@Jenna_B Oh believe me my head does end up spinning quite a bit. I have a method to sorting out stuff a lot of it is distinguishing interpretation from first hand facts. Then going by my own hierchy of credibility Adam and the cast are at the top of that and yes they can be misleading but they seldom say something that is directly not true. Â From there the paps and their reporting I put more stock in their pictures than what they say they see or more importantly how they see it. That’s where a lot of trouble comes from like for example when Vancity said there was a long loving mutual hug. People flocked to Adam’s twitter with “why are they together?!” If you just see the hug though you make up your own mind about how it looks and what it means. If you start forming theories from speculating upon other people’s speculation it’s not quite as solid as when you see something for yourself. Which is why I have so many pics in my theory so people can see what I see for themselves and see how I made my conclusion and they can make their own.
They mentioned in one of the interviews that this death has been planned since the end of S2. So it stands to reason they had fleshed out some sort of outline/plot points/very rough draft of that scene.
Really? They’ve been wanting to kill off this character for that long? Still the way it sounded from how Adam described it being emotional to write I think that lends itself to being something more complete. Â I agree what MP said to I think this is something they didn’t want to leak out and the PA’s tweets forced them to tip their hand.
I forgot to ask, what are you all’s predictions for the premiere?
I think we’re all gonna love it, and that this is gonna be one of our favorite episodes along with Good Form and Tallahassee. 🙂
I’m gonna be pretty ticked (yet relieved?) if it ends up that Ruby is the character that dies. She USED to be a regular character (season 2) and then just disappeared. So bringing her back and killing her off to never have her return again would take care of all the “what happened to Ruby” quips. But that would be a low blow to all the fans freaking out during the hiatus.
aside from that I think Ruby is only in the finale so bring her back in the most important episode of the season just to have a body to throw at this thing? I think they’re really better writers than that!
Not the finale per se, but I’m saying that we don’t know what they write when they write it. We don’t know how A and E have decided to approach this. It’s possible that they sat down and wrote it out over the summer for all we know and showed it to the cast in order to let them understand their character journeys for all of S3. We simply don’t know.
Well I did some snooping and I mean he posted that he was working on the finale on the 26th. I mean it’s completely possible that they write things out of order  they move lines and all that I just think it seems odd for them to decide on a character death before the story arc began then write in the middle to fill in the gaps and lead up to that. I don’t know maybe they decided before that this character is done and instructed everybody to write it out toward that but they way they said seems as the developed the story this is where we ended up.
