL (joke)?
