Ugh, I just got a really, really nasty anon on tumblr and I need a place to say it since I have blocked that person, whoever they are. Some of the things they said… I actually feel kinda sick. Why is there so much hatred??
if you get one like that again you tell them to take their attitude and store it within themselves in a manner that is both space saving and limits it’s exposure to sunlight. I cleaned up the language but I hope you understand my advice. 😉
Did they say that Hook born in FTL, or was he from like England with Wendy and ended at FTL?

Good to know @hookian – thanks for the heads up! I know I stopped catching up on a bunch of them that were blatantly ignoring any of the even obvious parallels with CS because it got too frustrating. Personally I find it fascinating that the ones who taught me to look more in depth and notice the structure, camera angles etc etc have been hardcore denying CS is a real thing until very very recently, and one of the podcasts I love for the people is split down the middle on shipping and doesn’t do all the detailed stuff but at least it’s fun to listen to because both are represented. I’d really love to be able to catch up on the others though. Been pretty busy and just gave up for awhile because it was so one-sided. I miss them, even if they don’t think my ship exists. We’ll just have to wait for the show to prove us right. It’s been doing a pretty good job so far! Look how far we’ve come! (And some of us have been here from the beginning – man was that rough!)
I was surprised when I heard the podcast how open they were this time when it came to Emma possibly choosing Hook. I felt as most of my fellow CS shippers did that maybe they were a little too pro SF for a while. So I was expecting to hear more of the “Hook’s kiss didn’t work so it can’t be true love” stuff we’ve been seeing since it happened. Instead the said basically the opposite. I wrote in a couple times after hearing initial reactions and how many missed opportunities there were to show things from the other side’s perspective. I hoped I’d bring a little balance with what I said since that’s hard to do with no one shipping Captain Swan hosting the podcast lol. All I’ve ever tried to show the other side is that both our ships are viable as endgame, never that one is better than the other. The show has done that by itself, some kind try and jump on the holes that pop up to try and invalidate the other side but the truth is both sides points of view regarding their ships are valid and this is all personal preference until the show ends the triangle.
@CaptainEala idk if that rules out that synopsis completely, if Hook does bring back Emma with true love stands to reason they’d go back to where Storybrooke is/was. the episode may start like that,then we get the hug, then hop in the bug back to SB.
@sweetgrass would be easy to fit in since Colin is a musician 😛
One of the arguments I’ve seen a few times is that Hook should step aside so that Bae, Emma and Henry can be a family. I’ve seen that enough times so that I already have my response memorized lol. First thing is Hook was prepared to do just that, put his heart aside to allow Bae to have his chance without him interfering. It just happened that Pan caused a curse forcing them to part and I dont see how anybody who loves anybody could just let them go when there’s a strong possibility they’ll never see that person again.
Next thing is Neal and Emma being together isn’t the only way to have a legitimate family. They are all a family and an unconventional one at that. Neal and Emma will always love each other but that doesn’t mean they can never love again and that the new love they find is in any way inferior to the one they’ve moved on from. Henry, Emma and Neal are already a family but that doesn’t mean Emma and Neal have to be together in the romantic sense.
