……….YAY!!!!!!!! 😀
[adrotate group="5"]surayyaParticipantHmmmm, I’m going to have to re-watch that ep!
Maybe she stayed there for 2yrs after she got out of jail- she’d have been on probation or something when she 1st got out, wouldn’t have she?
I thought you got a person who helps you get a job & helps you fit back into society etc when you come out of jail????Maybe that’s when she also was able to afford her bug & became a bailbonds person (I assume you’d have a test or something to pass in order to be one ❓ ❓ ❓ ).
The Charming family dynamics & Emma’s past are 2 things I’m most interested in seeing this 1st 1/2 of the coming season- so I’m stoked! 😀

Werewolves are not fairy tale characters and they’ve incorporated them into the series. So why would Dr. Frankenstein be such a stretch? Frankenstein is part of Marvel Comics and Disney owns Marvel. They said we could possibly see Marvel characters showing up. It’s story book characters and not just fairy tale characters. Dr. Whale has a history with EQ. I’m sure EQ would love to have her father Henry & Daniel back.
Werewolves are still considered & defined as mythical creatures though, where as Dr Frankenstein is a science fiction character – I hope knowing that doesnt make me to much of a geek lol! :geek:
My take on it is this- Fairy tales (aka Fantasy) & Myths can be & usually are very similar ie.
Fairy tales are story about magical & imaginary beings & lands.Myths are A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the world view of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society.
On the other hand Science fiction is very, very different- it’s a genre of fiction dealing with imaginary but more or less plausible (or at least non-supernatural) content such as future settings, futuristic science & technology, space travel, parallel universes, aliens & paranormal abilities. These stories involve partially true, partially fictitious laws or theories of science. It should not be completely unbelievable, because it then ventures into the genre fantasy.
So that’s why I personally haven’t jumped on the Dr Frankie band wagon – I’m still living in hope they stay clear of the science fiction stuff. They’ve done an AWESOME! job of weaving a world & characters we all love & can relate to based on magic & myth (fantasy) – adding an entirely different genre into the mix- esp one that cant have magic init by definition, I think would be a very big risk to take (esp given they’ve only just scratched the surface of all the fairy tale & mythical characters available to use) & could kill the show dead 😐
I know they do nods to Lost & they did a nod to Nurse Ratched- but those are small or minor things- not major/serious game players in the story.
At least that’s my thoughts on the subject lol 🙂

Take a look at this new promo and tell me if around 1:19 you see Charming coming into Regina’s house with his sword and she is holding what looks like Cora’s “book” from the promo pic they released.http://www.ksitetv.com/once-upon-a-time … awns/16358
I cant see it here in little old New Zealand 🙁

There are two main issues with Cora being Bae’s mom and him being twins with Regina. Firstly, Rumpelstiltskin is centuries old (as confirmed by Jane Espenson, the writer of episode 1×12). That means Rumpel lost Baelfire centuries before Regina enacted Dark Curse. Regina isn’t more than about 32 when we see her in FTL. On the FTL timeline, it just doesn’t pan out. Secondly, Rumpel was not yet cursed as the Dark One when Baelfire was born and was just a regular man. In the tale of Rumpel and the miller’s daughter, Rumpel was already cursed as the Dark One when he asked for Cora’s first-born as part of a deal for turning straw into gold.
………Good Points 😳 Thats what happens when your imagination runs off without allowing your logic to tag along for the ride I suppose 😆
surayyaParticipantI to Loved the awkward Charming clip – Cant wait for more!
I think regarding their names, it’ll be a bit of both FTL & SB until they managed to merge their old/FTL selves, with their SB selves. I mean they do have 28years of calling each other by different names & it makes sense- at least to begin with anyway- that they call most people /everyone by their SB names. After all many of them probably only know each other from being in SB since the curse was meant to take away everyone’s happy ever afters.
surayyaParticipantGood point – maybe we’ll find out if we have a Tinker Bell episode 😉
surayyaParticipantOh Cool – Emma’s bug is indeed HERBIE!!!!! Awesome! 😎
Now this has me thinking that maybe all things & people magical/ not of ‘this’ reality/world, kind of find their way together- A bit like magnets I suppose- they are the only ones carrying an other worldliness with-in themselves in our non-magical world, so they are drawn to each other ❓
Just a thought, but it could explain how Bae could have hooked up with Emma in our world (out of all people!), to have Henry. He was married with a troubled past etc but that connection was still there with Emma, it ends messy with him disappearing & Emma having Henry in jail & so on ‘n’ so forth.
surayyaParticipantI noticed that Dr. Whale’s shirt is buttoned incorrectly. Does anyone else think he might have hooked up with Red and before their “date” was over she turned back into the wolf? Maybe the green screen tape is because she injured his arm?
I don’t know if anyone else has already mentioned this. I am new here and I haven’t read all the threads yet.
Ohhhhhh, I like your thinking! That’d be awesome!
