Ok now I can see this as being an explanation, why Mulan was Lancelot’s (Cora’s) right rand warrior and all the trinkets of suspicious behavior. One of these things by itself doesn’t mean much but seeing this things all at once adds up to something. I know it probably means nothing more than likely it’s nothing but I’m just saying look at all these little things.

1. Cora made it a point to send Mulan with Snow and Emma
2. Mulan vouched for Hook being a blacksmith
3. When Hook is giving away some good information Mulan is really quick to want to leave him to the ogres
4. Why did Cora leave so easily when Mulan showed up in the nursery?
5. How was Cora able to follow them when they were on that trip to return to the wardrobe?

I know! He has to be Bae! If Henry’s father was jus some guy what would it matter to him that curse is broken? I’m thinking August and Pinocchio knew each other maybe they ran in to each other and discovered that they’re both from the EF. I’m thinking Bae (Neal) found out who Emma was and that’s why he ditched her. I don’t know how to formulate the idea yet but I’m seeing how the pieces can fit.

It’s kind of like how the writers explained why relationships with Emma took a backseat last season and will be more of a possibility now. Emma had to be all about Henry, breaking the curse and finding her parents last season but now there’s room for romance. For Regina it’s now about redeeming herself and winning Henry over romance will need to take a backseat for now but I think finally letting go of Daniel was a big step in getting her where she needs to go.
