Lol Phee, it is hard case how we can all read totally different meanings in to exactly the same images 😉

So she said, yes, but does that necessarily make it the truth? I mean, technically, even if pregnant Snow had gone in that wardrobe, it would have been protecting TWO, her and the unborn Emma.
So why couldn’t they have sent Pinocchio through first, so he was waiting there to collect Emma when she came through next? If Pinocchio WAS sent, by the Blue Fairy, as a protector for Emma, it’d make sense to keep that secret. If the evil folks know there are two people attempting escape, they’ll go after both of them. If Pinocchio went through first without anyone knowing, so no one could try to stop him, then even if for some reason Emma didn’t make it, they still had Pinocchio in the new world, so it’s still a win.
And even if it WAS true that the tree could only protect one, I can still see Blue Fairy finding another way to send Pinocchio through in secret, for the reasons stated above.
IMO Yes they do have to stick to the rules they’ve taken the time to state clearly, repeatedly & have set up for the show, otherwise there’s simply no point what so ever to the curse or even the show ie. The blue fairy has been shown as an uber ‘good guy’ helping the FTL folk in one way or another, yet she suddenly becomes a ‘bad guy’ & lies about something so important (saving everyone) to everyone who trusts her?
Aside from not adding up (she is after all, shown as the head nun in SB) that is a poor reason to have another go through imo 😉
If they have managed to protect another from the curse then it had better be more creative than a super good guy turning into a lier for their own agenda, yet maintaining a super good guy SB persona :/
Also why on earth send a child through the wardrobe to watch over Emma, its not like a kid can keep a baby safe & protect it. Wouldnt you send a teenager or young adult through for that job, so they could then teach, train or help her.
Its also hardly a big deal sending the savior through if others can go as well (if they start breaking fundamental rules like that which set the situation up in SB, then I’ll be another who wont bother the with the show anymore as every other rule they’ve set up, like the curse itself, will become moot if rules we’ve been told (repeatedly – remember snow & charming kept reminding us before & after the birth ‘only one can go through’), is really just lies & people can leave SB, people do show up in SB, nothing bad actually happens when they leave, its all just coincidence & so on).Im not going to go into the whole ‘is a baby considered a being in of itself while still inside its mother’ debate (thats a massive kettle of worms & not really for this forum), but Im going to say that I think the writers/producers of the show went with, that until the baby was born it was part of its mother & so not an independent, single, entity/being (ie it couldnt survive outside of its mother)- I just assumed everyone had thought that as its the only logical answer to sending an unborn child through 😉 lol.
Personally for August, I actually liked the PP theory (bt since thats been shot down, I dont really have a preferance for August being someone As long as its plausible & makes sense! lol)
The only situation I have seen that could indeed support the Pinocchio (or indeed anyone else from FTL using the wardrobe) theory (I admit I think this version is VERY cleaver & I would probably except it entirely if not for the 2 instead of 1 going through thing) is : Re the Blue Fairy speech – she said PROTECT, she didn’t say CARRY? Maybe the tree could carry more than one across but only protect one person from the curse and what if Pinocchio screwed that up, so Emma didn’t get protected from the curse but Pinocchio did, and that was why Emma had such bad luck in her life and was in a constant rut.
IMO all the usage of the wardrobe in how another got to reality feels like trying to squeeze a square peg through a round hole & is just trying to make August fit into pinocchino lol, but like I say thats just my opinion.
I did think the Bae/tree/puppet/ blue fairy theory was interesting & had merit tho 😉

Having “conclusive” evidence that a heart belongs to a particular body makes it a little unnecessary to have the body.
See what I got from that was Dr Whale (who we know is firmly under Regin’s thumb) just doctored the DNA as he seems to be in charge of the hospital/ health care system in SB…. I’ll post my theory on Dr Whale under the theory thread 😉
surayyaParticipantOk for me the big neon flashing light bulb that went off with August the ‘writer’ having shinsplints was, that he’s sharply increased the amount or length of exercise that he’s used to rapidly. Why would he do that? He’s meant to be a writer not a fitness junky, so what the oats is he doing all of a sudden now he’s in SB that he’d have developed shinsplints was my question.
