^^^ the finale? I thought Adam did confirm that he hadn’t written the finale by that point in time I’ll have to re-check the dates to make sure though. From what I’ve understood there’s a fair amount of collaboration but I mean yeah what goes in the war room is anybody’s guess.

I did. I think you presented an unbiased objective look at it, which I appreciate. When it comes to this spoiler I am trying very hard not to say anything at all. Mostly, I’m just angry at A and E for thinking that killing a character is a good idea. I will never believe that they couldn’t think up more story for that character or that this character’s journey is “done.”
Thanks RG I really tried to put a lot of work into being objective. Yeah I agree I don’t see how they felt that any of the main casts stories are just done there’s possibilities for all of them. I mean there’s so much to expand on with them.
^^^ I mean they do collaborate though so they might not have written the whole episode but they did work on that particular part. Didn’t they do stuff for Skin Deep even though Jane is credited with writing the episode?
So if they did help write that particular thing Rose could have seen the script for that episode and it could have been for any of the episodes that we’re being worked on during that time.
I don’t think we should rule out the death being in a non A & E credited episode.
that Rose comment is a pretty fair piece of evidence then that the death is not in the finale since she says she saw the script and at that point the finale hadn’t been written yet.

Sadly, I’m going to be returning to my new schedule and watching Thursday night – but it’ll be twice Once because Wonderland is on Thursday nights as well

Sometimes writers will write a big scene ahead of time because it needs a lot of work or revision or they want to make sure they really nail it. So it’s possible it was written by A and E already but not inserted into a script until a season finale. Just something else to consider
yeah I thought about that and I really didn’t feel confident enough making that jump so that’s why I didn’t include it in my “official” theory. I just think they way they said it to me doesn’t quite fit with them writing an end point like that decided that this characters story will be over and filling in the rest to meet at that point? I think at that point there was a few episodes that hadn’t been written yet right?

I think Belle is a very strong character………she’s just ill-used by the show. In the ONCE UPON A FAN interview, Adam/Eddy made it sound like they’d already written the death, so it’s possible they wrote the death even in someone else’s episode (that is, written b y someone else). Emilie’s tweeted recently and she made it sound like she’s been filming…..she asked what she would do on her weekends off from ONCE now that House of Cards is done for the season. That makes it sound like she’s been filming. Also, apparently the actress who tweeted MRJ was used as a photo double for Belle…..probably that day or around that same day. Photo Double means that, instead of bringing in the actor/actress for something very minor, they use someone who looks physically like them – at least from a distance. The actress apparently said she also photo doubled for Lana and Jen.
my updated theory fits with what you’re saying about that actress Ashley McDonald is her name I guessed that she was subbing in for Emilie because they’re the same height but I guess wigs and heels and stuff you can make up for 3 inches.
One thing I didn’t include in my theory was that since the spoiler was released it’s been talked about in like past tense form. Like I remember them saying it was so emotional for them to write. That it’s something they decided to do, if it’s in the finale they wouldn’t have written it yet and from the time the spoiler was released to the finale was a fair number of episodes the way they talked about it seems like the story took them to the death at that point not like after these episodes we haven’t filmed yet it will lead to the death when we eventually write it.
I see that the excitement is getting to all of us. WOOHOO! 5 more days! Not to brag but I’ll be watching at 7pm Eastern and then again at 8pm on ABC because the Canadian station has been pretty lousy on the promo front this year. The Captain Swan podcasters mentioned something about a live chat that’s been going on during the episodes on their website. Has anyone been on that chat and is it worth checking out? It sound really bad, but I just don’t want to come on here and have to read endless negative comments about CS during the broadcast in this chat.
particularly with this episode I think we’re gonna have a lot to celebrate so I’m really hoping we have a positive atmosphere on here Sunday night. I really don’t want to c people just raining on our parade.
I wish we all lived near each other. A live, in person OUaT 3×12 party would be so much fun. I am desparately trying to find ANYONE who wants to watch it with me – but no one will understand my particular level of excitement during the episode like all of you!
same here I really wish we could all watch it together at the same time it would be a blast having shipmates to go crazy with 🙂 we could have a a chat just for us but I think time zones and stuff just throws us off. At any rate I think we’ll all have some great reactions to come and read in our thread.
