You win. 👿 Hahahaha gaahh that makes me so mad. This is the first episode I haven’t watched twice yet. I don’t want to. I feel like I can’t make my own theories anymore lol. With one writer paying close attention to physical appearance (when August says “Do I look like him at all?” referring to Bae) and another writer not caring at all (August has brown hair, blue eyes; Young Pinocchio has red hair, brown eyes) it’s just inconsistent, in my opinion. But he is Pinocchio so…. eff.
As long as your willing to admit it, I’ve heard it’s not uncommon for hair an eye color to change as one gets older & maybe it’s me but I do kind of see a deep reddish tint to August’s hair.

ParticipantHis hair looks like it did in “Hat Trick” though I’m thinking he’s using the hat Emma made to come back to Storybrooke!

It kind of looks like Jefferson is Fairytale land, or at the very least, some other land. He did fall throught he hat at the end of “Hat Trick,” so he could be anywhere right now.
But from his appearance does it look like he’s coming back to Storybrooke? I’m gonna go with the hair test, his hair was long before the curse it was shorter and slicker after I think I saw short hair so I’m going with its him coming back!

Is Jefferson going to be in both of the next two episodes?
Yes, I think so. A new promo for next week’s episode was released and it had the Mad Hatter in it. 😉
Do you think it’s hatter from before Storybrooke or after? I can’t find screen caps so I can’t really tell

There’s the freakin hatter! I need a screen cap though can’t tell how he fits in here, from the quick glimpse I want to say it could be a Hatter whose returned to Storybrooke not from before the curse

Participant100% with this, After August shows Emma his leg and that didn’t work to convince her and he goes off on this tirade it seemed more to me in that conversation that she does believe what she’s being told. To me that’s not the reaction I would expect to hear from someone who just doesn’t believe, it sounds more like someone who DOES believe and doesn’t want to face it. Maybe it’s not a matter of believing in magic or curses but a matter of Emma believing in herself. Hence the line in the promo by Henry “you might not believe in curses but I believe in you.” Her son’s belief in her I think is gonna get Emma to do what she needs to do

ParticipantYeah I sneezed during that story probably because I’m allergic to BS!

Is Dumbo outside the cage and she rocks him on her trunk (is that the right word?)? If so, then that’s actually the scene I mean.
I honestly don’t remember Fox and the Hound … Have to watch that one again sometime.Yes that’s the one, the song is called “Baby Mine,” Fox & the hound is one of my favorites, but it does have that scene & a Bambiesque scene to start the movie.

You want to cry put on some old Disney movies!
So true. As a kid I always hated the mother scene in Dumbo (she doesn’t die, but it’s soooo sad) and the mother being shot in Bambi.
Which scene was that? For me it was the one where she’s in the cage rocking little Dumbo that song soooo sad! You know what freaked me out before the mother scene is when the bird gets shot right before; She’s all “I can’t wait any longer!” BANG!!! The worst one though wasn’t a death either but In Fox and the Hound when the lady abandons Todd in the woods? He was so happy the whole ride there then she just leaves him!

Sometime between abandoning Emma and his leg starting to turn into wood he much like the victims of the curse lost who he was, somewhere between 18-35 he didn’t do enough.
Maybe he had no way of finding her before now, so had given up trying? But when his leg started to give him trouble, he was drawn to the place they’d come through to our world, and in turn to nearby Storybrooke, where he found her, and everyone else. It was only then that he realised he could in fact still attempt to fullfill his promise and guide her into believing.
All I heard from his is he found an island to lose himself on and he never gave leaving a second thought to leaving till his leg hurt him. If he would have said to Emma “once I was old enough I started looking for you and it took me years to finally find you here, to finally get back to doing what I was suppose to all along…I’m sorry I never should have left you alone” then that’s something else! 😡
