[adrotate group="5"]Another Snowing/CS parallel – Both Emma & Snow met Hook & Charming while they were bound to other women (Hook -Milah {in death yes, but he’s moved past her now, as evidenced by his ‘reason we are alone’ lines to Regina in Mal’s cavern} & Charming -Abigail (sp)), which both guys have let go of for their respective TL’s π

Oh, I hadn’t noticed that- I was too focused on the groupings (all 3times I’ve watched the ep lol). Snowing, Rumbelle & CS, all standing side-by-side in their little pairings π π
& A BIG (pun is intended π ) parallel we all missed …. CS & Snowing have both taken on Tiny the giant π
Oh and another Hook Emma parallel – they’ve both almost had their hearts ripped out saving a person they love- Hook by Rumple- for Milah(then she stepped in & later had her own heart ripped out), Emma by Cora (Rumple taught)- for Snow (whom afterwards Regina then ripped out her heart, but put it back in, as it being blackened, was better than her death) π
Or/& Both Emma & Hook have had Cora almost rip out their hearts too (Hook in wonderland, Emma in EF).Snow/Hook parallel is both of them have asked their respective enemies to rip out their hearts.

And yet Another parallel- this time Hook & Emma – Bae tells Hook, he is just like his father (on the JR as the creepy Lost…. Boys/young men take him) & Henry tells Emma she is just like Regina (when she lies to him about his Dad’s death) π

I’ve been stuck in bed since yesterday with a respiratory infection, so have more time than usual on my hands atm – though haven’t started viding yet as I despise using WMM π π³ (I get impatient when I’m sick), so slowly rewatching Once from the beginning….. it’s great π Will probably start uploading clips to WMM this weekend & get started on it though- it will be a VERY long slow process π

I just think she will end up looking back on the events of season 2 (necklace, portal, etc) and eventually see it as a kind of closure, even if she didn’t intentionally mean it to be at the time. They’ve got a lot to work out but these are 2 steps that are closer to an ending than a beginning, especially when you add everything else in.
Yep- I agree. She will come to see the difference in who she was & who she is.

They are, but she’s thinking real world- not FTL with 300yrs past & no ‘blood ties’ in the mix π

Exactly! Beside’s Ginny may have had zero idea of Hook’s & Neal’s actual back ground etc – she had no scenes with Neal at that stage, so may have had little idea over the exact details & besides it doesn’t matter what the other characters think/feel, it’s what Emma thinks/feel that means the difference between it happening or not- same as it was with Snowing π

So I guess what I’m saying is it surprised me that Ginny would immediately attack the idea of CS when everything we’ve actually seen sets that up beautifully. It is… & as I said above, she may not have been privy to the exact details of Emma/Baefire that JMO was, so her reaction was simply in accordance with the info she had from S1 & S2 Crocodile ep.

Yep, but the actors do have some say- Ginny told A&E she didn’t want Snow killing anyone in the S1 battles for her & Charming’s kingdom (it didn’t fit with what Snow would do in that situation)- so they said ok & only had her injure or knock out the soldiers etc- However, they don’t get a say in anyone else’s characters (I hope).

Neal & Hook both presented interesting options in Tallahassee (though it clearly started a split in the fandom pretty fast!) but then Hook was shown in a not-very-positive light all the time because he was a) barely there b) getting thrown on the ground and becoming a bit of a joke, and c) disappeared for awhile. So of course Neal has the better storyline at that point. I think the fact that he will be going back to his element (being on a ship, presumably being pretty much in charge regarding Neverland stuff etc.) maybe they will see him differently. I guess I can understand why people look at the moments we (mostly) got from Hook this season and ask why on earth we want him for Emma, but I have hopes that with more screentime, especially scenes that do NOT involve him ending up on the floor, we may be able to win some people over and at least be as torn as Emma is bound to be.
Yes, I agree. There are more people who I’ve I noticed, even on this forum alone, who are no longer 100% anti Hook. These last 2 eps have allowed for much of the backstory we may have gotten during the season to come to light & people are a little more receptive now than there were when he was 1st introduced. I hope that Hook will be as well loved as Rumple & Regina by S3’s end. I’ve only started to feel sorry for Regina this season myself (though I liked her in S1, I felt she was to twisted to be allowed anywhere near a kid- same with Rumple in many ways)

I agree again- Emma’s story needs to be an epic one like her parents, just a slightly different variation of it (ie. It’s pure ‘real world’ {honoring Emma’s real world up bringing & reality} merged with pure FTL {honoring where she comes from & the reality of who she truly is}), so it only makes sense her TL story would mirror her parents, as her story is much the same.
