Whale and Ruby ran, the toasters right on their heels. They rounded several corners till they hit a dead end.
“Don’t hurt her, it is me you want. you…. thing!” Whale said, shielding Ruby.
“Oh, but I want you both. And the name is Roaster.”
“Well, you can’t have her. She is under my protection.” Whale wailed.
“We will see.” the Roaster said threatening.
Ruby sighed. “Ehm excuse me, I’m still here and I refuse to be a damsel in distress
[adrotate group="5"]spinninggoldParticipant“Belle dear, upstairs cupboard, second drawer to the right. Go fetch me what is in there.”
“What is in there? What are you gonna do to the teapot?” Belle asked worried.
“Make her very happy. Very happy indeed.” Rumpel smiled.
(Please make Rumpel say ” I’m full of love” in the next bit)
spinninggoldParticipantIn the meantime, back at Gold’s house things weren’t going much better. Emma’s magic had spread out over all of Storybrooke and when Rumpel and Belle arrived, most of the furniture was chasing eachother through the hallway.
“Lumiere, what is going on?!?” Rumpel demanded to know, looking at the candlelabra..
The teapot inched towards him. “Mr Rumpelstilstkin, where is my boy Chip?”
“Ask her, mrs Potts. At least I am not to blame for that fiasco.” he said pointing at Belle.
Belle grabbed his arm.”Rumpel, have you enchanted all these people?”
“No Belle, for once I did quite the opposite. I animated objects after you left, so … I had someone to talk to. I missed you.”
spinninggoldParticipantNeal saw Tamara talking to a stranger. Wait a minute, he was THE stranger, Emma had pointed him out.
“Hey Tamara, what’s up?” he asked.
She was startled, but Neal did not take notice. Quickly she ran up to him, thinking up something to tell him. “Greg just told me something was up at the diner. Your… Emma seemd to be involved.”
That worked, without even saying goodbye, Neal headed straight over at Granny’s.
spinninggoldParticipant“I would like to run some tests, ” dr Whale said.
Granny snorted. “What tests? They might be exhausted, but the sure ain’t sick.”
spinninggoldParticipant“Henry!” both Regina and Emma cried out. They might have their differences but when it came to Henry, nothing else mattered. Rushing to the front door, they saw the apple trees had come to life.
Henry, thank god, was alive and well, hiding behind one of the pillars of the entrance. Emma and Regina rushed to his side.“I had an apple I had taken from home, but as soon as I released it from my bag, it sprang from my grasp and as it hit the grass the apple trees sprang to life.”
“Released it? Henry, was this apple enchanted when you took it?” Emma asked
“Maybe?”
“And you knew?”
“Maybe? I wanted to show Regina.”
“Show Regina?” Emma lifted an eyebrow.
“She likes apples.” Henry tried.
“Henry, what do YOU always say about lying?” Emma spoke sternly, knowing very well that her son was not speaking the truth at the moment.
spinninggoldParticipant“So what are we gonna do? Wait till the funny man comes back for his box?” David asked, slobbering up his soup.
“Well,” Rumpel said, holding his spoon still. “I don’t know what you are gonna do, but I am going to finish my soup and see if I can find and catch that Tapioca, before it harms someone.”
“Rumpel! I didn’t know you cared!” Charming cheered, hugging him.
Rumpel peeled himself loose. “Well, Belle played with the thing, what if it remembers her and goes after her?” He had meant it as a fib to hide his true intentions, but as he spoke the words he realised that this might well be the case. Grabbing his coat, he hurried outside, Charming again in tow.
“What are you doing?”Rumpel sighed.
“Coming with you of course. Think I need my sword?”
“It’s a floating ball, how do you think your sword can even hit the thing?”
“I’ll go get it!”spinninggoldParticipant“I blame you for this,” Emma said. “Informing him about such matters was your task.”
“My task? You’re his mother now.” Regina sneered. “Anyways, what are you gonna do about this mess? I don’t want to hear the pitter-patter of tiny brooms around my house any day soon.”
spinninggoldParticipantIn the meantime, back on Main Street, Regina was desperately trying to get rid of Archie, so she could go look for Henry.
“Regina, I know you are hurting having lost your mother. But you need to let that pain out, else it’ll fester inside of you.”
She wanted to rip him to shreds. “Listen up you little Maggot!….”
“Good Regina, let it out, let your anger flow, don’t bottle it up.” encouraged her.
The wormy slimey son of a …. She should turn him back into a cricket right now. “Shut up! I need to go and look for Henry!”
“But Emma is his mother now, you need to let go of him, so he can develop into a good strong man,”
“With the likes of Pinnocchio on his side certainly?”
“Oh, you have seen Pinnocchio. Where is he? Gephetto send me out looking for him.”
Typical, those two men were completely incapable of taking care of a child. “If you shut up you can come along, alright?””
“I’ll be as quiet as a church mouse. Though I once knew a church mouse that was not quiet at all. He had climbed up one of the pillars in the vestibule and then fell down, right on top of the bishop’s….” Archie went on and on and on. This was gonna be a long day, Regina thought.
spinninggoldParticipant“To the pool room.”Regina said
“I didn’t know you had a pool,” Emma replied surprised, giving Henry a ‘do you know anything about that’ look in the process. He just shrugged.
“I didn’t have one… up till this morning that was,” Demonstratively Regina opened the doors to what was formerly known as her study.. Now however it looked like a wetland menagerie of …. cleaning utensils, and the could hear a David Attenborough voice over above their heads.
“Out here on the Regina Plains we are spectators of one of the most wonderous spectacles of domestic bliss. The mating of the Scopae Vulgaris or Common Broom as they are widely known.”
(I say once we are done we mail this to Adam & Eddie and suggest they make a featurette out of it 😆 )
