I loved this season from the get go, Emma re-meeting her parents, then Snow and Emma getting to know each other all over again and Emma realizing what it means to have her parents. The beautiful thing from the that story was when Emma saw what her parents gave up and she saw what she gave up with Henry their sacrifice seemed so much larger to her than hers with Henry. I mean she gets to have a life with Henry at 11 they get her at 29. Then the Henry and David story Charming getting the son he wanted, and Henry going from an unhappy situation with his mother to not only getting her to try and redeem herself but getting this ridiculously awesome new family where the most boring part of his day was going with his ware-wolf protector lol
Also I loved seeing Captain Hook on the show starting from his first appearance in The Crocodile “TICK-TOCK dearie TICK-TOCK!”
Then The CaptainSwan beanstalk adventure, paralleled against her relationship with Bae? The sword fight in Queen of Hearts was just about the coolest thing ever. I mean from this season I can literally be named an episode and I can gush all over it for one reason or another. exampleThe consensus worst episode seems to be S, B & T The one thing I was not really feeling was the stupid taser but in that episode it was still cool to see August living with the consequences of the decisions he made in his life. How he struggled to even get to Storybrooke and only went when he was out of options. This episode sold Tamara as a villain to me showed me that there would be an outside threat that would unite the family. Then that line August said? “I’ve lived of life of cowardice, selfishness and dishonesty” also seeing Geppetto get his son back and Snow’s reaction to finding out that she had to let Emma go because of what Geppetto did (it was also pretty sick to see Snow shooting arrows while jamming out to Bad Reputation lol), I was surprised Emma wasn’t more upset than she was. The whole pace of that episode made me feel like how Pinnochio must have felt, constantly running and escaping his responsibility until at last remembering what it is to be what he was suppose to be and knowingly laying down his life again.
Like I said I can go on and on (havent eaven touched on how great Rumbelle was this year) but suffice to say I loved season two, I just wish the scheduling was better but the episodes themselves I really found it impossible to hate any one of them and not find something I liked about them.

I’ve only ever written any for Tin Man and that was ages ago but I am planning on doing some this summer for CaptainSwan for sure! It’s time I put my rambling to good use and I need to do my summer writing challenges anyway and hopefully get something edited and sent out by the end of the year…. Basically instead of just rambling on in here (sorry guys! I don’t realize just how much I write sometimes til I have to keep scrolling :S), I can aid the fandom a bit better hopefully with some fanfic to tide us over instead. After all anybody seeing this thread basically agrees anyway (for the most part) or at least tolerates it enough not to say anything which basically = me preaching to the choir when I go on a tangent (sorry!!!)
I will say though that seeing all of the things that people have brought in here about the things they’ve noticed that help make us feel a part of something legit rather than the freakouts that I (and maybe some others) were having awhile back and every little bit helps show we’re not delusional so I am all for that! (Can you tell that word really bugged me the other night? I love a good discussion and I know it’s going to take a LOT to ever get anybody to like it – I hope the finale helped people like Hook a little more and I think it might have – but every little bit to help US feel like WE have a real chance is a good thing. This time next season I want to see a lot more support for CS and more people switching over and being able to say we were here all along and believed in it). *Fingers crossed*
Oh I’d love to read a CaptainSwan fanfic from you I like reading your rambling observations, I could imagine how good a fanfic would be. I’ve never written one before even if this is good jump off point I still wouldn’t know where to go with it from there I don’t think I have the writing prowess. I think the problem is I’ve already molded the writing talents I used to have toward geting through research papers 😆 I have a lot of ideas for a CaptianSwan fanfic but I wouldn’t even begin to know how to organize them all into a story with any amount of clarity.
I think I’ll like the scheduling now since we’ll get consecutive episodes without all these weird hiatuses, but a two hour finale would just be the cherry on top.

Imagine a close up of the lense of Hook’s spyglass so we’re all made to think it’s Hook but they pan back to show it’s really Emma holding the lense and she’s dressed in an awesome pirate outfit now with Hook standing behind her and he tells her something like… “I told you before you’d make a hell of pirate”

They added so much color to the show and lightness that the main cast, stuck in life-and-death drama constantly, can’t always afford. So I’m hoping that they won’t be entirely forgotten.
But I’m kinda hoping for Belle to protect Storybrooke and then start fighting for a way to get back to Rumple. She needs him almost as much as he does her. (Because, yes, I’m a Belle fan. But you knew that.)
What I think is if she does learn magic she will start trying to use it to get Rumple back. She may figure out to get to other worlds too I mean the bean plant is still in Regina’ (Or maybe new mayor Belle’s) office so Tiny can start making the beans again. It think they’ll do more of a flash sideways thing between SB and NL for the start of the season if Adam said that we’ll be pleasantly surprised than that must mean that Belle is going to be doing plenty of stuff for us to be excited about.
Red was a great character and you know I loved her episodes but I don’t know of much else they could have done with her. At the end of it all she became more of a plot device for “whose taking care of Henry.” Other than that they just wasn’t anywhere to fit her, I would have loved to see her interact with Lacey since her and Belle were becoming besties or how bout a little more interaction with Emma. I don’t know I was kind of sad to see the role Ruby ended up in and with her role being diminished when there would have presumably been more for her to do with her and Belle being the de-facto leaders in Storybrooke now but hey it is what it is.
Another thing to note Neal is gonna be out of the picture for a while so Emma and Hook are gonna spend a lot of time together we thought they got soft on each other during a trip up a beanstalk what’s gonna happen on an adventure to save her son? So exciting
With Ruby’s role probably gonna be severely shall we say minamalized I expect Belle to be at the forefront of all things Storybrooke now. Giving her magical abilities would be a fun and interesting twist on things for sure. It would have been cool to have Ruby and Belle running things and getting more screen time for Grumpy and Granny but with the fanbase that Belle has gotten now it’s gotta be her as the main focus now. I would love for Rumple to be able to help her learn magic by communicatng throught some macial means or even learning from Blue.
I like the idea of one long break during winter having a marathon and a promo episode to lead up into each half like they did this year would be nice too. I thought it would be a perfect fit to air Wonderland during this break on Thursday’s avoiding a lot of scheudling conflicts Once has to deal with whil still giving us something to tide us over. If Thursday is gonna be Wonderland day that’s ok too it’ll give us something to watch other than Sneak Peeks and promos. I’m really excited for the spin-off show even if it’s in a so called death slot. I remember somewhere reading that OUAT’s time slot was a death slot too and we can kill in the ratings if we’re scheduled right same I think with Wonderland. Also I’d like if we do this to finish in sweeps week why not have a two-hour finale? If we double up on a Sunday won’t that help us finish on time?
