No worries 🙂 Yeah I learnt to swim & stand on a boat before I could walk properly lol. Living on a boat or ship is a very different lifestyle to be sure- we used to go away over summer/ Christmas holidays (8weeks here) & would live on board sailing around NZ & Auzie…It was great & taught me how import a healthy ocean is to our own survival & just how common what we consider ‘human’ traits are in marine mammals- many an amazing experience there 😀 .
Sadly many are having to fight the current government’s plans to open up 1/3rd our oceans/coasts to oil rigging. This includes the range of the worlds rarest dolphin (The Maui, with only 55 left!), whom are only found in NZ waters.I LOVE Canada though- love the temperate forests, diverse costs, fantastic mountain ranges & bonus of White December’s (December is height of Summer here lol) 😉

Might be. Just to be the devil’s advocate here, he could have also pushed her because he knows she won’t allow anyone get killed at the hands of Rumple, being sheriff and for being Emma Swan. David and Emma were literally pulling him off Hook when they were at the accident scene.
Snow might be concerned for the same reason…but, since we’re speaking of Snow’s reaction…she was quite concerned and struck by how Hook was interacting with Emma when he and Cora locked them up in Rumple’s cell. She might be aware of an attraction, at least on Hook’s part since she’s seen his shameless flirting with her as well as the hurt he expressed when Emma “abandoned” him on the beanstalk.
Agree with both points of view.
In Tallahassee, while Hook is explaining about the beanstalk etc. There is a close up of Snow observing the conversation between Hook & Emma. It could be there as a nod towards ‘mother’s intuition’ or it could simply be her reaction to one of them needing to scale a beanstalk with Hook & a giant at the top lol. She does seem to be almost sussing out what she is seeing going on between Emma & Hook, with a very thoughtful expression on her face 😉@MysteryKat25 wrote:

(I’m very adament that Henry can have everybody in his life but there HAS to be some merging of the FTL + real world stuff, given that our characters, especially Emma, have had that as a major influence in their lives now and Henry needs to grow up and realize that they can all still love him and be civil with each other without absolutely having to have his parents back together. I’m with you 1000% I really hate people saying Henry’s HEA is SF- it’s not, having his mother be 100% ok with what Neil did to her is plain stupid IMO & seriously selfish of Henry. Emma maybe pure FTL by birth, but she was broken by a real world up bringing. She needs someone who hasn’t broken her trust & hurt her to her core as her endgame IMO. His HEA, is having his WHOLE family with him- that includes Regina, Emma, Neil, Snowing, Rumbelle & whomever, if anyone any of his parents end up with.
At the end of the day, Henry needs to learn that all his parents will always love him, but it is his parents who CHOOSE who is romantically best for themselves, because after he/ their children leave, that is the one person who will stay behind to love & support them 24/7.@MysteryKat25 wrote:

Obisgirl I absolutely love that pic! I feel so much better now. *Fingers crossed for something wonderful in the last couple of eps* (and by something wonderful, I mean Emma & Neal addressing the past and moving the heck on. Neal can be sweet and all but I don’t want him with Emma anytime soon and there isn’t a magic button to undo the past even if they both learn / understand what exactly happened to tear them apart.
BRING ON CAPTAIN SWAN! (And please, please show Hook in a more positive light so that others see what we saw in Tallahassee. I’m begging you!)

Yes & they said Emma would have “MANY” suitors this season & that she would be trying out some relationships etc to find out what suits her- 2 is not ‘many’ in my books & aside from a couple of Hook flirtations, we haven’t seen anything else :/
Yeah, I’ve been thinking for a while now, that his broken leg must have altered what was going to happen, poor guy couldn’t be expected to run around SB after Emma on one leg after all 😉 😆 I think he was meant to be in the last 9eps, but is now only in the last 3, I’m just hoping they don’t try to show him as he would be if we’d seen him slowly change & grow over the last 6eps tho… it’d be a little hard to swallow 😐
With Robin, Cinderella, Red, they all had a connection to something that was happening with the story of a lead character. Looking at how things stand right now overall on the show, and imagining what may be in store for the end of this season and for next season,
Yes I agree entirely & that is exactly my point- these characters are part of the story in their own right, they haven’t stolen other characters identities from our larger story, in order to be a part of it. ie- If we see Aladdin, Regina doesn’t automatically become Jasmine because Jasmine cant be added to the story without it becoming disjointed (I see that as exactly the same as making Hook/Killian, Prince Eric 😉
Yep, we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this one. Neither of us is gonna change the other’s mind. I’ve never crack shipped any couple before, but God help me, once I started thinking about the possibilites for Hookriel, it sucked me right in and I ended up reading fanfic. Once you reach that point, you’re sort of a lost cause.

