I think my hair might turn bright red, curl and I’ll pick up a bow and shoot it in the general direction of whatever executive is in charge (though just a warning shot!) if they give her a prince too–especially if it is the arrogant McIntosh guy. It’d be kind of funny if its Dingwall though. I could totally see some exec at Disney giving her a classic sort of Prince, because they’ve done exactly that type of thing before.
My daughter loves those Princess Sing-Along videos where they do a Princess Tea. At the end of the video they have all the Disney Princesses dancing with their partners–but they included the character Melody, who is in a sequel as Ariel’s daughter. She is supposed to be only 12 (inexplicably dancing next to the 16 year old version of her mother….). Anyway, she has no real romance interest in the movie, but they have her dancing with the boy shown in her movie that she dances with at her birthday party–but he is supposed to be kind of a rude, stuck up kid (at least, you don’t get the feeling Melody or he would ever want to dance together again). But a Princess must have a prince and so there you go, they’re dancing! 😆 😆I agree! There is even a petition that can be signed telling the disney ptb, not to change her etc.

Hm but if you are the momma, does it then give you the excuse to say “I’m not cooking because I am obsessing over OUAT in general?” Cause that’s my general plan today.

Kat- you can either DL, DVD ripping software- usually free (if you don’t already have one) & rip the DVD’s straight to desktop (some of these files can be MASSIVE tho & WMM isn’t the fastest at importing, so it may pay to look for software that allows you to choose individual chapters to rip off of each disk), or DL each of the eps you need the clips from, then import them to WMM (Windows Movie Maker).
I always used to convert WMM vids into avi so it was playable anywhere.This time (because all this talk of fanvids had me hunt out my old SG1 fanvids & now it has my creative juices flowing- as well as a desperate need to re-watch SG1 ….again. Seems to be parallels between Vala/Daniel & CS as well 😀 ..ok back on point…) rather than ripping from Dvd/Bluray, I’m going to try with my already DL 720p copies.
Think I’ll start with a Vala/Daniel shipvid (since there is more to work with & I know them already so well), then work on a CS vid before a parallel vid (depending on how the finale goes). I’m thinking maybe an Imagine Dragons tune or even Of Men & Monsters…. hmmmm (better go finishing making my Mother her mothers day dinner, since it’s mothers day & all- it wouldn’t seem right to say ‘oops! take out cause I was online obsessing over CS rather than cooking you a special dinner’ 😉 😆 )Just heard that Merida from the movie Brave is officially being crowned a disney princess…wonder if we’ll see her in Once too 😉 😆

Just finished watching Tangled (so many CaptainSwan feelings!) and maybe after Doctor Who is over I’ll tackle the Princess Bride.
Over the summer sometime I’d like to figure out how to make fanvids and I’d love to use both of these movies for CS comparisons at some point. I absolutely LOVE the Tangled trailer voiceover with CaptainSwan clips.
No idea how to make anything of the sort though and all I can use right now would be Windows Movie Maker but I’m very tempted to try.
*Fingers crossed we get LOTS of good material to use in the finale to hold us over the summer with very obvious potential of gathering more in season 3!*

So do I, even showed it to my sister, who thought it was great too- she’s a fan, but a little less obsessed with the show than I am lol
Oh, it’s not hard at all to do (I made a couple of SG ones a number of yrs ago), it just VERY time consuming- esp using WMM- you have to add each ep, find, cut & paste each clip you want out of each individual ep into your actual fanvid, mute all sound (unless you want them talking with the Once score in the background) add your own music & arrange (not necessarily in that exact order, but that’s the over all process anyway). I may give it ago again now I have adobe software & see if it’s any easier to achieve- it is a lot of fun once you have all the eps loaded tho – I used to group mine in WMM, by charters, races, spaceships, worlds & action scenes etc for ease of use later, which speed things up…. Now you’ve got me keen to make some fanvids lol

And I thought it was a red leather coat Hook has on, but someone was right, it is only an under vest, probably not leather, but it is red. Well keep an eye out for wardrobe parallels–it was one of the clues on Smallville for Chlollie. It can be easily misread of course, but it is a technique they use on the show as Henry and Neal often have the same red/grey scarf type thing.

And that was me- I was mighty confused looking for the red coat, then realized it must be his lovely red waist coat 😆 (Got all excited thinking he’d had his 1st costume change since his intro 😆 ).Sadly had to edit my creative (aka sleep deprived) spelling- it’s 2am here…. We’re watching Tangled next – so maybe we’ll get an awesome CS teaser while I’m gone 😆 😉I have to rewatch the Princess Bride – I havent seen it for 20 odd yrs- my poor rusty brain has no clue who Westley / Dread Pirate Roberts is & since he is mentioned so often in relation to Hook I get confused 😕 😆
I hear you Kat- I’ve rewatched Hook’s ep’s at least twice now- 1 of my my fav eps is Tallahassee because of Emma’s & Hook’s interactions- they seem to promise some VERY interesting Emma growth & story lines, courtesy of Hook (the ep is so darn good for so many reasons!) It’s a shame we have still yet to get those.
I will have to re-watch & listen harder to whats said, good catch on the compliments front- I hadn’t noticed 🙂I especially loved the one where Hook tells her that what she wants is right in front of her and then proceeds to walk RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER

Well, Colin did say he had to quit his band in one of the recent interviews- so he must either have a HEAP of TV/Filming work coming up (none of which I can find- nothing in production or post production anyway), or he has to be at the very least been made a regular (I’m holding out for main tho 😆 😉 ). Why else would he give up being in the band 😉
