THAT is the story I actually “believe” in!
I know right- it’s the story that kept me interested in once, when it went stale for me last season- in fact the only reason I’m still a fan IS Hook & CS. To me they are the ‘real world’ Snowing/TL fairytale story 🙂

Wow, lots has gone on since I was lurking yesterday lol
I’m not worried about either promo pic – 1) The Tink/Hook pic is geared at getting everyone to wonder what will go down between CS in the mid season ep (since ALL casual viewers I know of ‘get’ Emma & Hook are dancing around being a ‘offical’ couple, due to the way the show has already portrayed them both) & 2) Neal’s (aka NealPersonBagelFire) poster I think refers to his character in general- like maybe he is getting a “2nd” chance, NOT to make the same bad mistakes he KEEPS making – repeatedly & a 2nd chance with his father/family. If it was meant to be for the benefit of his relationship with Emma, then this fan based poster would be more accurate chances wise-
As he has already had at least 2nd chances, if not 3rd chances already.I also think Emma & Neal mirror their parents journey’s in many ways as well-
Emma grew up without parents, due to Regina ~ Snow grew up without her mother due to Cora
Emma loved Neal, but he betrayed/sent her to prison & abandoned her- leaving her deeply wounded ~ Snow loved Regina, but she betrayed/wanted her in prison or kicked out of the kingdom- deeply hurting her
Emma had lost faith in trusting men or romantic Love until Hook/Killian proved otherwise ~ Snow had lost faith in trusting men or “romantic Love” until Charming proved otherwise.
Emma meet Hook in a VERY similar way (right down trapping the other & demanding a quest in order to get what the other wants & a bashing scene), that Snowing meet.
Emma & Hook’s starting to feel a strong connection for each other, which was intensified/deepened when thrown into dangerous missions together- Like Snowing.
Hook having to win over Emma’s family head (Charming) ~ Charming had to win over Snow’s family head (Grumpy).
Neal’s father abandoned him ~Rumple’s father abandoned him
Neal allowed his fears (his father) to taint his relationship with Emma & caused him to leave her ~ Rumple allowed his fears (cowardice/death) to taint his relationship with his wife & cause her to leave him
Neal professes to love someone (Emma), yet doesnt listen to what she says ~ Rumple professed to love Milah, but refused to listen to what she wanted
Neal loved Emma, yet got engaged to another person, whom he truly loved, rather than trying to over come his old habits & try again ~ Rumple loved Milah, yet he killed her rather than over coming his old habits & then fell in love with Cora- whom he truly loved.
Neal tries & wants to do the right thing, but ends up choosing the easy or less honorable way to go about it ~ Rumple tries & sometimes wants to do the right thing, but pretty much always goes about it the easy/ less honorable way
Now the biggest parallel I think for both is finding their TL/HEA couple-
Snowing had to endure hidden truths, great loss & tragedy, live lives of lies, live or die by the sword, give up doing what was easy, over what was right for their TL- much like Emma & Killian are being shown as doing/heading towards
Rumbelle had to endure their self-doubts, Rumple’s fears, secrets, great loss, bad habits, past actions, mistakes & loves- it took him 3 tries at love to find his ‘TL’- the one who makes him the best version of himself & Belle the strongest version of herself. Neal’s next love interest will be his 3rd love interest (the same person twice doesnt count- or Belle would be 4th lol), I’m very much interested as to whom that will be & if paralleled history will be repeated.
I’d also like to note, that as someone mentioned before (sorry I cant remember who now!) the most emotional Neal has been about Emma, was when he was talking about it with Mulan (which is why I really liked him when he was with her, I think- he became more dynamic/ real IMO).
The only thing I can add to the already well analysed happenings of E10- Is I found it VERY interesting that Emma’s “I dont get a day off to be happy” line, comes AFTER wondering if Tink & Killian had their own ‘moment’ 😉 That speaks volumes to me personally, since the last time she said she was feeling “happy” was when she kissed Killian & that is what got me wondering (& frankly loving the idea of), it being Emma, who when she finds out what Killian has done & feels (or even when she is eventually feeling ok about a relationship with someone), who says something like ‘You are what I want (or choose/need/insert whatever), so dont back off’ Or even telling him ‘Dont (back off), that’s not whats best for myself or Henry’ Or even, ‘Nobody but me, knows whats best for Henry & I- dont back out of my life’ something along those lines.
I have actually wondered if maybe the potion has something to do with the fact that Hook/Killian appears to end up in EF, with Neal, Snowing & co. I thought the hug could be a ‘You cant leave Henry, so I will go in your stead’ ‘thank you’ (I can always rely on you) emotion filled type hug- but I like Stelio’s theory, it seems to piece together all the info we’ve had so far (aside from mystery man- but that could just be who ‘cursed memory’ Emma looks up….. otherwise why in S1 would Emma have wished for family, if she felt she had a strong bond with a previous ‘brother’ figure- but then how would he be in NY…. I’ll give myself a head ache trying to think that one through at this stage I think lol).

