Oh no! Why does Emma look so sad and heartbroken here? I fear it may be something to do with Neal.

Emma’s super power doesnt work well when her emotions are involved (at least that is what A&E have said), so I guess that would explain it.
@ surayya But she knows each time Killian’s lying or telling the truth. Does that mean she’s not emotionally invested? :((. I could understand that when she didn’t remember him but in 314 she knows he’s lying about his adventures on his ship. Is that only because of the special connection they share?
I think Emma can just read Killian because of their connection

I never said it was malicious? All magic comes with a price, so if he did give something up–JR, something else, then yeah of course there is a price. I’m just hashing out with you, not trying to attack anything.
no no I wasn’t saying you were! Lol I was just kind of putting pieces out there like a profile of what it could be. I know I can be confusing when I type my thought process sorry.
^^^ it could be that it’s collateral pending something else happening. At this point I think the evidence is just too thin to be definitive. My gut says there’s a price for him returning and that it’s not malicious.

that would be my first guess, not exactly sure tbh but I think we’ll find out in his centric for sure. Up till then they’ll probably keep getting hints. Still as huge as it would be for Hook to have given his ship for her I think it may be even something bigger than that.
