I do think it’s damage control but it’s damage control one of two way 1) OMG we’ve said too much about spoilers (despite being mega #nospoilers people) OR 2) We didn’t realize what we were saying in a fun little interview and now our fandom is reacting (as this fandom is wont to do with…EVERYTHING)
Adam’s on twitter often he knows how this fandom reacts and he’s probably better at dancing around questions. Eddy was the one who actually said the two bigger giveaways that’s part of what makes me think that Eddy gave away a little more than Adam usually does and what doing that would do to the fandom since Eddy just avoids twitter altogether. To be honest I find that a little messed up on Eddy’s part since when it comes to these interviews where fans hear things and react the way they do Adam is always the one stuck with the check.
Adam’s tweets about the interview seem very damage control like to me I mean he’s going with garbled phone call? I think they gave away a bit more than he wanted
After that article I’m more reaffirmed even after damage control. The way they mention character arc and growth implies enough for me even if Adam says a line was taken out of context.
I think so too MP, but looks at those fans they’re already going nuts I’d take a long twitter break if I were Adam after the death
