ParticipantYou have to listen to this song!! I have no idea how to embed songs and my ipad doesn’t let me link but it’s called: Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave I used to think of it as Rumple’s song but after this last episode I swear it could be Killian’s theme song! It even talks about how he has a new name and is going home. Gah!! It’s amazing! I can’t listen to it without thinking of Killian now. I listened to it on repeat all the way home from taking my son to school. Please listen to it. And if anyone is talented with videos – make a CS video to it!! Best part of the song: “Because I don’t have to be the old man inside of me, ’cause his day is long dead and gone. Because I’ve got a new name, a new life, I’m not the same. And a HOPE that will carry me HOME. I am redeemed, you set me free.”
Very emotional! Speaking of songs, I came across this little gem yesterday, it’s cute and I thought quite apt.
What a neat little song & fitting for too 🙂

I know right- I’m hoping we eventually get a reverse scene of Killy & Emma in bed, but her parents walk in on them- time for them to have Emma “provide them a few traumatic parenthood experiences” lol Fingers crossed that they’ll actually go there
I would love to see this. Especially MM face when she finds her daughter in bed with Captain Hook and her eyes bugging out when she realizes he still has said Hook on. OMG LOL
Bahahahahahaha- now that would be AWESOME! & Charming saying “it isnt impressive how she can still give us traumatic parenthood experiences at this stage in the game!” LOL :p
It’s the whole hook thing that would really sell that- esp after JMo saying theres something sexy about the hook LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

Participantso I was thinking that Emma really needs to tell Henry what’s what. I just realized that Walsh is in town. What is keeping him ( Walsh – not Monkey Man ) from going up to Henry saying that he followed Emma because he loves her and cannot let her go. That he wants Henry to help him get flowers and pick a romantic restaurant etc … then Henry knap him!
Except I think Emma thinks Walsh s dead- she saw him turn to smoke after she batted him of the roof. So I doubt she even knows he’s alive- is he still alive?

ParticipantPlus he can teach Henry to smoulder.
Those poor little girls won’t stand a chance
LOL- no they wont 🙂
Cheating at dice and driving are useful skills and all, but I’d like to know who you all think Henry would go to for advice on girls, David or Killian? I personally can’t decide between the two.
I would think Henry would go to Hook. Except for the driving lessons Henry thinks the Charmings are boring. Plus I’m sure Henry can see that Hook and his mom practically live in the same physical 4 foot square… they share the same breath. if anyone can get his mom doing stuff like that MUST have some charm and way with the ladies. on a sidenote I would love Henry to ask his mom if Killian is the reason she turned Walsh down. Henry is pretty observant and I’m sure he can see the way the two of them are around each other. Killian shows up and Walsh got the boot.
I love to see that as well 😉

ATM, I’d say Killian- he has no idea Charming is really his Grandfather & I think see’s him as boring (outside of letting him drive that one time). If he had his memories, I’d be inclined to say Charming over Killian, as they have already had a years bonding, which started off with him living with David while Snow & Emma where stuck in FTL.
The next thing we need to see is how he & Robin get on- I think he’ll love Robin, who wouldnt want to be taught how to use a high powered cross bow 😉

Oh gosh it really is!
UGH! Wish I had brought sony or adobe MM now! I can just ‘see’ all the clips you’d use & where! UGH! Someone really needs to make a CS fanvid to it-it almost makes itself with this song!
Thanks for sharing 🙂

ParticipantAlso about the dice… it’s a guy thing c’mon get over it anyone being picky about that is just nitpicking Hook’s other questionable decisions I can understand but Captain Cobra bonding over dice?
I know right?! I was shocked to hear people even have a problem with it at all.
I have 3 brothers & they all cheated at games as kids- I was forever calling them out at it & they thought it was great fun trying to pull the wool over us (my sister & I) lol.
I dont get why people have a problem with Hook & dice, but Charming is ok to take a 12yr old driving for the 1st time through the center of town?! Double standards much!

ParticipantI have to laugh about people freaking out about the cheating at dice thing. I am an only child. So when I had a boy I had no idea what to do with one. When my son started to play boards games, card games, video games, ANY games my husband had to assure me that my child was not a psychopath because he cheated all the time or randomly made up his own rules as the game went on – it’s just how boys play. Of course, when we were playing as a family we had to point out “No way can you cheat.” But my hubby was basically “All boys do it, they grow out of it when a bigger kid catches them and calls them on it or a when the more popular kid gets to make up the rules.” So basically Captain Hook is the Big Bad of the sea – no one is going to call him out on cheating at dice. He’s the equivalent of the most popular kid who always gets to make up his own rules. But he also isn’t stupid. He knows it’s cheating, he understands the rules of life – he is big on “good form” afterall. That scene was meant to show bonding between Killian and Henry. Keep in mind that two men are in charge of this show. As my hubby points out, that was Killian being a “dad” hanging out with Henry and passing down a traditional thing guys do together. The kid has never had a man in his life – even when he did know Neal he knew him for all of about 6 hot seconds. Trust me, as a woman there are PLENTY of times I freak out about stuff my son says or does but men will stop me and tell me I HAVE to let it go because it is a guy thing and I DON’T understand. And I’m talking about pastors at my church telling me that I need to let him be a guy. So I have no concerns that Henry is going to end up incarcerated due to cheating at dice or banditry.
Haha, it’s funny you should say that, as I cant have children, but many of my friends have them (I tend to make friends with more mature people, so many have teenage kids) & the things their sons say & do sometimes, shock me- but as their parents say- it’s what boys do, they like to shock you etc.
I guess it’s how males learn what is & isnt acceptable around females- their parents either ignore it or laugh at them… while I’m sitting there trying not to die of shock lol If they push it to far 9 times out of 10 they realise what they’ve done & apologise without needing prompting from parents- so what they say about it being boys way of learning about social boundaries etc must have some truth to it.

ParticipantThe sword fight was pretty fun & yeah it did look like Hook was fighting his cartoon self
This is an interesting remark. Like others I had indeed noticed when those stills were released that BB looked a lot like the traditional Hook we know. So maybe this duel was supposed to depict the inner “duel” Hook’s having with himself, with BB representing the old, jaded, revenge seeking, bad guy Hook (the pirate aspect of him). Like he’s LITERALLY fighting with himself. Be the good guy who helps a woman find her love again, or be the pirate who only looks out for himself. Or I’m overthinking things again.
Not over thinking, I thought the same thing.
As for Blackbeard, I dont think he was ever meant as more than a one-off character and vague reference to the book. And from a character perspective I think Hook 100% made the right call there. Hook could not let someone get away with stealing his ship (and his reputation). There was no guarantee that Blackbeard would’ve actually led him to prince Eric. More likely he’d have left him on a remote island somewhere without ship or crew (and his crew would never follow him again after that). Ariel’s reaction seemed a bit over the top to me. I can understand she was angry, but I’m sure Hook would’ve continued helping her search for Eric, even without Blackbeard if she’d stuck around. By the way, did anyone else expect her to become shark-food when she jumped into the water like that?
Agreed & LOL, yes I did! However I also chuckled & rolled my eyes at the ‘sharks’ eating BB- they must have millions of piranha type sharks just floating about waiting for bleeding things to hit the water- esp for them to have devoured a whole adult male human & all this clothes in seconds, with no blood in the water 😉

ParticipantLook at Emma dressed all girly and whatnot…thank goodness, I was NOT loving last ep’s Lumberjack Look.
