I don’t think we should all count Regina out of the equation either- She wants Henry back, esp since she now knows he filled the hole left by Daniel.
I wouldn’t put it past Regina to be the one who actually manages to track down Henry’s father just to drive a wedge between Emma & Henry- at least that way he’s being used by Regina against Emma- there will be the whole ‘why didnt you tell me I had a son?!’ issue, along side Regina stirring to get Henry resenting Emma for telling him lies-esp that he was dead & in essence keeping him from knowing his father! + You’ll have the issue with what happened between Emma & the guy, with Snow & Charming- wanting to stick up for Emma, but sticking up for Henry at the same time …….Enough angst there to last anyone a full season lol :p
That way rather than it just being Emma not wanting Henry to be involved with his dad, it’ll be her trying to work out & juggle what to do to keep her family together (on all 4 sides) after she’s just got it- how she has to deal with Henry’s father in-order to get past Regina’s plan’s, yet still be weary of him because of past events & protective of Henry + Charming & Snow handling & reactions to the whole new person with a very questionable past (Emma already told Snow he was bad news after all!) in their lives, one whom they have to share their newly found family with while fighting the urge to kick him to the curb & walking into Regina’s trap of them all pushing Henry away.

I also love that “grandpa” line; that Henry is such a little Charmer-in-the-making. Also, perhaps the main character to ask about Dr. Whale will be Emma, since she’s not familiar at all with these fairy-tale counterparts.
Am I the only one who doesn’t understand the reference to Lou Reed’s Charley’s Girl – like at all?

Emma and Jefferson do have a lot of chemistry, but if they were to happen, it would be too much like Rumbelle and Gosh, imo. Plus, I think they’ll bring his wife back at some point, so I’d rather wait for that to happen then for Jefferson to openly pursue Emma after all that’s happened.
Before Eion Bailey got dropped from regular status, I did think that they were going to do a Bae/Emma/August triangle, which I didn’t like, but it seems unlikely to happen right now since it seems like the show has largely written Pinocchio out. When August’s comes back, I think he might have more to deal with than trying to woo Emma, and I also think when he comes back that he’ll mostly be in Bae’s orbit since I still believe that they knew each other outside of Storybrooke.
Before the spoilers about Snow and Lancelot, I wouldn’t minded a flirtation between him and Emma, but if there was ever anything of a romantic nature between Snow and Lancelot, I would feel weird about Lancelot/Emma. Although again if it’s just a flirtation nothing serious, I guess that wouldn’t be too bad. If he really tries to woo her though after perhaps her mom broke his heart, then I’m not fond of that idea at all.
There’s Quinn, but I know less about him then I do Lancelot right now. He could help her with her magical abilities, so I could see them bonding over that. Unfortunately, I could definitely see a triangle situation already between Bae, Emma, and Quinn since Bae would probably be against magic and Quinn would be for magic. At least from his description though, Quinn might turn out to have a very dark side, so I guess that would leave the writers an easy way out to get to Bae/Emma happening.
Of course, there’s Hook, who I’m sure will try to woo Emma also. I could see her being charmed, at least at first, but I don’t see it going anywhere.
Finally, there’s MR-J’s mysterious man character who I believe to be Bae/Henry’s dad. I didn’t really see his character as the active pursuer type at least not this season because I thought it would be too early for that since I figured that he and Emma would have a lot to resolve first, but then again with the spoilers about “Jack” having a lot of swagger, I guess it could happen. I do want to see her properly wooed especially since I think he has a lot to make up for, but it all seems too soon right now. I guess we’ll see.
ETA: I just had a thought. Do you think Jennifer Morrison said that the quote about men as some kind of message to the rabid SwanQueen shippers like either “cool it with thinking it’s going to be canon” or “I didn’t say any of those men would be successful, wink, wink”? Oh god, I can’t believe I even thought of it in that context. 😕
I agree with you on the above (guy wise).
SwanQueen – For the reasons you stated it’d never happen- so I REALLY hope they dont go there!!!!!

Funnily enough I found it looking into Morgan aka Lady of the Lake & had the exact same OMG! moment when I read the “3 son’s become Wales 1st doctors” lolI still like Puss in Boots tho- just cause it fits in nicely with him doing the bidding of a Millers child & Regina (&/or Cora) being such a child/person, who then married royalty- just like it says in the story + the tie in with sleeping beauty there as well 🙂
I’m just about to re-watch all the Dr Whale scenes to see if I can pick anything up that I may have missed.
OK- so thats even better news! We now have (most likely) Milha & Anita confirmed.

I’m with Phee on Alice- it’s pretty much how I feel about her & Jefferson….Unless they’ve tweaked the story somehow 😉
Looking forward to how they tell Alice’s & Tink’s stories & where they go with them 🙂
Would be nice to know, but not sure if we’ll find out about Grace’s Mother this season- there is already so much going down!
