Well I think that their love is definitely real and not manipulated because no magic can create that, but I could see the Blue Fairy working behind the scenes to manipulate them in place.
What i’m worried about is more along the lines of them writing it into the curse that the savour have a child or something like that–something to eventually draw her into Storybrooke.
I’m really hoping that Neal and Emma’s love is a wild card–something that for all Rumple’s planning and Blue’s preparations, neither of them could have predicted or manipulated into being. The alpha and omega, the beginning and the end of the curse together.
Perhaps that particular bit of true love has a magic all its own. Perhaps it (or the product of it) can do what Rumple never cared to factor into his plains and something Blue never dreamed could be possible: Restore the other realms.
Perhaps that’s Henry’s own special destiny…
Or maybe i’m letting my imagination run away with me, but it’s fun to think about. 😆
Yeah that would really suck more if Henry wasn’t planned then August must have found out about him then they amended the plan to use Henry to lure Emma to Storybrooke.

My vote to Skin Deep.
Mainly because Tallahassee’s two plots are quite disconected, like two different stories with the same character as protagonist. I mean, I know that the linking point is Emma’s distrust of Hook, which remains her Neal, but I can’t feel it as a unified tale: when FairytaleLand’s story got all my atention, then suddenly it changed to Emma’s past, and vice versa. It seems like the stories of the nightmares were closer each other than the main plots.
On the other side, you can feel Skin Deep as a single story, so to speak. There is also another reason, more personal one. I know you are going to be totally shocked after read what i’m going to write, but i swear it is completely true: I discovered the Belle&Beast story after watching Skin Deep. You see, I’m sort of “disney virgin”, my fastination for fairy tales came to me being an adult and then I read the original tales from the folklore tradition, avoiding the romantic ones. BUT, I really enjoyed Skin Deep and it has made me become more open to certain stories. Not a very impartial reason to vote for it, but…
I think the decision she made to leave Hook behind was a pretty good unifier of both the stories. We had seen Emma put up that wall that she does before. Seeing the story between Emma and Neal to me was almost a lead in to her making that decision. She felt what she was doing was wrong but she couldn’t bring herself to trust this man who really didn’t deserve to be left behind the way he was. We know about Emma’s lie detector not working so well when she’s emotional I think she realizes that too. So when she started warming up to Hook she didn’t trust herself to make good decisions about him anymore so rather than take the chance she left him. I hate the decision she made but I understand it now why she brings that wall down.

I definitely agree with the current theory of Bae/Neal/PP… have since last season. A lot of what I’m seeing just affirms it.
Does anyone out there think that Neal wrote the book? He’s in NYC, is it too far fetched of me to say that he is a writer (lots of writers in NYC). I’ve been re-watching episode 1 of Season 2 for clues in the opening scene with Neal… including the song playing “Charley’s Girl” by Lou Reed.
Just wanted to see if any of you were wondering the same or had an theories!
I think it was Blue, just because she’s the oldest magic. She’s the only one that could be able to recount all those stories from the very beginning. The book was enchanted that’s why Emma got a flashback when she touched in ALWOM. Those final preparations had to involve the book and Blue keeping her memories.

ParticipantIt’s tough to say both we’re really good I can see the comparison with romance and villains. Skin Deep has Rumple the villain being too afraid to accept that Belle actually loves him. Tallahassee has Emma being too afraid to let Hook in and trust him because of what happened to her before (darn you Pinocchio). I enjoyed the Emma backstory seeing how Pinocchio’s manipulation of her and Neal’s relationship impacted how Emma makes decisions for herself. That wall of hers! I get it now, and I’m really shipping CaptainSwan so I loved the EF present stuff. all those moments between Hook and Emma were great! once i figure how to update my signature and avatar im CaptainSwanning them ou completely. Despite Emma betraying Hook I’m hoping Hook proves himself to her and is able to win Emma over he did say he loves a challenge and earning Emma’s trust is sure to be challenging.

Yeah, I don’t know why not being a prince would disqualify him to be town sheriff. Since when have you had the be royalty to wear the badge? The only thing I can think of is it would mean he’s been lying to everyone since forever and that would make people feel betrayed.
I would love for King George to threaten Charming with telling everyone he’s not a real prince all episode and Charming to be worried about the town’s reaction the whole time. Then King George when finally outs him for Grumpy to just be like “So?”

If you think about it August did the right thing, all he was doing was trying to right the wrong he did by leaving emma in the orphanage all alone. If he didnt split up the couple then emma would have never given up henry for adoption, she would be too easy to manipulate and she wouldnt have had the courage to do most of the things she has done. If you think about it, prison made her strong and independant, if she didnt go to prison she would have never formed the barrier she has when it comes to trusting people. This barrier has saved her multiple times in SB. Yes what august did was bad but he had to make sure that emma grew up independent and strong so that whatever she faced in SB she could face and win.
Kind of backfired on him when he ended up turning back into wood didn’t it? Maybe you could pass him splitting up Neal from Emma but what about that bit about him taking her money and leaving her to go to Phuket? What about that thing Emma said “which curse is worse” Pinocchio was suppose to be there for her and he neglected his priorities more than once leaving Emma to pay for his mistakes.

I don’t like the narration for the American promo…
‘What if Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf…were one of the same..?” It’s like whoever did the narration didn’t know that there was an episode last season called Red-Handed were it was revealed that Red is the wolf. The music is horrible too.
Yeah don’t know why the went with that either, from the pics and clues about this episode it looks like it’s gonna be good at least.

ParticipantI’m thinking it’s just a well known story, Hook genuinely thought Emma was going to leave him to be killed so he didn’t really know what the truth was. Snow seemed to be somewhat familiar with what Hook was talking about too.
