II. Rumple was the one that made the prophecy. How reliable is he? I hate asking this question, because honestly I hope what we were told is the truth. And he tends to make good on his deals. But we don’t know exactly how much information he witheld etc. And what he said could be true, but not until the endgame.
I’ve said before in a Rumpel-centric thread that Rumpel actually is a pretty honest character. From what I’ve seen, Rumpel hasn’t lied to anyone (except maybe himself). He may not be open with what he knows, he may not share the whole truth, but he doesnot outright lie.
Agreed. Basically I just wonder how much information he’s withheld or not said. I believe everything he says is true, but I also think we are assuming everything he’s said is the full picture. Basically I don’t think the curse is fully broken and there is more to the Emma prophecy.
I get why people are worried. But I also think people are forgetting the other part of the prophecy: that Emma will fight the queen.
So while the curse has been broken (sort of) she still needs to fight the Queen and save them, as she will continue to wreak havoc on them. Some other thoughts on this:
I. Is the curse really broken? Yeah there are elements that are (such as them being able to remember). But they might not be able to leave storybrooke. And they aren’t back in their land yet. So maybe we are just assuming the curse was broken (based on what Henry said). It could just be another major crack in it, but not completely broken.
