The fun of Hook & Emma is the slow burn. It doesn’t need to go any faster than it is, in my opinion. In fact, it will be interesting to see how he handles Neal’s death the more we learn what exactly he knows about everything that happened in the last year, and in next week’s episode. I’m guessing he doesn’t take it well, and perhaps that is why he’s charged with Henry-duty. It’d be pretty tough for me to believe Hook would be willing to stay away from Emma at such a dangerous time…but having the responsibility of taking care of Bae’s son just might be equally important to him now, given CaptainFire’s discussion in the hospital. Which, frankly, I love.

I agree for the most part, but what I mean by dating (& I actually see Snow & Charming/ Rumple & Belle in the same way as well)- is actually being an “official” couple for a number of episodes, BEFORE they decide to tie the knot 😉
I dont want to see them decide, oh lets give a relationship a shot- lets get married type thing- that is rushing into things IMO, I want them to work together as a official/cannon couple 1st.
Look if you’re going to start, in chat, KNOWING who is there, then in my opinon its open season. Inside a thread is one thing especially in youre in a shipper thread. But in chat? You gotta be prepared to support your arguments or you WILL get called on it.
You know what helps that? Most of the stuff we say isn’t fanon it’s canon they can say were interpreting what we see but i mean what we’ve seen are signs that Emma & Killian are being brought closer & closer together and they end up close to each other isn’t that just seeing the story for what it was? There was an email from a CS shipper that kind of made us look like know it alls, they said that CSers have been more in point with predicting the show. I’d say that it isn’t so much that we’re better at predicting it’s just that when it comes to good things coming for Hook & Emma a lot of non CSers are not especially open to those things happeneing so they don’t predict them. I know that the argument against us is that we would get stuff wrong if Hook were to so something bad. The thing is though the reason I think he wouldn’t willingly do something negative in the future is because of the character development that Hook has gone through that not everyone is willing to accept. At this point for Hook to go all S2 Hook & team up with the evil side again would be so far OOC for me it just wouldn’t make sense in the slightest unless there was an alternate explanation.
Agreed- it would be jumping the shark character wise IMO.

While I dont agree with all your interpretations/opinions of Hook’s actions, I totally respect that is how you see them & thank you for taking the time to come share your thoughts & hopes with us 🙂
However Hook has grown on me again. I liked his snark this half, he grew on me so much that I didn’t actually want Hook to be the death anymore. Quiet Minds was a great episode for Hook. He made up with Neal and admitted they’d been silly fighting over a woman, the CaptainFire moment was so good that it’s a shame we didn’t get more scenes like that between Hook and Neal. He apologised to Belle which was a big must do for Hook IMO. I liked the apology because, whilst it wasn’t a “How have I wronged thee, let me count the ways” type of apology, it was an in character apology from a character who admitted 3 episodes earlier that he doesn’t apologise very often so for him to even say sorry is a big step forward for Hook. I also liked how Belle did give him some crap for it which he deserved and Hook knew he deserved. I can genuinely say I like Hook after this episode. My hope for Hook now is that the writers don’t try and push the CS stuff too early after Neal’s death. Let Hook be there for Emma, let him support her and comfort her if needed, but don’t make him look like he is trying to come on to Emma whilst she is still emotionally vulnerable after Neal’s death.
I can say I agree with you 100% on all of this- I was actually very surprised, but very happy we got that apology- esp since we havent yet seen Regina or Rumple really apologise for all the hurt they’ve caused everyone- esp the Charming Family. I thought it was going to be yet another thing that is glossed over & never addressed (like Snowing’s reaction to Neal allowing & leaving Emma in jail was etc.)
I get you on the not rushing the CS stuff- I dont want that either & agree with @obisgirl, Hook rushing into a relationship with Emma would be very out of character at this point in time.
As to the other stuff I can understand why some people have run hot and cold on Hook because he hasn’t been consistent until he gave up his revenge. I think a lot of people want to break it down into he is bad or he is good but really he was neither (imo). He was on Team Hook and he didn’t really care which side he was assisting as long as it got him closer to his goal. This was clearly shown when he switched sides in Tallahassee then switched sides again when Emma betrayed him. I think that is what really makes him the Anti-Hero and I always kind of thought his revenge was borne out of love and therefore not as bad (though I don’t think Milah was worth it). Perhaps that is just me with my shipper goggles though.

On an unrelated note do you guys thing it is possible for Emma to “heal” Hook’s hand one day when she masters her powers? I know Rumple fixed Whale but he still actually had the arm on ice. I wonder too if he would even want it healed since he might consider it a part of him at this point. He certainly seemed to miss it when he had to wear the hand attachment instead.
I honestly go back & forth on this- hand or hook…. I just dont know if they’d ever have him actually ‘give up’ the Hook, as then he wouldnt be iconic ‘Hook’ character I guess, I do think it’d be nice for Colin to work with both of his hands free though lol 😉

I keep seeing the same thing around about Mr. Darcy. I’m just so thrown as to what could be going onIt is weird- I dont know what to think tbh- not sure if it really is a CS anything (in real time) or what is going on- maybe the timeline is split- or this is what could have been orrrrr ……. *mind blown with all the possibilities A&E could use*
