Thanks WR! It is beautiful and I agree â open to either ship. Thanks for sharing! Wow thatâs a lot of votes! Regardless of what happens, I think we did a great job for a ship that isnât even completely official (as in actually together) like the others!
yeah, maybe next year we’ll have more shipmates and maybe less cheating too hehe
Final twitter tally just under 293,000 tweets. It’s finally over! I’m really proud of how well members of our ship came together to try and win this thing. Regardless of how this comes out we know we put forth an honest effort for Captain Swan. All that’s left t. Say about this from me is I’m so glad this is done and we can move on!

@CaptainEala I would hope that these contest runners clean up their contest rather than just force us to find more innovative ways to beat the system every year lol
I really don’t see the cheating thing as news I know I mentioned it first but it was really out of sarcasm lol I guess that’s only evident if you’ve been involved in the ins and outs of voting polls you expect cheating going in. Â I was hoping to see what they were doing and figure it out but I couldn’t find much. From what I’ve seen I don’t expect much when it comes to cracking down on cheaters what matters more to these people is getting hits on their websites or being able to report record numbers of votes. I haven’t looked but I bet that post is out there somewhere. As a young ship we just haven’t learned enough yet which is why everytime I’ve posted a voting tip I find way more people that haven’t learned of that tip than have.

Ha! During the Zimbio poll when I was helping Rumbelle we found the instructional cheating video that the other ship was using to help their side cheat. Wanna know what they did when we turned over the video to them? They claimed the method didnât work and then they took off votes from OUR side! During the wetpaint poll we notified wetpaint told them there was cheating going on and said basically there was nothing they could do about it. There was a OnceUponAFan poll a side was cheating I found a way to beat it they actually just scrapped the whole poll. My guess in the end they wonât do a thing to fix this, theyâll say theyâre on top of things and not actually do anything about it.
Well that just sucks! If they dont do anything about it, itâll just keep happeningâŚ. I wont bother voting next yr if that is the case- for anything, as itâs not really âpeoples choiceâ, it becomes whoeverâs the most dishonest & cheats the most choice, so that is a totally pointless exercise
What a rip! i know it sucks đ we’ll see what these PCA people do about it I haven’t dealt with them they might actually do something to maintain the integrity of the votes who knows!
