Sorry, but I’m not going to blame Snow or Henry for the way they treated Regina. I know some people like to pretend to forget this, but Regina nearly killed every single person in the Charming family. So leaving her out of their dinner plans is the least she deserves.
^THIS.

Oh yeah, I loved that scene too. I was also fascinated by how Emma wasn’t the least bit afraid or angry at Mr. Gold. And it looks like that sentiment is going to hold. In the promo for next week’s episode, Gold is seen telling Emma about Baelfire.
Yet another example of the Charming family being nice to Rumpel and not Regina. 😆

ParticipantIt was an ok episode. I’m glad Emma and Snow are back and it was cool seeing Snow use the ink to free everyone from Rumpel’s cell. But like The Fairest stated, Regina is…not as enjoyable as she was last season. I love that she’s trying to change for Henry in Storybrooke, but now the writers are ruining her delicious Evil Queen persona. Thank God she’s going to be evil again next week.

I see it differently. I think the reason why people are being relatively civil towards Mr. Gold as opposed to Regina is because Regina went out of her way to hurt people. She specifically targeted the Charming family and all of their allies. So yes, they’re going to see her as more of a threat. That’s why in “Broken,” the town rioted at Regina’s house and not Mr. Gold’s. And even though the Charmings knew that Rumpel created the curse, they didn’t even bother to arrest him or put him in jail. But they did with Regina. With Mr. Gold, they simply went to his shop and asked him some questions. And on top of that, during the scene in the jail cell where Snow and Charming are asking Regina about the curse, they actually say “we should go get Mr. Gold.” They actually turned to him for help. The Charming family knows about Rumpel’s role in the curse, and yet, they still choose to trust him above Regina. Even Henry has been warming up to Mr. Gold lately.
People aren’t reacting to Mr. Gold the same way because he hasn’t put himself out there as much as Regina has. Regina announced at Snow and Charming’s wedding in the pilot episode that she would destroy everyone’s happiness. So, EVERYONE knows about Regina’s evil deeds.
That’s how I saw it as well. The Charmings haven’t made any moves to challenge Rumpel/Gold. It’s easier to blame the person who’s directly responsible for ruining your life, and that person right now is Regina. At least in the Charming’s eyes. And another example of the Charmings trusting Gold above Regina is the fact that they were so willing to trust Mr. Gold’s message about the squid ink. As soon as they received the message, they immediately trusted it.

I think in the end, Mr. Gold and Regina will both relent. The fact that this is the sneak peek that was released means that this is probably from the beginning of the episode. So, something eventually deactivates the portal. Besides, Mr. Gold still needs Emma for that favor. He can’t leave Storybrooke and he’s still searching for Baelfire.
And if I’m not mistaken, Belle is scheduled to be in this episode as well. So, I have a feeling she’ll factor into Mr. Gold’s actions in this episode.
I agree. This scene is probably from the beginning of the episode, so the portal will probably be deactivated or at the very least, overpowered. I just hope it’s done in a believable way. I’m still not used to Regina being so nice all of a sudden. It comes off as slightly unrealistic.

WHOA. I was not expecting any of that! 😮 The good news about this scene is that it solves an awful lot of problems. For one, Belle won’t fall for any of Hook’s tricks when he arrives in Storybrooke. And two, we’ll learn why Hook decided to ally himself with Cora. I think Regina and Hook were brief alies, but split up after some sort of betrayal. I’m going to say that the betrayal was on Regina’s part given the fact that I doubt she wanted to kill Rumpel. He has the curse and they have a strange love/hate alliance going on. So, I don’t think the alliance between Hook and Regina will last very long. So, Hook may end up having a slight vendetta against Regina as well.
I agree. I think Regina will only pretend to be Hook’s ally in an effort to learn more about Cora. Judging by the conversation between Mr. Gold and Regina in “Into the Deep,” it sounded like they were allies in the fight against Cora. So, I don’t think Regina wanted to kill Rumpel in the flashback.
And I’m relieved that Belle and Hook met back in the Enchanted Forest as well. After seeing this scene, I doubt he’ll be able to manipulate her when he arrives in Storybrooke.
OMG, my poor Belle! 😮
My thoughts exactly. 😥

ParticipantI think the title is hinting at a possible alliance between Cora and Archie. Maybe Archie falls under the influence of Cora. I don’t know if anyone remembers this, but a few months ago, there was a spoiler released that said someone everyone trusts will end up betraying them. I have a feeling that person will be Archie.

ParticipantI have a feeling the heart that Cora was using to control the zombies was her own.

ParticipantThis was a really good episode. 😀
I loved the conversation between Mr. Gold and Regina at the diner. I’m anxious to learn more about what happened between Rumpel and Cora. I thought after Regina pushed her through the looking glass, that was the last Rumpel had seen of her, but I guess I was wrong.
I loved how sweet and awkaward Mr. Gold and Belle were on their first date. It was so cute. And Mr. Gold’s line about “condiments are the most the powerful magic in the world” made me smile. I also loved that he wanted Belle to stay and hear his conversation with Regina. I’m glad that he’s being more honest with her.
And my poor Snow and Charming. I knew that was going to happen. I just knew it! There’s no way the writers were going to let these two be happy. So, now we have to wait around for another few episode for them to be reunite… again. Only to have them separated…again. 😥
And the whole controversy about the zombies was waaaaaaaaaaaayyy overblown! They were only around for like 2 minutes. 😆
I really loved this episode. Everyone was fantastic and the story is finally heating up. 9 out of 10! 😀