Anybody else slightly bummed right now or is everybody still hopeful?
I feel like awhile back with PaleyFest etc we got so many hints that we were gonna be super happy and that CaptainSwan would get a lot of moments etc and then lately it seems like everything positive that comes out about a ship is SwanFire….I don’t get it!
Yes, I feel the same… at this stage it really bums me out & I’m still watching because A&E have kept promising some CS moments right up until 2 days ago, so I’m holding out hope 😉
I know we need SwanFire to talk about stuff and move past it in order for CaptainSwan to have any legit chance but I feel like the way the interviews etc have been going lately they’re really trying to tease that those two have deep feelings and will be together again soon (especially once Tamara is out of the picture / shown to be evil in front of NealFire) and I just feel so frustrated!
I know & while this may ruffle a few feathers- however its JUST MY OPINION, so please anyone reading this as a SF fan, please just accept it is MY OPINION/THOUGHTS ONLY! …. As things stand atm, SF going canon would turn me entirely off the show, as to me it’s such a highly juvenile concept (& that’s not because I’m a CS shipper, it’s because if they can do something so at odds with the core traits of a major character, which they’ve spent the whole time drumming into us- then I probably wont want to watch the show itself’s endgame anyway)… It’s like saying if my step father had apologized with excuses for the nasty things he had done to my mother- it’d be ok for them to be together..as long as they have feeling for each other- it’s all good. So I either hope they try & it falls apart with them being friends or A&E set Emma up to be so thoroughly self assured, that Emma fans can believe she’d be happy & 100% trusting of the man who abandoned her, sent her to prison for his own crimes & broke her heart etc.
I almost feel like BOTH ships are being teased mercilessly! WHY!?!?!
This is the one thing I hate them doing IF they don’t actually go there. ie IF Bae = Neal = Pan or Hook = Killian = another lead SB character; I’ll be really ticked off- not because the concept isnt cool in both cases, but because at paleyfest, A&E out right said none of the characters we’ve currently seen have a 3rd identity & we’d seen Hook/Killian & Bae/Neal more than once each at that stage.
People are already trying to ship Hook with people we haven’t seen already and I love Hook so IF they do it well I guess I can deal with him finding a different love but sooo not in EvilCaptain territory so for now I still need my CaptainSwan. I don’t want to have to deal with a backup ship unless it’s so awesome right out of the gate that it blows me away and nobody else that we’ve seen yet makes me want to ship them with Hook at all!
& this is exactly 1/2 the reason I ship CS so darn hard- the chemistry between Killian/Emma bounces out of the screen- it’s the reason I’ll be against any other Hook/Killian ships until I see him interact with said person. Emma is the only one who sparks with Hook- they are so vibrant & entertaining to watch, while Emma/Neil are very dull & flat by comparison- there is not person in my family or friends who ship SF now (I used to ship SF all S1 & at the start of S2, but Tallahassee had me shipping CS).
I read that interview with MRJ, and I have a different take on it.
I do not think that there’s any romantic feelings between Neal and Emma. That time is long past. What I do think will happen, is that they will have an honest talk about what happened and why, and it’ll be more of a breaking up scene then getting back together. It’s closure on the relationship basically..

What is a dinghy? Edumacate me, dear, for I grew up on the “waters” of suburbia in Chicago, and by waters, I mean concrete and asphalt 😆 So, the closest I’ve gotten to sailing is Lake Michigan by dipping my toes in there 😀

See for me, there has been a tonne of ‘mermaid’ movies/series, so ‘Ariel/ ‘The Little Mermaid’, would need to remain ‘truer’ to the story (like Cinder’s story), other wise it’s just some random mermaid, sadly called Ariel, who happens to have red hair 🙁 – I just think they have their work cut out for them there, because the ‘variations’ have been done to death in so many different ways already (like Cinderella)…. & Ariel is one of my Fav D/P, so I want her own story to be epic 😉@Phee wrote:

Yes, I realise that that particular publication isn’t Neverland canon and isn’t something they’d have the rights to borrow from for Once, but that idea, combined with Barrie himself saying that there was a scandalous secret to Hooks true identity, has had me wondering for a while if when we get the story of Killian’s youth, it may be revealed that he was actually born of a noble bloodline. Ships aside, just speaking as a straight up Hook fan, I think a backstory like that for him would be really interesting.

Yes, him having say a noble heritage would be interesting- but he doesn’t need to be Eric- who was already say 20 in disney’s TLMM anyway (not say 330)+ he was almost nabbed up by Ursula etc- we surely loose all that & any off shoots if it’s Hook (Killian isn’t that naive- he’s been around long enough to at least know Ursula & her ways if he knows Regina)- I want THEIR (Ariel & Eric’s) story mixed into NL or FTL, not a touch of it, twisted so it can be mash up with NL.@Phee wrote:

See I totally disagree- Has Robin Hood, Cinders, Red etc made the show disjointed? They all have stories in their own right, but they are connected to our mains story- they don’t have to take over characters out of each others stories to keep it all smooth- very few aside from Rumple have ‘taken’ over other FTL characters outside of their own ‘stories’.

I can see it’s something we wont agree on, as we have 2 very different perspectives on the subject 😉 & part of why I didn’t search out a thread (if there is one) or start a new one as I didn’t want to have to defend my view to full on Ariel/Hook shippers 😉

I don’t know how I forgot about that! Agreed!!!! I very much want to see this- he punched Whale for sleeping with Snow while under the curse- why we havent seen him pull Neil up on his treatment of Emma, I don’t know. But I’d hate for them to have him let things stand as they are, esp when he finds out Emma was only in prison because Neil put her there!
