Also about the dice… it’s a guy thing c’mon get over it anyone being picky about that is just nitpicking Hook’s other questionable decisions I can understand but Captain Cobra bonding over dice?

^^^ What I’ve said before and I’ll say it again now it’s surprising how much you agree with someone till you bring up ships. You’ll have similar theories, thoughts, interpretations but as soon as it comes to the direction of a ship that where things end up going bad. Before the death happened and it was just hanging over our heads it happened a few times. The thing I kept saying to myself was just let them say what they want cause I know I’m right about this and they might as well have hope while they can.
On another forum I frequent someone wondered if Smee is Zelena’s spy/agent. She noted how he was called a rat and how he was always trying to push Hook into the pirate life.
I wonder if him being changed from his rat form wasn’t a result of the curse being destroyed but something maybe Z did? Idk probably not but I’d be open to the possibility
I feel CS’ers have to really walk on eggshells and go out of their way to not upset the SFers. Sometimes I feel just disagreeing with some of them in a normal, dispassionate way is taken so personally. It should be ok to be happy about your ship, to like your favorite characters and to say so outside of this thread. The double standard bugs me a lot. Any accusation you can make about Hook or CS would be just if not way more applicable to Rumple or Rumbelle, including the TLK not working.
I felt that way too but after a while of talking it out and getting into a few disagreements I found it better to just say what’s on my mind. I try to be respectful about it, I also try not to just get defensive over everything but if there’s something that I disagree with and I think there’s a reasonable evidence from the show I’ll say it. The mods here are good as long as people are civil they both do a good job. RG is a big SF shipper but she’s backed me more times than I can count when I’m being reasonable with something I say about Hook and CS and others are being unreasonable. Really everybody don’t worry about stomping the eggshells just get through it, respectfully stand up for yourselves if necessary but for the most part it’s not really that bad most of the time. There’s a lot of great views not just ship related in this thread the more of us that step out the more comfortable we all feel.
It’s up to KJ to be our outside ambassador it seems! I know it’ll calm down, I just hope it does before more people get upset/hurt. We’ll see. Killian Jones is a do-gooder stick in the mud. Captain Hook is selfish and revenge-obsessed. The true person that is emerging has qualities from each side and I think Colin is doing a good job showing the two personas blend. Killian and Hook are one dimensional, but this new person is fascinating and what draws me to his/this storyline. And he’s gonna have to tell Emma about the curse soon – once our girl gets something in her head she doesn’t let go and she is FINALLY letting herself acknowlege long-brewing emotions. Our pirate had better be ready!
You mean me? Lol well truthfully at first I didn’t like to venture out into the forums too much or the chat for many of the same reasons a lot of the posters here don’t. Then I thought it to myself that I was the dude that started the thread so I should be out there even thought there’s a lot of stuff out there that is shall we say unproductively critical? There’s a lot of nice people on this forum and the truth is if not for things dealing with Captain Swan there’s no conflicts. Love day was a great success because there was nothing to fight about there’s no disputes over whether this show is great at least there wasn’t at the time. I know now things are different for Swan Fire shippers their whole vision of what this show is about shattered so things have maybe been a little more testy. When I’m out on the forums though I’m not gonna let anything bother me. The way the show has gone it makes it really easy to stand up for our ship. I don’t mind defending it, if I have something I disagree with I’ll say it. I figure that Neal fans need(ed) time to grieve and I’ve tried to be respectful of that but I’m not gonna apologize for shipping what I ship. Anybody that is wants to go into the chat but maybe doesn’t for any of the reasonable reasons, I’ll say this our mods are great if there’s need to intervene they’ll do it so don’t worry about things getting crazy here. Focus on what makes you happy about our ship keep things positive, there’s plenty of positive things to hang on to so that isn’t hard to do. The biggest thing I stick to when out in the forums stick to canon and things we’ve heard from the actors or Adam surprisingly that’s not hard to do at all when defending Captain Swan lol.
QUESTION: Is anybody else now being sent to page 2 when you submit a post (rather than page 1)?

around here but I try temper some of my excitement lol.
I think something Emma does will break the Zelena’s curse. I think he’ll tell Emma they’ll swirl around with this for a while and think of some kind of plan. If Emma is strong enough maybe she’ll be able to keep everyone safe even if the WW wants to kill them?
I supported Hook’s decision of choosing his ship over Eric for the reasons that:
1. Blackbeard may not have told them the truth about where Eric was but would’ve still had the Jolly Roger and would’ve damaged Hook’s reputation beyond repair. Reputation is everything in pirate circles.
2. If Blackbeard had told the truth, how would Hook and Ariel have got to the deserted island without the ship? If Ariel decided to go alone, what would Hook have done? His pirate reputation was already in question and would’ve been destroyed and Hook would be in a worse state than he started off with.
3. Ariel found Eric on her own any way. It may have took her a little longer but she still found him.
4. If Ariel and Eric were living happily ever after on their little island, then Eric wasn’t in danger of dying of starvation.
5. Hook’s pirate reputation is important as it actually saves lives whilst he’s pirating. A ship is more likely to hand over its treasure without a fight to a “feared” pirate than to one who is known as a bit soft.
Hook should definitely tell Emma about the kiss curse because, even if he did kiss her and removed her magic in order to save her family, Zelena will just go after them any way. There’s a reason why Zelena wants Emma’s magic removed so it’s important that Emma keeps it.
I really can’t support Hook picking his ship over saving Eric. One reason is because Hook can’t even support it. It’s one thing to kill Blackbeard that gets him his reputation but to just leave Ariel to it and not offer any help is another. He could have told her that he would still help her find Eric but he let his pride get to him. He let his pain lead him to make the wrong decision and it cost him and could cost him later. This decision could end up being like gum on his boot and might follow him around for a while. Emma might find out about it and react badly. What he did gave Zelena the chance to use his love for Emma against him. Also not coming clean about what happened in the EF right away further compounded the problem. He should have said what happened right away faced the consequences and tried to make amends then. I think he can still make make up for it but what he did there was Bad Form.
I don’t see how anyone could think that CS has been sudden or fast. Everything is happening at a very well developed pace. CS has been happening since they first met in “The Doctor” pretty much every single interaction between them has been seen on screen so if someone thinks it’s too fast they should rewatch the episodes & catch up lol. This part of their story is gonna be like Snowing’s in season one they’re going to have opstacle after opstacle moments where we think they’ll finally find a moment together & have something come up & break them apart. There’s bumpy seas ahead but once we get through it the destination will be worth it 🙂
