Question: why do they even bother putting a shirt on Hook?

I know right- I’m hoping we eventually get a reverse scene of Killy & Emma in bed, but her parents walk in on them- time for them to have Emma “provide them a few traumatic parenthood experiences” lol 😉

@HappyEndings – the only other place I really go is Tumblr…but I don’t post – way too confusing for me! But I follow some blogs – including Obisgirl and KJ’s. Good stuff. But this is where I go to chat and share my thoughts.

Do you all have another Forum that you use or is this it?

I used go to 2 FB groups when people start hating on our ship or Hook on this site- esp in chat (its hard to ignore stuff said in chat, as we have no choice but to see whats said 🙁 ). But one of those groups has a very negative person there- she’s always going on about how Once has low ratings & is in danger of being cancelled- when that isnt true, so that drives me bonkers & I dont visit that particular group much anymore. The other group is great & is chocka full of CSer’s & other ships fans- mostly Snowing, Rumbelle & OQ fans, with the odd SF fan.

This is the only forum I visit though- I like the people in this thread & have enjoyed the ride from the beginning with them, so while I get chased off this site sometimes (just due to some less the civil people), I do tend to come back eventually- even if it’s only to this thread 😉

She is doing a great job in my opinion.  She is mean and you dont want to root for her and you want them to take her down… hard.  She isnt a Villain I am hoping finds redemption… I cant wait until they dump a bucket of water on her.

Yes she is- at the start I was wondering why the cast all said she was scary- I mean creepy? Yes, but scary? Not IMO.

Now though, she takes the cake on biggest & best sadistically, deranged, psychopath on the show. She sells it beautifully IMO- great acting on her part 🙂

LOVE it! I remember talking about how important having someone like Hook is to Emma in your life, way back in S2. I also remember talking about how they each bring out the best in each other, so it’s great to hear JMO confirm what we’ve been saying since the beginning of CS 🙂 *Cookies & rum for all*

The being sent to page 2 instead of 1 happens because this thread has reached over 900 pages. It did the same with the SF thread. It’s normal. Also I’d like to mention how friendly this thread is at the moment, even to a non-diehard CS shipper.

Thanks for that POM- the less than friendly attitude in some threads can be a little off putting, so I’m glad that in here at least, we are more tolerant to others than they are of us- even if we do let of steam & have to have a bit of a rant about the treatment our ship & good captain cop, on occasions 😉

I liked the last Hook centric more than Good Form, despite it having no Rumple and very little Belle. Hook has grown on me as a character. The actual flirting bit wasn’t that bad within the context of the episode. I loved Hook fighting for the Jolly Roger.

Funny you say that, because so did I 🙂 Dont get wrong, I loved JR, but this episode really moved us forward & opened up Killians journey IMO- he came to a cross rds, choose a path he thought he could live with & turns out it was the wrong on & he cant- showing how his love for Emma has fundamentally changed him- for the better. Just like in that interview where JMO says Killian wants Emma to be the best version of herself & brings out the best in Emma, Emma wants Killian to be the best version of himself & brings out the best in him & this ep showed that beautifully. I cant wait to see his progression from that hopeless, 3mth in period of the missing yr, to the 1yr period where he’s hopeful & believes Emma is his TL.

Here’s a thought though, why doesn’t Regina put the kiss curse temporarily on Belle (with Belle’s consent) then have Belle kiss Rumple thus taking him out of the equation in the fight with Zelena?

I have to admit I have a bit of a head canon about this.  Actually several different versions of head canons.  This is where the “Love is strength” comes back into play for me.  I don’t think the WW can steal Emma’s magic via Killy’s lips because love is strength so I think the power of TLK would trump Greenie’s kissing curse. So I think poor Killy will have angst over this for awhile and then Emma will be like “No problem, pucker up – TLK and all remember?”  In which case Killian will be shocked 1) because she actually loves him at all and 2) because he will discover why TLK didn’t work this first time.  OR  Something will happen and they will decide to go ahead and kiss anyway – like if they both think they are going to die or something – and they are BOTH taken by surprise that the kissing curse doesn’t work and that their kiss is TLK.  Not really surprised so much that they are TL but more surprised by the fact that their TLK was more powerful than the kissing curse because Emma’s love is strength.

Oh, wouldnt it be great if WW goes after Henry, Hook stops her- just, but he’s injured & Emma simply kisses him on impulse, breaking the lip curse & proving they are both TL 😉

I firmly believe that we have been given a few hints and seen a few things now that show us that Emma uses her love for and thoughts of Killian as the stimulus for her strongest powers.

Absolutely Agree with you here, this is my thinking as well. It’s also more than coincidence, that Emma become more open to letting the past goe & embracing her ‘feelings’ for Killy AFTER her magic lesson with Regina- near death experiences can really wake you up to whats important to you & near death experiences what involve using magic that impresses the EQ to annoyance that you’ve suppressed/wasted it, while thinking of all the things you ‘should’ have done/embraced before dying is another, powerful motivator & eye opener 😉

Because she relies on HIM, her magic can overcome any curse placed on his love because just like when Cora was unable to rip Emma’s heart out – the WW won’t be able to take her power away because it is grounded in THEIR love.  Killian NEEDS to know this.  I think this is what will help him overcome his self-loathing.  He knows he loves Emma but so far he doesn’t think TLK worked.  People talk about Snowing “being” TL.  Emma and Killian don’t realize that they ARE TL.  Killian IS TL.

The odd thing is until this last episode I was convinced that Emma was the one who was going to be the one dragging her feet to admitting she loves Killian but now I have the feeling that Emma is the one who is going to recognize a whole lot faster that they are TL and I think she is going to have to convince Killian that he is worthy of her love.  The only way I think she can do that is for him to realize that she thinks of him to boost her powers.

Yep, I’m with here as well- exactly what I’ve been thinking too.
