What Killian is actually like to Emma: I know you push people away because you think they’ll eventually leave you. I will not be that person for you. I will be by your side no matter what because your problems are my problems and I never want you to feel alone ever again.

Yep, this about sums it up doesnt it
Anybody who thinks Killian is “Bad” & is “Bad” for Emma 1) Doesnt understand Killian/Hook as a character at all 2) Needs to take off their hater/shipper goggles & take in how Killian/Hook is actually written & portrayed 2) Absolutely doesnt understand Emma as a character at all 3) Is missing some of the point of one of the core concepts of the show & 3) Need to pull their personal lives out of a fictional fantasy show & start seeing it as the entertainment it is & Not as some sort of weird guide on how to live their life- this isnt reality TV lol.Yeah…and I’m sure I’ve said it before, but it’s not like Emma ever actually asked him to leave her alone or go away; she often asked for his help or just wanted him around. And she did knee him in the groin once, when she didn’t remember him, so we know that she’s not at all afraid to express her negative feelings if she has them.
And I think I’ve said this before too (sorry…) but I get the distinct impression that for other Emma ships, Emma is really just a prop to make their favorite character happy. I see lots of whining about Emma and how they’ve changed her whole character (because she’s obviously either a lesbian with a crush on the woman who ruined her life and has tried to kill her multiple times or still hung up on the man who left her pregnant and in jail for his crimes). I mean, obviously I love Hook, but I love Emma just as much, if not more. I like them together because they make each other happy (and they have great chemistry), not because it’s just what Hook wants. And I’m so looking forward to finally getting more of Emma’s history this season!

This episode is a very important step for Emma Swan, for Killian Jones, for their journey to true love.

Swan was the name of the family that adopted Emma for a short time when she was a little girl. The Swans were probably the first to make Emma feel like she belonged, like she had a home, like she was loved, like she wasn’t an orphan anymore. But then they had their own baby and had given her up and she was an orphan again. Swan is a weight that Emma carries, a reminder of something she had and then lost. But when Killian calls her “Swan,” he says it with such reverence, with adoration. From his lips, I imagine her name doesn’t spark those painful memories. From his lips, I think “Swan” gives her strength.
For Killian, on the other hand, he’s been “Captain Hook” for centuries. His real name is a reminder of the man he was, the man of honor, the man who wanted to be a hero and went by a code of good form, the man he thought had died along with Liam and Milah. But he’s trying so hard to be that man again, to be good; and I feel like each time Emma calls him by his true name he is assured that he’s on the right track. That, underneath the pirate exterior, she can see the man he truly is. The name is no longer a painful memory, but a hopeful reminder of the good man – the one so driven by and full of love – that still exists.

With the easy anonymity of the Internet and the current acceptance and even applauding from imbeciles of hideous behavior with no personal accountability or grace, social media can be a foul breeding ground for people with no class and even less character. Twitter, in particular, thrives on wretched behavior. Some forums aren’t far behind. It isn’t clever. It isn’t an example of anything but ignorant spew. It is a septic tank of morons .

Hmm, I just noticed the pattern of the softer/more tender kisses have Killian on the left & Emma on the right, while the more passionately charged kisses have Emma on the left & Killian on the right ….I wonder if it’s pure coincidence or the beginnings of a pattern…here’s hoping another kiss will feature tomorrow & answer that very question 🙂
Both of these kisses are so beautiful because both are meant to be reassuring.
The first one is Emma letting her walls down, reassuring him that she’ll get there, if he’s patient with her, if he waits for her a little longer. That she’ll just have to sort a few things out before she can fully commit to what they have. And she knows he will wait because he’s always shown up for her and waited for her in the past.
The second one is Killian reassuring Emma that he’ll never leave her. She’s lost everyone she’s ever been with and she’s so vulnerable in this moment because she can’t bear the thought of losing him too, but this is Killian Jones, the pirate who managed to survive more than 300 years to avenge the death of his first love and now he’s going to survive for Emma and his love for her.

OMG!! So now appearantly the actress who plays Marian is getting hate mail?? She was a flippin’ human Popsicle frozen to the sofa in the mayor’s office for like 95% of the last episode! What could people possibly be sending her hate mail about?? They didn’t like the way she portrayed Robin’s frozen uncommunicative wife? They thought she silently ruined an OQ moment adhered to the couch under layers of ice? I think a requirement of this fandom should be that if you send an actor or anyone associated with the show a hate tweet you are required to also say the same thing to their face in person. Vile warts on the butts of humanity – all of them. May their instagrams get hacked and their iPhones lose all their data!!!
