Thoughts on the CS part of this ep (can post my thoughts on the whole ep if anyone wants them/doesnt want to leave this thread for the negativity of the forum ‘badlands’ 😉 )
Love how perceptive Hook is with Rumple…. Is Emma’s super power catching 😛
All the times Emma has sent Killy off on baby sitting missions, rather than letting him help her now makes a ton of sense- she doesnt want him in harms way … AWWWWW <3
Hehehe, Killy your pirate is showing again 😉 Love he decided for himself that, nope, he wasnt going to listen to his Emma, if she is going to choose to run off into danger, he is darn well going to try head that danger off- or least make sure he has her back, even if it means being mister sneaky to do so… Poor guy, he’d almost lost her the night before(?) & had only really finished defrosting her, then shes right back off to find a bad guy capable of freezing people solid. One of my favorite lines of the ep “With Emma running into danger, not a chance in hell” when Elsa asks if they are going to the station.
Dang Killian has a whopping great brass set to straight up cross Rumple/DO like that, no one can say the guy doesnt have guts for gold! (see what I did there ) I do wonder just how epic Rumple’s revenge will be… hope Killy sleeps with both eyes open from now on- the other foot falling from that is going to make very good television, but cause us CS, Emma & Hook fans a lot of angst I bet! 😉
Side note- because I LOVE the Charming/Emma-Daddy/daughter moments so much 😉 … Hahahaha, Charming’s face when Emma out lock-picks, Will- classic ‘wait, what?!- crap, I’m kind of proud’ moment right there (would love to be a fly on the wall when he tells Snow how Neal taught Emma to B&E lol)
I admit, I had reservations about Will coming to Once (still a bit worried about Wonderland cannon), but they are pretty much gone now. Rumple has had his sass crown stolen by the Knave & the comic relief Will brings to the show is awesome! 😉 Aww to Charming’s ‘talk to me’ “I’m your Father” Daddy moment! <3 <3 <3I’ll add this bit, since it relate to CS 😉 – Elsa & Killy bonding = sweet. Love how Killian really takes in what Elsa tells him & lets some of his charming pirate side out. Also enjoyed that Elsa seems to respond to Hook in much the same way Emma does- the look on her face when they were talking LOL. Loved his ‘Just because I’m a pirate doesnt mean I’m bad/evil’ line… Smart move on Killy’s part- marking the trees mean not only is it easier for to get out in a hurry, it also makes it easier for Emma & David to find them.
LOVE that Emma has given Killy a cell ph (darn I wish we could have seen her explaining how it worked & giving it to him), also love his explanation of a ph to Elsa “I dont know, its a device… for talking, I dont bloody know! I press the Emma button & she answers usually” then comes my fav line of the episode- in response to getting Emma’s answer ph “Why should I carry around this ridiculous thing if you’re never there when I use it?!” .. I can so relate 😉 & just how many times has Killy called his Swan 😉
No having to wait to harness her magic this time- Emma’s, Killy is in danger & BOOM! Magic on – Guess Rumple was right- magic is emotion 😉
Warning, my Emma, Hook & CS feels went into melt down during the middle of the road scene…. LOVE how Emma dropped another layer of her walls with him, letting him finally know what is really scaring the hell out of her- I felt so much empathy for Emma, telling him with stilted breathing & tears in her eyes, her fear & pain perfectly clear. Killian’s shock at what it is- fear of loosing him- that has her randomly pulling away from him on occasions, how her fear & pain effected & moved him, then his beyond perfect, understanding, softly & reassuringly delivered response- not only does he get her to crack a small smile, he helps put her at ease & that kiss *melts*
Additional side note about the Snow Queen, because I love her & she relates to Emma, who I love & i;m not braving the wilds of the forums to try find a ‘safe’ thread to post in- Great Snow Queen entrance! & can I say… I Love her already… cant wait to find out why she was in that urn! I Want To Know How She Knows Emma… Like Yesterday (my head cannon is she tried to adopt or foster Emma or knew/interacted with her as a child somehow, because when she said “Emma” she gasped & seemed emotionally moved … shocked isnt the right word, ‘seen a ghost’ isnt the right phrase, not sure scared covers it … kind of more like how you’d expect someone to react if they all of a sudden saw a child they’d known & cared about years ago, unexpectedly pop up)… Oh, before I forget “Dairy Queen” LOL
Well on the off chance anyone pops in, here’s one of my favorite moments of this ep- Killy worried about not having Emma’s back, after he just got her defrosted 😉 …
I can’t handle it. Between this episode itself and the promo…am I the only one who feels like a thirteen-year-old?
Nope- I feel like I’ve dropped 20 years & a ton of dignity LOL 😉 😛
side note: every time I see your avatar Epona, i feel I should be using my girl as a avatar lol- this is the only site she’s not my avatar…. but I LOVE my Hook one too darn much to give it up yet lol
Great episode, tonight! We know for sure who blackmailed Rumple, though. I used to feel sorry for Rumplestiltskin. Not that I ever thought Hook was responsible for anything other than loving Milah (and now, Emma), but I used to think Rumple was just a product of a bad deck of cards. He keeps making decisions that show he gratifies himself first before anybody else though, and that is why I can’t be a “devil’s advocate” where he’s concerned. Not, anymore. I look forward to more Captain Swan this season, and hope Killian comes out okay, in the end.
You just hit the nail on the head with my issues with Rumple- he’s his own worst enemy, yet saw himself the victim of circumstances. I just had an awesome discussion with a Rumple fan & oddly he ‘s one of the few who can honestly see (after I pointed out saying Milah abandoned Rumple was not correct), that Rumple is responsible for not only Milah’s running away, but also Neal’s death… had Rumple listened to any of Milah’s requests to start over, rather than letting his fear/cowardliness rule him, none of what happened ever would have happened… but then we wouldnt have this fantastic show lol.
