Hm. It does come off a bit high and mighty, snobbish in a way … I better stop thinking about it or I’ll end up not liking this scene and I do actually really like it. 😉
Yeah I really like it too I think that scene showed more of Snow in MM than we’ve seen up to that point

steliokontos, that last post of yours needs to be hidden with spoiler tags!
Don’t you love it when you spend ages getting the wording just right in a post and then the page doesn’t load properly when you hit submit and you lose the whole thing. Grrrr, who wants custody of my stupid computer?
Oops thanks for that I changed it to avoid further damage lol, yeah I’ve been getting loading errors but my iPad seems like it saves what I tpe so I haven’t lost anything yet!

Here is a quote from episode 19 “The Return” where Mr. Gold is talking to Booth after Booth tries to control him with the knife.
Rumple: “That this knife can not harness any magic in this world because there is no magic in this world.”
As we have found out through episode 17 “Hat Trick,” Emma had the power to create a magic hat because she has brought magic into this world because of being unaffected by the curse. Since her arrival, time has begun and Regina is loosing her control (much to Mr. Gold’s benefit).
So the question is, WILL WE SEE EMMA TAKE POSSESSION OF THE KNIFE AND CONTROL THE DARK ONE aka MR. GOLD IN STORYBROOKE BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON!!!
I think as we had a listener suggest, Mr. Gold may take Henry in the custody battle soon to come. However, driven by the love of her child, Emma will go to great lengths to control Mr. Gold to get her son back.
Think about it, Emma did tell Regina at the end of this episode, “I am about to start playing an entirely different game” 😀
If anyone can make the knife work it’s Emma but with the custody thing I’d much rather see her win it without Gold. I don’t know as the symbol for good it seems wrong for her to win by harassing dark magic

Wow. The Pinocchio story actually looks pretty interesting. If the writers play their cards right, it can turn into a brilliant story. 😉
I’m glad Mr. Gold turned down Emma’s case. It’s better that she fights this battle on her own. Well, I guess it won’t be entirely on her own. She eventually seeks the help of August. Another reason why I’m glad Emma won’t be working with Mr. God is because it would be ridiculously out of character for her. Didn’t she just get finished accusing him of kidnapping Kathryn a week ago? Why is she seeking the help of someone who she suspects kidnapped one of her friends? Come on now Emma. 😆
The scene between MM and Regina actually made me have more sympathy for Regina rather than Mary Maragert. However, I’m not sure if that was the writers intention.
I think it’s because the stakes are so high again, she had Gold help her for sheriff that worked all be it with shady methods but she beat Regina. So the next time with MM the stakes are higher but she needed to win & even though she knew what aligning herself with Mr. Gold again entailed she does it because she can’t afford to lose. So now with arguably even higher stakes & again in a position where she has to win the only way she knows how to do that against Regina at this point is with Mr. Gold’s help; bottom line she’s lacking the confidence in her own power it’s the same reason she looks so overwhelmed when she realizes its on her to save everyone she hasn’t completely realized what she’s capable of.

ParticipantAccording to the new sneak peek I'm getting my wish no mr. Gold in her corner for this one!

I would rather Emma beat Regina on her own anyways. So lets see it.
Right? it’s like what Henry had said about how good cant beat evil cause evil fights dirty? Well even though Emma won those two times it’s kind of tainted because she had Rumplestiltskin in her corner to fight dirty for her. For this won lets finally see just see good win! 😀

Rumpel is wearing Charming’s cloak when Charming swings the sword at him. I am assuming he is going to give it back so that it fixes the continuity issue that he gave it to Rumpel in this episode, but was wearing it in Price of Gold. Maybe.
I also wonder if Maleficent is the dragon or is with the dragon that Charming killed.
And i wonder if Charming is asking Snow to marry her because he seems to be down on one knee before he kisses her.
I think you may be right about that it’ll be interesting how it all fits together though