Not really a lot to add- Kat pretty much covered my feelings on Snow & Emma’s relationship atm.
I doubt Neal will want to believe Emma’s suspicions about Henry, I am keen to see & hear Charming’s reaction (not so keen for Snow’s at this point- I loved her perceptiveness as MM, but her lack of it with regards to Neal/Emma/Killian so far, grinds), I think Killian will be a little taken aback by Emma’s sense at 1st (not majorly so, more thoughtful, like ‘but… didnt we just save him’, closely followed by ‘Emma thinks something is up & I know Pan is as slippery as an eel, so maybe it is’- after all he doesnt ‘know’ Henry at all, so he wouldnt be the 1st to tell if there’s something off with him- however, he might be the one to tell that “Pan, isn’t Pan” or that “Henry has Pan mannerisms”- since Killian is observant). So I’m pretty sure we are unlikely to see the “fun really begin” when they get back 😉 – Not when Emma’s spidey sense is going off, over Henry & then the next curse hitting- although I have high hopes we’ll see some “fun” beginning, after the Pan threat is actually taken out this time
Cant wait to see this weeks (next weeks for me lol) ep… I’m already not looking forward to the break & it isnt even here yet lol 😉

Ha! During the Zimbio poll when I was helping Rumbelle we found the instructional cheating video that the other ship was using to help their side cheat. Wanna know what they did when we turned over the video to them? They claimed the method didn’t work and then they took off votes from OUR side! During the wetpaint poll we notified wetpaint told them there was cheating going on and said basically there was nothing they could do about it. There was a OnceUponAFan poll a side was cheating I found a way to beat it they actually just scrapped the whole poll. My guess in the end they won’t do a thing to fix this, they’ll say they’re on top of things and not actually do anything about it.
Well that just sucks! If they dont do anything about it, it’ll just keep happening…. I wont bother voting next yr if that is the case- for anything, as it’s not really ‘peoples choice’, it becomes whoever’s the most dishonest & cheats the most choice, so that is a totally pointless exercise 🙁 What a rip!

Seriously?! That is shocking! I thought they had set it up so auto electronic voting couldnt be done :/ Seems where there is a will, there is a way
Wish the crazies would stay in their holes & under their rocks, rather than doing stupid stuff like cheating to win :/I knew they were doing something on twitter from the start, I’ve done enough of these things to know it’s always something that’s done. I just couldn’t figure out what it was exactly. People that have been in these things year after year learn to manipulate the system. The hardest thing being a new ship is catching up to the tricks that other more established ships already know. I’ve learned some things and I’ve tried to help but I mean even I only know so much and it’s not like I can reach everybody, I’ve tried to.
The next problem they have, is then to try figure out what to do about it I guess- that’d be a hard call to make, do they disqualify votes, disqualify a couple or just a percentage of votes to those couples that have been caught being cheat voted… what a nightmare, because if cheating is that rampart, whats the point for honest voters like us even bothering with PCA?!
