Ok, theory… Rumple brought magic into Storybrooke, so maybe he can take it out of it again too. And perhaps that’s the sacrifice, which Henry or Henry’s situation will point out to him. I mean Bae is gonna get a lot of family all at once, and I think he will fight for them.
Actually I can’t wait for a grandad / granson moment between Henry and Rumpel. They have such chemistry. Rumple can’t want to kill him, he just can’t. It would make him all evil… and he isn’t. Right? It would break my heart if the writers did that.

Short answer: For me, fiction needs to be internally consistent. It has to have some level of plausibility within the context of the story and world it inhabits. I am an atheist which means I don’t just accept things on faith alone. And that’s what the writers gave us tonight; an episode that said, “just accept this plot turn on faith, we cannot offer any rational explanation.” I can suspend my disbelief for Fantasy and Sci-Fi stories because they can be written with plausibility and consistency within their world. And so, Bae meeting Emma on blind luck alone is so implausible it broke my belief in the story.
You don’t believe in faith? Then why are you watching this series in the first place? The whole point of the series is faith, fate and destiny. That’s the whole point of Fairy Tales in the first place. Good wins, evil loses, destiny happen, those who meant to be together, will be no matter what. And that’s what happened. Personally, and I think at least half the board is with me here, I saw it coming from a mile away. It’s what fairy tales are about.
spinninggoldParticipantFood is all and well, but can we have recipes? *is hungry now* 😀
spinninggoldParticipant12-4 1/2 in favour of Gold, Why not? 😆

Come on. as a Hooker, you make anyone that even tempts that, walk the plank. Are you a buccaneer or not? Swashbuckle your way through it.
Though… Robert Carlyle is the better swordsman appearantly. Best in class!
11-4 Gold
spinninggoldParticipant10-3 for Gold. Hookers, where are you?
Antbee, you hate the Irish accent? Really? I find it to be Hook’s one redeeming feature. And the way he is exaggerating it , fantastic, like a caricature. But then again, it reminds me of my teen crush…
Lil’Red Yes part of what I like so much about Rumpel is his intelligence and his way to let all the pieces come together. Hook is far too brass for that. And this thread? Your fault 😆 😆 😆
spinninggoldParticipantNaw… 5-2 I say
Not even a kiss vs manwhore, nice find! 😆 😆
With driven by love or hate I mean Gold is driven by the love for his son. It’s creation, even though his creation (the curse) destructs everything, Hook is driven by his hatred for the man that killed his love (and really, is that not just an excuse?) and is a force of destruction.
Throughout we see Rumple create (his contracts “help” people… at a very high price, yes, but still) while Hook destroys (starting with Rumple’s marriage)So (almost) creation vs destruction?
spinninggoldParticipantWell,I expect Gold to shine tonight, Robert Carlyle doing a song & dance with our heart strings.
I’m glad somebody gave Hook a vote though. Can’t have him be the underdog, I like an underdog, and that would have meant I would have to have started voting for him myself.
spinninggoldParticipantMedchen, really? I thought you were a Gold Digger. 😆

Now let us keep this a clean fight. That means not mud slinging!
Can’t we just set up a mud wrestling pit and let the men themselves fight it out? 😉
Tempting, tempting…Two hot sweaty men… But you know neither of those boys fights fair.
Anyways, 4-0 for Gold….Not much competition. Where are the Hookers?