Wow, thanks for posting! I’m really excited for this episode now more than ever! After watching these clips, I think that the pages August must have added were a new ending to the classic story of Pinocchio! August wants Emma to know what really happened to that puppet in FTL. He is clearly setting the stage for Emma to believe that he is Pinocchio. Also, I think that the new ending that August added was how he came to our world to protect baby Emma.
Also, the clip of MM and Regina echoes the words that Maleficent warned would happen: Regina has a hole in her heart that cannot be filled. Also, like in episode 8 when SW forgave the EQ, so is MM forgiving Regina for framing her for a murder.
Also, David must be really insecure to flit from one woman to the next. I know he is only trying to be nice, but Regina is playing him big time! The card that said “mom” on the outside but was blank on the inside. Regina obviously forged it and claimed Henry was neglecting her to make David sympathize and stay for dinner.
Finally, I wonder if Mr. Gold is declining Emma’s request to gain custody of Emma because he wants Emma to put he trust in August instead. In episode 19, Mr. Gold told August that Emma trust him, and perhaps Mr. Gold hopes that Emma will start to believe and trust August more. Otherwise, I’m not sure what Mr. Gold’s game is and why he’d turn down Emma’s request. Maybe he truly doesn’t want Henry to get hurt, which is what I predicted would happen if Emma rashly goes head-to-head with Regina. Still another thought is that Mr. Gold has another intentional reason for Regina to maintain custody over Henry. Perhaps it is a key part to breaking the curse.
Maybe he thinks if Emma wins custody she’ll want to take Henry out of Storybrooke? Or like I thought maybe he doesn’t want to keep fighting her battles for her. Emma has gotten his help both times she’s beaten Regina. If she’s the savior she’s got to beat her on her own at some point she has to fight and win her battles against Regina herself & why not start with this one.

ParticipantI was hoping that Emma would fight the custody battle without Mr. Gold looks like I’m gonna get my wish, love how Mary Margaret says “he’s with his mother” I was looking forward to how Pinocchio would look I’m not disappointed. Also caught that hint about August being Pinocchio it seems like something with his story was changed or left out, guess that would answer what August did to the book wouldn’t it! Nice job finding the YouTube versions I just wanted to be the one to post them first 😎

Here’s the thing: Storybrooke has featured Jiminy Cricket prominently, Geppetto from time to time, and even someone we think could very well, somehow, have been Monstro (if a man can be turned into a cricket, why not a whale?). Meanwhile Pinocchio himself has been very oddly absent in Storybrooke … or has he? From the standpoint of putting together a complete story I don’t know why else Pinocchio would be missing unless there have been casting issues or he’s somewhere outside of Storybrooke for some other reason.
While watching the ep., as soon as Mother Superior said that he’d found his father but hadn’t spoken to him yet, I realized it was very likely not really Bae. I whispered to Dan that it could still go either way (Bae or Pinocchio) and he looked at me like I was crazy. 😉 I was right about the not-Bae part, but we’ll likely know in a few days about the rest!
I actually didn’t like the Pinocchio theory either, at first, but that’s largely because it’s not my favorite story. Someone earlier pointed out that they make the fairytales quite a bit more awesome, in general, so even if August is Pinocchio I’m sure we’ll enjoy the story.
I posted this on another thread, but I’ll repost it here too, Jiminy was turned back from a cricket into a man, it seems previous enchantments could be eliminated in SB, sooooo if August is Pinocchio then he must be changing back into a puppet- if he isnt August then Pinno will either be puppet somewhere in SB or is bumping around our world somewhere.
Personally Im really hoping August isn’t Pino- I really dislike that theory, its got so many holes the writers will be having to make some pretty massive circumstances appear outta who knows where to make me believe he could have been totally ‘saved’, yet never went & found Emma inorder to ‘break’ the curse & save his farther/everyone if it is the case.
I also wont ‘like’ August anymore if he is Pino – I hate Pino as a character he’s totally obnoxious & arrogant in the original tales (he really doesn’t need to be pushed into doing bad things- he wants to do bad things!) – Disney ended up totally changing his personalty for his cartoon as even he didnt ‘like’ Pino 😉I’m not familiar with the original story but I liked the Disney version, wow that donkey part freaked me the hell out!
