Ok, on another note… costumes – seriously, what is with Emma’s style in 3B?????????? Plaid???????? Really??????!
I’m trying to figure out if I want to see Hook in ‘modern, everyday’ clothing, but I dont think I really want that tbh- Not sure if anyone here watches the new Sleepy Hollow, but Ichabod’s outfit totally ‘fits’ for him, the one time they treated us to him in ‘modern’ clothing (shirt & skinny jeans), sure it was fun to see (for all of 5secs), but it just didnt fit the character- like at all lol & I’m glad they’re keeping him in his period clothing for now.
With Hook, I think it’d be nice to see him in ‘on trend, modern’ clothing once, but then back to same old costume, eventually relaxing into more ‘normal’ clothing, but retains his ‘characters roots’, what I mean is, rather than skinny jeans & tank top, having a similar style/cut clothing to his current costume, but in more ‘modern/normal’ fabrics- so his standard shirt &/or vest (in whatever colour/s or pattern/plain), black? (trench?) coat, maybe dark blue Jeans & a brown leather belt, with belt buckle etc. Then we get a more ‘normal’ looking Killian, but he doesnt loose his essential FLT character ‘look’, which I dont want to see happening (I dont care so much with the others as they all had 28yrs of ‘normal’ modern clothing, but if you look a it, each person in SB, has their ftl character’s ‘style,’ flavoring their SB look as well 😉 )

I have little niggles on & off over it been Killy for the event- mostly because of the stupid dream I had last yr (why couldnt my 1st & only Once related dream be something NICE!?! *sigh*) & I dont trust Adam & Eddy not to do something ‘out of the box’, just to keep us pooping ourselves from now on.
It doesnt make sense to me, story wise, for it to be anyone other than either Neal or Belle though- If it was Killy it’ll only put Emma through hell & mean Emma’s shot at TL is all but over IMO, as she will be stuck with her 2nd choice in Neal & that’s only even IF she eventually relents to all the pressure to try again & risks ‘going’ there again, despite all the hurt & pain he causes her.
I also dont see how it being Killy would move the story forward at all either- Neal yes, Belle maybe, but Hook? Nope.
I almost dont know if I want to watch which ever ep it is, it’s really weird to want something to come back on cause you love it, but at the same time dont want to watch it, because it’s going to be an emotional ‘Hiroshima size’ bombing & you dont yet know if you’ll be watching the fallout or taking part in it yourself!
If it did happen to be Killian for the event (& this point I’d say it’s less than 1% chance of that happening), I think I’d end up sitting the rest of the season out tbh- I’d catch up by marathoning (we’ll pretend thats a word for now lol) it over a weekend over the break & decide then if I’d watch S4 (if there is a S4) or not.

*sigh* I HATE when they answer Qs like that- If you wont give a straight up answer- like S2 or S3 or whatever, just dont answer it! It’s not hard really :/

The fallout from this is going to be very bad. It all depends at this point on how the event is written.
I totally agree- I really think confirming this spoiler/leak has backed them into a corner, if it is someone wanting to leave the show, they cant really say anything, without fear of fans tearing him/her apart. They cant really give ‘who’ it is up now either, as fans will simply go off the deep end hating on everyone for it- story driven or not.
If nothing else this, it’s almost certain this spoiler may just go down as the WORST timed spoiler, in the entire history of spoilers ever!
The only reason I can see it working if it’s used as a hiatus buster during the break like as a mini series thing. They can do a short run of episodes explaining Hook’s arrival and escape from Neverland, they can do Bar’s time in Neverland and complete that over a short run of episodes. Just as a one shot throw if they need another hiatus buster they can do another one shot with other characters like for instance MAP, they can show the rescue of Prince Phillip, Mulan’s story, the original Sleeping Beauty story and complete that for a short hiatus run in the winter. There’s a lot of side stories they can bust out into hiatus breakers. You got to admit it would be nice to have one of those during this winter hiatus. From those two we could have Once Upon a Time In Neverland, and Once Upon A Dream.
That could work, but I’m talking actual ‘spin off’ attempts that a select group of fans wont drop as a way to make Hook’s death a good/ok thing, not a bunch of 1 off mini series.
I’m only interested in the context of NL backstory with regards to the characters story they are telling now- honestly I doubt they’ll ever expand on it, much like we’ll never have Charming’s time learning to be a prince, Snow’s time learning to be a bandit, Emma’s traumatic childhood & teen age years- or even post Neal/pre bailbonds stage explained- I mean we still dont know the importance of the whistle the huntsmen gave Snow, Emma’s tattoo, who wrote the book & why- whatever happened to those things… there are a heap of back stories we will never know about & honestly I doubt they’ll have the time or the money to do them as break busters (much as some fans would like them)- I’m guessing they’ll just stick with what they know brings in the cash fro a long while after WL 😉
Honestly- I cant really say if I personally, would watch many if any short ‘adventures of’ spin offs, even if only 6eps long- I watch the show for the interactions of my favs- take them out of the mix & there are far, far to many plot holes & loose strings for me to buy into lol. I dont know if the show would work if they had different actors for the big 6 (or 8 depending on how you want to look at them lol).
I mean I’ve done really well during this break- I’ve only had one moment of ‘withdrawal’ from the show- there are other good shows on TV, so it’s not like Once is the only thing on these days, there are other new & established shows on TV, which can be watched, rather than watching a sub-par (IMO) spin off, but that’s just me- I’d rather they focus on Once & have it be the best show it can be, than split their focus.
