@CaptainEala I hope you’re right about that, and the incoming event comes after Emma and Killian are able to be together.

It’s not so much that I care about what they say, I’ll just be less annoyed with them unable to say that and well tbh I’m a little vindictive so I’d like to be able to throw that one around a bit after some of the stuff that’s been said 😛

Guess I have to start thinking so early in the morning lol. The way I see it, it’s more about perception than reality. The reality of the situation is that Emma and Killian’s relationship isn’t swayed by the external forces of their lives, they develop their relationship on their own. It doesn’t matter what comes between them they’re gonna find each other. Neal might not be her choice but having him there when she finally, clearly chooses Killian is much more impactful and sends a clearer message to everyone not just those of us who knew who she chose way before she said it. IF Neal is not in the picture, there’s questions in the back of the mind of others, she may well have been ready to be with the man she loves and let go of her past and it wouldn’t have a made a difference whether Neal was there or not but if it’s “not”  the question will inevitably get raised. “Would he have changed anything?”  Having Neal there sends the message loud and clear “this is who I chosen, this is who I love, whether you’re here or not I love and want this man.” Emma Swan’s and Killian Jones’ relationship is being developed so beautifully and that message could very well be clear to many of us and the fans of the show that actually pay attention to the story but one thing I dread hearing is “Neal’s gone so it took the decision out of Emma’s hands.” Obviously that’ll be completely trivializing Emma’s decision making but they’ll say it, and if things play out this way it’ll get brought up. Bottom line personally I would love to be able to say, “Neal’s there, she could choose him if she was in love with him, but she’s not. The princess loves the pirate.

Oh, here we go. I know I should leave well enough alone and I have no intention to start a war but really, someone’s gotta point out to the people that go on incessantly in chat about how he’s never done something unselfish need to be shown the other side of things. Do they not REALIZE that Hook’s “I’m not doing it for you mate” comment to Charming in 3×5 was a JOKE? To break the tension! And his “eliciting a kiss” from Emma was a JOKE! To break the tension! That he expected her to kick him in his manly bits not to actually GET kissed?? How is this not obvious?! You can save someone’s life and it can be because 1) you don’t want him to die and 2) because you care about their daughter – and have it be unselfish. Sorry. Needed to get it off my chest.

The war’s already started 😛 I had to jump all over that when I saw it. Off the top of my head just from blind fury I thought of three instances where he was unselfish. First of all if you want to even take his “I didn’t do it for you mate” thing not for what it was a joke then the only other reason he did that was for Emma. That’s no secret he did it FOR Emma the woman he loves. The person who brought him out of his 200 year hunt of revenge that rotted his heart. What a SELFISH jerk ensuring her happiness like that?! A downright scoundrel making sure Emma wouldn’t lose her father!

I love the other one too it’s even more ridiculous. I don’t know how anyone wants to make the case that Hook coaxed a kiss out of Emma. Inconceivable! He did what he always does, flirt with her throw a little game her way just to make her smile. Again what a selfish jerk! She finds out she nearly lost her father and he tried to make her smile! What a MONSTER! Then because SHE wanted to Emma kissed him. He wasn’t expecting that at all but he was sure happy about it. So was she by the way they can hang on to her deflections all they want but the look on her face tells the true story. Out of breathe, smiling after his ‘As You Wish,” trying to gossip  with her mom right after (If it was nothing we wouldn’t be talking about it). All these feeling culminating in their goodbye in the finale (not to mention Emma’s hint of jealousy at Hook and Tink). That kiss did mean something to both of them, Killian is sure of his feelings now. Emma will come to terms with hers in the next part 🙂

I spent many years in Neverland, home of the lost boys. They all share the same look in their eyes – the look you get when you’ve been left alone. 

 

I hadn’t thought of this but remember in Lost Girl when Snow asked Emma why she stopped fighting that Lost Boy? She instantly recognized the look in his eyes because she had the same look. I remember we all thought Killian was abandoned too and that’s why he knew Emma was an orphan. He recognized that look because like Emma he had it too.

It’s just idotic to say that. As much as I’m sometimes tired with CS, it’s true, some people are very loud sadly, I feel like I can disagree with you guys and be intelligent about it, I do totally think the way they wrote Hook in season 3 is wrong, but that’s MY opinion, and I’ll take any of you rather than “haters” who put crap on any character, I like debates but as long as they remain intelligent. It’s interesting to debate with people with a different opinion actually. But both sides must remain objective and it doesn’t happen often. And saying “I’d rather be a hater than a Hooker” is just idiotic I believe. Oh well, good nioght guys and sorry for my venting =) Ty for making this forum a nice little place, even though we do get heated sometimes, but it remains quite nice and quite able to talk to each other. Whatever happens on the show… Oh well. The SFer in me would be sad but… Thank you for you guys remaining nice =) I send you tons of hugs! =)

I’ve never really understood someone devoting their time to hating something and being proud for being called a hater. There’s a fanlistings network and there’s also a hatelistings network — it just feels so counter productive to focus your time and energy on something you hate, rather than focus your positive energy on something you love.

 

I’m always way more pro one thing than anti another some of the stuff in those anti-tags is just so bad.
