Once Upon a Fan UK is reporting a new casting, but no word on which role the actress will play:

Is Rachel Shelley Heading To Once Upon A Time?
Twitter is currently abuzz with speculation that Rachel Shelley, star of the L Word and regular columnist for Diva magazine, is heading to Storybrooke!

The intense speculation stems from an extract from her column in the September 27th issue of Diva. In her column, Rachel Shelley reveals why she missed the Starfury convention in Canada.

β€œMy disappointment at missing the convention was muted somewhat because that same weekend I set sail on an immaculate tall ship through aquamarine waters in fairytale land, working on ABC’s hit TV series Once Upon A Time.”

No official word yet on who her character could be! What do you think Oncers? Is Rachel heading to Storybrooke and who will she play?

I’ll guess that Rachel Shelley (age 43) could play Anita, since we haven’t heard any other recent casting for the role for 2×7:

One role is Anita, 45-50, a sexy sorceress who has lived apart from her family due to their fear of her magic. She is extremely protective of others such as herself.

Well she certainly fit’s the profile of Anita, which means the role of Quinn should have been filled already- or did I miss that? πŸ˜•

All I can say is I cant wait to find out who he is! πŸ˜€
I’m sure there will be little tells – like with August (with the scarf for instance), that will point to who he is in particular since they’ve known from day 1 who he is.

He seemed fixated on Ruby- so maybe it has something to do with her being Red or a wolf? I just cant think of who he could be in the story is all …..maybe he meets her after she & Snow left the village?

I’ve started my re-watch, so will be keeping my eyes peeled & ears open this time πŸ˜‰

PS. I love how in that shot, Charming runs over to protect Emma and Henry.

So did I! It was so Charming lol πŸ™‚

Thats kinda what I was thinking hjbau- Emma turned the magic aimed at her & Henry harmless.

That is just filming style tho.
What we are getting at (at least what I’m getting at anyway) is they didnt introduced mythical creatures- say dragons or unicorns for instance, into Lost did they. Why? Because it didn’t fit the genre of that particular show- I know I watched Lost πŸ˜‰

That is the point- it’s a fantasy not Sci-Fi show they are making now.

At the end of the day anyone can over analyze a show & ‘find’ clues hidden there πŸ˜‰ – Yes K&H have given us nods & easter eggs, but they don’t impact the over all structure of the show.

The clues/hints are not really any different than any other serial TV show, that is made with an overall direction in mind- you dont need those clues to watch the show, they are just there so nothing that comes along is totally out of the blue & since Dr Whale has done nothing major that we’ve seen when presented with a patient, I just don’t see how if they intended us to ‘buy’ into Dr Frankie from the very beginning, they’d have left out not 1, not 2 but 3 opportunities to at least have him ‘DO’ something, or even to suggest he is either a genius being held back or has immense skill as a doc/surgeon.

I do know what you mean about K&H- they are very good at weaving their personal interests into a story line πŸ™‚

So that’s my 2 cents worth & it’s not like we have to agree on this πŸ˜‰
I think this will be one of those ‘sit back & hope you enjoy the ride’ kinda things & until then we just have to respect others opinions & agree to disagree on some things … esp when we are all borderline fanatical Oncers πŸ˜† πŸ˜‰

Well they also said Once wasn’t going to be like Lost at all. It isn’t the same OTT mind bender as Lost was made to be.
They said they’d have nod’s to lost in Once because they knew their roots – not because they are trying to make a fantasy version of it.

I personally dont connect Lost in any great way to Once, so I guess that gives me an outside perspective πŸ™‚

Rumps & Beast also come from Fantasy not different genres so merging them isn’t a big deal, same with Red riding hood- they just tweaked the story & again made 2 characters one.

They didn’t add an entirely different character from an entirely different genera into the middle of an established bunch of fantasy characters.

Nods are one thing, big or major roles are another.

Ok, from what I can find out, when you turn 18 in juvy, you can actually finish out your sentence there if it’s to end with-in 6mths.
So it is possible that since Emma was being told she couldnt keep her kid, that she wouldnt make a good mother & giving him up would be best for him etc, that she did in deed give birth to him in that last 6mth period or she could have been arrested (while pregnant) at age 17 & given birth 3-8wks before her 18th birthday (as Gypsy said).
I know she told Henry that they took him off her, however she would have had to sign paper work or something saying she was handing him over before she had him & if she changed her mind after he arrived, it was just to bad- I read that usually the child is put into the system if the family or a temporary home/foster carer isn’t or hasn’t been arranged by the time the child arrives.

Just throwing it out there πŸ™‚

Im going for Puss in Boots – Just because it’s out there & it kinda fits –

“Puss in Boots”, is a French literary fairy tale about a cat who uses trickery and deceit to gain power, wealth, and the hand of a princess in marriage for his penniless and low-born master- Whom is the Millers youngest child!

He appears in the third act pas de caractΓ¨re of Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Sleeping Beauty.

& Whale is a term used for a gambler who has the capacity to win and lose large bets or takes great risks.

    Or just as random –
    Cetus
large fish, whale, or sea monster πŸ˜‰

My other way out there thought is he could be Rhiwallon –

In the 12th century a young man fell in love with a woman who emerged from the magic lake – Llyn y Fan Fach, in the hills above the village of Myddfai. He was allowed to marry her providing he was faithful, didn’t give her three needless blows, nor touch her with iron. She came with a dowry of goats, cattle, sheep and horses. They were very happy and she bore him three sons.

Unfortunately he struck his wife once when she laughed during a funeral, once when she cried at a wedding, and then (to cap it all) he accidently touched her with the metal bit of a bridle as she helped him to harness a horse.

She cried,β€œYou have struck me the last blow. Farewell!” Turning her back on him, she called to the animals to follow her, and disappeared into the lake. The distraught husband drowned in the deep waters of the lake in his frantic search for her.

The lady’s three sons often went to the lake, and one day she re-emerged and told Rhiwallon, the eldest, that he must become a man of medicine and be “a benefactor to mankind by giving relief from pain and misery through healing all manner of diseases”.

I just hope they keep the love triangles to a minimum 😐 MM/ David/ Kathryn was enough πŸ™„ lol

I think love & true love are different things personally- kind of like how some people are together until death do them part (they never fall out of love or grow apart), while others are divorced in 1,5,10,15,20yrs later as they simply fall out of love &/or grow apart.

LOL- could you imagine the Classic Fairy tales we all know & love ending with ‘ & they all lived happily ever after for 18yrs, then the kids left home & Prince Charming & Snow White realised they didnt have anything in common any more, their passion was gone; so got a divorce, split the castle & kingdom between them- Prince Charming went a questing, Snow White went bush whacking- the kids split their time between them both & they all ‘sort of’ got on ever after’ πŸ˜†
