Lol- I just was looking at this pic http://pmctvline2.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/ouat_lacey_surpised.jpg & had this mental image of Rumple waving his wand over Henry’s head & turning him into a disney type mouse- cue shocked faces 😆 😆 😆

I’m voting for a variety of couples – my main ship is Rumbelle but I’m also voting for CaptainSwan because I think they belong in the final voting, at least past the first round. 1) I think that statement was made in reference to the fact Hook/Milah are so high against Emma/Hook- which is weird as we only saw them in the one episode.
2) She didn’t say she knew (nor did I), she said she ‘thinks’, but I took it to mean she ‘feels like’, I could be wrong, but that’s my interpretation anyway- some of the other shipping fans have been OTT in their response to CaptainSwan, like I said, I don’t get why, we all have our fav couples, but there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed (& I’m not saying all Captain Swan fans are innocent there either, it just ‘seems’ to be a lot of different ships in general have been singling out the one).
3) The way I see it as working is as you say (I just really don’t like the fact you can vote repeatedly by refreshing- even daily or every 12hrs voting would be much better & keep things more ‘real’).
Personally, like you, I’ve voted for those couples I want to see get through- Snowing etc, but some of the high choices are simply weird/ out there.

Yeah, seems like it, doesn’t it 😉 – I still cant figure out why SwanFire etc fans hate CaptainSwan so much- I mean I’d really dislike SwanFire to happen (for many reasons) as things stand, but I wont hate on Neal/Bae or SwanFire because of that 😐
Maybe Hook/ CaptainSwan pulls in a more mature or forgiving fan base lol 😉 😆Edited to add- CaptainSwan is ‘just’ leading Hook & Milah now.
I don’t think it’s Snow’s hand either, but I did see a screenshot of Emma’s arm’s which do have freckles/sun spots on them (her hand was too blurred to see any details in pretty much that entire episode though).
Maybe it is Owen (not impossible for a guy to have feminine hands)- has anyone found a screenshot of his right hand yet?

I agree with you on Regina (I think she likes to look impressive 😉 ), but by more introverted, I meant it by its definition- not as energized by crowds of people- nothing more.

Add Regina being possessive, she holds tight to her loved ones, so someone who is gregarious is not going to suite her at all- it’d drive her nuts & cause friction.
Neal has also shown a remarkable capacity to let go of the past (he’d moved on enough from Emma to be engaged to Tamara- he was making a nice life for himself outside of Rumple/ magic, he’d also expect things of Regina which will help keep her challenged & wanting to be good), both have major evil parental issues, so they can relate there too, I see them as having similar circumstance, but like Emma & Hook, dealing with them at the opposite ends of the scale 😉
Hook doesn’t let go easily, Regina never lets anything go, both are forgiveness challenged- what happens at their 1st fight…neither would get past the other doing whatever & wouldn’t be able to forgive the other for it.
Neal’s more chilled personality is a nice counter balance to Regina’s hot one, Hook’s is too similar in the wrong ways to have it work out well IMO.I see Hook & Emma being very similar, but coping by running to the opposite ends of field- Emma closes down & backs away, Hook slaps on guyliner, goes out & flirts with every female in 3 worlds 😉
They tend to balance each other out from what we’ve seen so far.
If not romantically involved, I could see those 2 at least being best friends- they understand & ‘get’ each other, people like that in your life don’t happen very often & tend to be the special 1’s you hold on too.But we digress from the thread topic, so shall we agree to disagree with these 4 & simply agree Hook is awesome & that we cant wait for more of his back story (I especially want a how Killian became a pirate- that’s my #1 backstory hope of next season) & how he & Neal know each other together.

It’s not a male hand, that’s for sure. We can rule out men because that is definitely a female hand. What could be Hook’s hand though is the one on the dial getting ready to torture Regina.
I agree with CrownedwithLaurels. I still think it’s Tamara’s hand it makes more sense from a storytelling standpoint in my opinion, but I’m open to the possibility of Emma’s hand.
Yeah- that’s for the ‘it’s Hook’s hand’ camp- I’m open to it being Tamara’s hand too- I cant say for sure it is/isnt.
I also have agreed it could be Hook’s hand on the dial, or Charming’s, or Owens (all we see are fair skinned fingers on a dial)- we don’t even know for sure if said hand was turning the dial on or off, up or down from that promo as I’ve already said, so context is a little harder there- is that from the start of her shock therapy or someone rescuing her at the end- either way Hook or Owen is my main picks for that hand (I’m inclined to think Hook, given we see so little of the hand in question, but then that’s what they could want us to think & it’s actually Owen for instance).

I know you’re all aware of wetpaint’s ‘vote for your favourite couple’ poll, just a reminder for everyone to vote for captain swan, I’ve just been there and they’re up against milah/hook who for some strange reason have a sizeable percentage of the vote. I refuse to believe there really can be that many milah/hook shippers since they had like two scenes together and were only used as a plot device for rumple and hook, so I think its just spite from other shippers. Apparently you can vote as many times as you like!

Will pop over there & vote- I don’t keep in touch with those things tbh, as many teens & young adults tend to sit there voting over & over to see their couple win- I prefer real poll’s where one vote is all you get.

I was so excited when I found out Hook is returning to the show at the end of the season, but hope he won’t only be featured in flashbacks. Given conversations at Paleyfest, I don’t think that’ll be what they do.
I hope Adam and Eddy will keep Captain Hook around for a long time. I’ll be very happy if he’s kept throughout season 3, and hopefully, for even longer, and I hope “Hook” will be featured in other present-day adventures outside of the current plot focused on revenge. Eventually, if even slowly or only partly, I’d like to see Hook be redeemed. I don’t want to loose one of my favorite characters on this show because if that happens, I’ll loose my favorite show too. I like Neal, but Hook’s not there. I liked Miller’s Daughter, but Hook’s absence has left an irreparable hole in the fabric of everything. Captain Hook redefined Once Upon A Time for me. That show will never be the same again.

Neal has grown on me a little bit (I seriously disliked him in Tallahassee) but by ep 18, he’d grown on me a little- I like him a smidgen now (I think that’s because he’s starting to have Bae-ness come through, rather than just Neal) 😉
I find Hook’s story so much richer than Bae’s as well- Bae is mostly about forgiveness & courage- Hook is about that fine line between vengeance & justice, loyalty & obsession, forgiveness & letting go of lost love… very juicy stuff 🙂
