Its a small thing, and this probably sounds stupid, but if she really cared about him i’m sure she’ll keep it like she kept Neal’s chain.I think Emma kept Neal’s keychain for the same reason that the giant kept the destroyed bean as a reminder not to let herself just trust anyone so she won’t get burned again. Not sure if she’ll keep the scarf as a keepsake that would pretty nice.

Thanks it’s hard ot find support with all the love for SwanFire and SwanTheif around here, and I think he’ll come up for her against Cora, trust for Emma is a difficult thing but I think Hook understands that. I see him winning her over by doing something very pivotal.

That’s a really good question, I think she might but I think it’ll depend on where Rumple is at the time. If he’s dangerous she might be on Hook’s side!

I guess I just feel sorry for him, cause I don’t think people understand what he is/had going/gone through with everything resting on him to do all this stuff for everyone in the Enchanted Forest….;)
Even though all the things he did were just kind of wrong.
We will continue to see this though. And I heard that there is going to be an episode about his life in the real world? That should be interesting…I wonder if everyone will change their feelings for him once again when they see his side of the story.😉 When August told Neal to leave Emma…My heart melted when he was like, “Never.”
At this point I don’t see anything in his past that can redeem him for me. He has a lot to atone for with all he’s done to Emma and her family.

Thats kind of how I view August’s actions in this episode. He maybe went a little out of his way to ‘protect’ emma by sending neal away, but he did it to compensate almost for his not being there. He was doing all these things to get back in control of what he messed up, kind of to say to himself, ‘okay, its all better now.’ so he could overlook his bad choices in the past. I do this too…not in this kind of scale, haha, but I do.So I can give him a little grace in the whole ‘Neal’ matter, even if what he did maybe wasn’t the best thing. But I am angry at him for taking the money, that I’m not going to back him up for. 😉
Thoughts?There’s a lot of ways to try and justify what August did when it came to Neal but the simple thing to me is that even if you want to say that he did the right thing there he still dumped his responsibilities again. Here’s what I get from August, first when he was in the home with Emma. ” I know my father trusted me to guide Emma but it’ll be ok for me to leave her to grow up alone she’s in an orphanage what’s the worst that can happen?” He comes back now gets rid of Neal, tells him not worry I’m gonna be there for her. Tells himself I screwed up before but I’m back and I can make up for it. Then “wow that’s a lot of money… Ok new plan get Emma’s baby to Storybrooke to hopefully lure her there and hopefully things will work out on their on now off I go to Phuket!” Finally it’s “oh shoot I’m turning back into wood I really messed up but I can make up for it!” It’s a whole lot of justifying bad decisions at the time and trying to make up for them when they come back to bite him.