Personally I dont think much of the evidence logically leads to Pinocchio – Why…
The Blue fairy was very specific on this part & I will quote direct from her here “The enchantment is indeed powerful, but all power has its limits & this tree can protect only one”. For me that sums it up it can protect only one being, Not two from the curse.
Also the newspaper said 7yr old “local” boy finds ….. Not 7yr old orphan finds (for those that say Pincchino went through the same wardrobe as Emma).
IMO the whole reason pincchino was Able to become a real boy at all, was the fact he was made of enchanted wood (-if he even was made of enchanted wood- he could simply be made of wood & the BF waved her wand twice n poof real boy) & so once he becomes a real boy the enchantment ends, just as it did for the tree/wardrobe- it’s powerful enchantment worked once & then was used up, otherwise Pinocchio could go backwards & forwards from wood to real whenever.
Also August says “I dont lie” or words to that effect repeatedly to Emma- well he does so lie, he lied to Ruby in the diner when he said he was in Nepal & that the temples were over run with Lemurs- Lemurs live only on Madagascar Island, they are found nowhere else on earth (naturally). He also said he had his/’my’ bike- so man oh man, he must Love that bike because most people would just hire transport to use when overseas rather than taking their own with them- it’s not like he can ride from Nepal to Maine after all.
I think I read (or saw) an interview, where one of the EP said “listen closely to August in the diner when he talks about Lemurs, then you'll see how trust worthy he is” – My 1st thought was we know he made a bald-face-lied, Lemurs arent in Nepal, so he cant be as trustworthy as he obviously Wants Emma to believe he is.
& last but not least lol, Doesnt the kid who plays pinocchio have very bright chestnut or Red hair? Bit of a stretch to go from ginna to dk brown dont you think.
Someone put up Bae & Pinocchio photos with August’s & he looks Nothing like Pinocchio at all, if anything it gives credence to the August is Bae camp – as the resemblance is rather solid (& Im not a big August is Bae camper either lol) 😉surayyaParticipantLol sjm it is a bit long isnt it 😉
Yeah I started reading & though oh boy 7pgs already lolOk I call Rumps has set the whole curse situation up to get himself out of his curse (to fulfill the deal he made with Bae).
Gold was keeping an eye on Emma as she grew up & that is why he got Henry (it wasnt just chance)
Gold slipped Henry’s book to MM knowing she’d pass it on to Henry & get the ball rolling.
Just remembered the S1 bit so I hope the Rumps slips EQ true love doesnt happen lol
surayyaParticipantHmmm I sort of figured SB & FTL are one in the same, it was just transferred to its non magical counterpart or here by EQ’s curse hence SW glass coffin being under the mines & the huntsmen/sheriff forest scenes with the wolf – same place different reality.
I do think it would be awesome if FTL elements stared reappearing in SB though, that would work nicely with the whole no one comes to SB & no one leaves part of the curse & also with Emma chipping away at it. Then they’d just slowly transfer back to FTL with all who are meant to be there & none who arent.
The only big problem I have with All of FTL folk staying in reality is then what does that mean for FT’s in general – is there no more? nothing happens? people/children loose hope/magic because that land & it people no longer exist? Do the sb/FT folks bring magic to reality? do sb/FT folks lose their magic? are they still the same (SB) versions of their FTL selves if they stay in reality or are they their FTL selves or a mix of the 2? do they forget their FTL lives if the curse breaks & they stay in reality but are free to live out their HEA endings…the list goes on & I think in them staying in reality it could go very pear shaped re story lines (although I do think rumplegoldfan thats would be an interesting development if they did stay, I really want the FTL folk to go back home to FTL as its their home/world & where they belong to me 🙂 )surayyaParticipantGold wants out of his rumps curse, He makes a deal with his son to do what ever it takes to return to the father Bae once had, deal leads to making/obtaining the curse, but in using it he wouldnt return to Bae’s loving father, so he has to find another desperate soul to use it for him (enter EQ/Regina with her blinding hatred of SW) & so free him with him without incurring the consequences of using said curse to break his own curse.
