It seemed like someone was trying to coordinate a bunch of people into sending hate today. It’s disgusting what I read was sent to some of the people I follow and once to me. Like I said before these people are scumbags
I read some really disheartening stuff on my tumblr. One of my fellow CS ‘shippers has been getting repeated death threats from anons. I’m like ?! This is taking the ‘shipper wars to a dangerous low. No matter the differences we have and there likely going to be there for a long while, fans should NEVER, EVER send death threats to each other. I feel very protective of all my CS ‘shipmates, so it just boggles my mind when there’s a fan or two out there who does this. Thankfully, this seems to be only isolated on tumblr but this is just, really unacceptable behavior in general. If your ‘shipper life is dependent on what goes on in a TV show that you fail to see how and why this is wrong, you need to stop watching the show and do something else with your life. No show is ever worth sending death threats to other people across the internet. I hope everyone understands this.
they’re apparenlty going around I got one too, I told them I sleep with a gun under my pillow and to come get me. These people doing this are scumbags, they’re telling others to spread hate to our fellow CSers and many of them are filling through. Today we were successful in another trend plus Josh posted our ship in a poster. Whatever the case these people are just worthless losers who clearly don’t have anything better to do than spread hate around.
I also don’t want the actors to feel like they have to censor themselves just to make a certain faction or two of the fandom happy. There’s censoring and then there’s trying to walk a fine with the fans, just to avoid a storm. That has to be incredibly uncomfortable to do. I don’t think the actors purposely put stuff out there to start fights (usually, it’s the fans who do that) because everyone’s focus is their ‘ship and not the story as a whole. And I miss that. You know, when everyone cared about the story as a whole? Not just select stories?
Yes! The show is much more enjoyable when people focus on the overall story and not how the story affects their ship. I mean yes to be fair we’ve been lucky CS has been in a very favorable position when it comes to how Emma’s story is being told. Still episodes don’t need to be CS heavy for me to enjoy them. I mean I still loved Neal and Rumple’s episode and I went nuts over how freaking awesome Regina was in Save Henry. This is a great show period, I can gush on and on about probably 99% of the episodes.
Bless you Josh Dallas! He really has a great attitude towards the whole ‘shipper wars (or as I like to call, unnecessary hate). I think a lot of people forget, ‘ships are a fandom thing. Once is more than a show about ‘ships. It’s about a story and the relationships happen to be a part of it. Can we all just enjoy the story Adam and Eddie write without involving the nastiness that are ‘shipper wars?!
Yeah that’s why I don’t get people who decide just to watch for one ship  I love the show first and after that I go CS crazy. That’s why I support four different parings as true love 🙂 The other day I got another anon saying I can’t be claiming I’m a Rumbelle fan with CS all over my page. I need to stop reblogging Rumbelle stuff and blah blah I deleted that message but when I saw the same thing had been spread around to others I basically suggested that whoever it was can turn their opinions into a suppository… I may have cleaned up the language a bit lol
