Speaking of the Sheriffs department : Killian is always working with Emma and Charming and seems to be of worth and not just tagging along as an observer. Maybe its time they hire him. They obviously need another person with all the magical nonsense that happens in that town. And then at least he makes some money instead of his criminal justice internship at the SBPD.
Oh, yes- good point! Deputy Jones has a nice ring to it dont you think? I’m totally into this idea now lol.
Now Rumples explanation about the thought of the hand being ‘tainted’ from his old life and how that gave Killian permission / an excuse to channel is inner Hook makes a little sense in theory. But not so immediate and with such force. Killian has worked so hard to be different and the things he does has been genuine. If those good deeds / actions are indeed genuine then his first impluse wouldnt be to unleash a left handed Hook in such a level of over reaction. It also doesnt make sense since the hand that was lopped off was that of a troubled greedy pirate but not the hate filled, revenge driven, at the bottom of his rum bottle totally cold hearted Captain Hook.

To support the actions we saw play out i think A&E should have confirmed the hand was magicked.
I quite like the fact that it’s ambiguous. It’s given us a nice little discussion point. I’m still plumping for the double bluff theory, pretty much for all the reasons you said.
The other reason I think the hand *was* cursed, is that when they were at the Apprentice’s house, Rumple ordered Hook to rough up the old man and Hook didn’t have any hesitation, he just went all ‘grr’ and did it. The old man hadn’t done anything to Hook, so if the hand *wasn’t* curse, why would Hook be so eager to hurt him? The other instances were Hook grabbing Will b/c he spilled the drink on Emma, punching Will b/c Will shoved Hook off him and stabbing Rumple for obvious reasons. All those other times he stopped himself from being all ‘grr’ and was scared by what his hand did but against the old man it was Rumple says jump and Hook jumped. I don’t think his actions were just b/c Hook wanted to fulfil the deal.

I’ve swapped to my phone and it looks like they are kind of working. The link just turned into another embedded video. It might be different browsers. I’m using Firefox on my computer and Dolphin on phone.
Ok, thats weird- I’m using chrome on my laptop & still cant see a thing…might try explorer & see if that works (although I hate using explorer lol)

’m afraid he is going to hold this close to the vest too… try and fix it himself… which will bite him in the a**. I really hope he goes to Charming at least and comes clean and they can try to work it out. Someone has suggested Killian go as a spy… i like that idea. As long as the Sheriffs department is on board.
Agreed with both points. I actually wouldnt mind if the Charming’s notice something is up & ask him about it- it could be a good way to show how he is an accepted & valued part of the family/community.
I also LOVED how it was Emma who closed the distance between them in the sheriffs office, by being the one to step into Killian’s personal space, that to me was probably the most understated show of character development I’ve seen for her yet. I mean, that was a huge step for Emma, to be the one instigating that closeness/lack of distance between them for a second time (1st being when she closed the distance between them outside Snowing’s ), but this time in public- in full view of Will, Elsa & Charming- That wall she built to keep people out, Killian is now totally inside it now
Yes… its so cute how she closes the space looking up at him sweetly… which come on who has used that word to describe Emma? lol. That’s why I think the pink girlie dress was perfect for this Emma. And while I cannot say one think bad on how Emma worked the Walsh proposal dress I think the CS 1st date was perfect for her first date with Killian
LOL, yeah- who’d have thought we’d be using adjectives like ‘sweet’ & ‘soft’ to describe Emma lol
As for the pink dress, I just saw Emma’s quote to Ashley used in a meta earlier this evening & I actually think it relates to her choice of dress as well

When fans have decided to define Emma as this guarded, walls up, kick ass savior & what she should be & should not be wearing, saying a feminine pink dress isnt Emma (defining her- as per Emma’s 1st sentence). She punches back & makes them see her differently by showing them (Emma saying ”No this is who I am” by making people see her differently/wearing the pink dress 😉 )

Meanwhile, in Storybrooke Emma’s powers are out of control and her fear of hurting loved ones pushes her away from everyone she cares about. In her confusion Emma turns to Gold for help getting her powers under control. Gold tells her about a way to get rid of her powers altogether and Hook tries to put a stop to it. Robin Hood recruits Will Scarlet to assist him on a mission and Mary Margaret and David search for Emma.” I’m even more excited to see how it all plays out now!!! 😀 😀 😀

Yes I’m having problems with posting being a bit hit or miss. And yes the video is just a big blank space. I felt the same as you both, that his reaction about the puddle & SQ felt OOC, but I feel that it was more due to his wanting Emma to just relax & enjoy herself, rather than worry & obsess over being a/the sheriff & the Savior as always 🙂

Agreed, it’s been what a few days, to a week timeline wise, since the whole Zelena, kissing curse stuff went down, it’d be a little repetitive to repeat that whole situation again (unless something comes up that all but ties his hands with telling Emma- I wouldnt put it past Rumple to straight up tell Killian that if he tells anyone, Emma is next in the hat) or maybe this time he confides in the Charmings about it. It doesnt really drive any character development forward for anyone, if Killian chooses not to tell- I get he wants to protect Emma & since Rumple has the hat & has already threatened Emma, Killian isnt going to be keen on Emma trying to go up against Rumple- esp as he knows she will probably want to, in order to help him which I guess as far as Killian is concerned- better him dead than Emma.