He comes up with a ‘fail safe’ to break the effects of the curse (enter Emma, likely again so another incurs the fall out of curse braking), so he can then be reunited with Bae afterwards as his old self.
In order to pull off the above, he wanted/needed Emma’s name as if one fairy tale person was outside the curse then he & not Regina could have some control/power over them.
In order to do that he needed to know what was going on in storybrooke during the curse & so made the deal with the EQ when she arrived knowing he could then manulipulate things to get what he wants, as he wants them.
This explains how Gold knew when Emma had given up her baby & managed to get him into storybrooke as well- Im not sure as yet wheather or not Regina actually knew who Henry was when Gold ‘procured’ him.
Im thinking Gold gave Mary Margret the book, knowing she’d (or planting the idea of her) giving it to Henry to cheer him up- I mean how else would MM have gotten the book in the 1st place & who has all the fairytail relics in his store 😉Rumps has the magic/potion of true love- have regina take it (or slip it to her) & evil queen is no more & everyone can live happily ever after again lol 😉
I have others but will add those when I can be bothered writing them down lol 😉
surayyaParticipantI got bored one wet afternoon & done a name meaning search on each of the main charaters ( (at the time we were up to like ep 5 or 6)- Here’s what I got for Mary Margret:
Mary = bitter or sea of bitterness. Margret = pearl, probably ultimately a borrowing from Sanskrit. Saint Margaret, the patron of expectant mothers, was martyred at Antioch in the 4th century. Later legends told of her escape from a dragon. Blanchard = White, also derived from a Germanic personal name composed of the elements “blanc”, shining, white, beautiful, plus the second element “-hard” brave, hardy, strong. Hence the name may have been given to a person with the above characteristics.
Ill start a thread with all the other name meanings I got as will – some are Very clever 🙂
surayyaParticipantWell along with the whole there’s no Lemurs in Nepal, it’s not like he can just ride his bike from Nepal to Maine either – he clearly said he had his bike with him. He must REALLY be sentimental about the bike not to just hire one if he was telling the truth & they got Lemurs & monkeys confused – which well possible, I doubt (they could have put it in there to say nope, not Pinocchio, or to show he is actually lying & or hiding something, despite what hes said to Emma). .
surayyaParticipantI with most others on the fact Rumple wanted the “curse to end all curses” to happen for the largest part in order to end his own curse, as currently his only way out is to be killed & pass the curse to another (Ill be clear here- I dont think he’d care about passing it on, its the killed bit he dont like 😉 ).
Also because of the whole, he who holds the dagger, controls the cursed one, he pretty much will be living in constant danger of someone getting their hands on that dagger & therefore his free will – thats gotta get old after a while – unlimited power but at anytime able to be totally controlled by any random who holds the dagger.
I have a feeling Rumple & Regina go a ways back, as they seem to be on a pretty equal footing in fairy tale land & well theres no love lost, they do seem to have (an all be it begrudging) respect for each other. I think Rumps knows the one person who would track him down After his curse is broken & make his life hell is the evil queen- she never seems to just let people move on once she’s crossed their path or it could just be he saw in her the desperate soul he needed, who was driven enough to use the curse & ultimately pay the price.
My take on Rumple & the Evil Queen is this- in the belle/rump heavy ep, towards the end rumps states to regina she’ll “never be more powerful than him” nor will she “ever win against him” – to me it’d be just like rumps to take his best opportunity to oust Regina by setting her up to fail (he knows the 1 thing that’ll make her somewhat malleable- her revenge of Snow)- when he talked deals with her re MM & murder, He never actually stated “I will ensure MM is convicted of Murder” nor “MM WILL leave town” All he stated was the possibility of it- very cleaver wording by the writers IMO (we can only assume what we saw was what was said at this point), as everyone seems to think he did make a fail-safe deal with Regina, when we all know Rumps NEVER makes a deal he doesnt benefit from directly 😉 & from the Rumps/Belle ep He clearly is playing a game of power with EQ, Enjoys & Wants to Win it.
What would be better than having the evil queen being destroyed well removing/breaking his curse – he would also no longer be branded a coward either, but a hero by all FT land- that last was just an icing on the cake thought I had lol -
